This is a long overdue review, and probably an atypical one. We hired Aquatech to renovate our pool and lanai area. The unfortunate part was we had a few hiccups along the way, but the most impressive thing is that when they told me they didn't walk away from their jobs, they meant it. What matters is where we landed and in the end. Colton (who is incredibly knowledgeable about all things related to pools, stone, etc.) stepped in and did right by us. We ended up with great results. Annette is awful. She has actually always had a bad attitude. Very strange. Their monthly cleaning service rep was supposed to be doing a full cleaning of our pool every week, which we were paying a higher price point for.Turns out he was barely doing half the contracted cleaning. He was fired for doing this to many of his service customers.. Obviously I expected to be reimbursed for the part of the service that was not being given. Annette instead offered a set of towels. A set of damn towels. Ridiculous. . Truly awful business. Also, most of the reps are quite unfriendly. Unpleasant experience over all. read more

Let me start by saying I don't take the time to write a lot of reviews. We just had a pool built by Aquatech & cannot be happier with EVERY phase of the pool building process. First, in 2018, we were looking for a home to buy. The one we were looking at had no pool, and the realtor was unsure if one could be built. she called Colton (Co-owner of Aquatech) he came to the house, told her how it could be done, & we ended up buying the house. The fact that he would take time out of his day like that wasn't forgotten. Three years later, and we decided to get a pool. Every single person we met at Aquatech went up, above & beyond. Jeff, our Salesman , had so much patience, knowledge & has a great eye for tile & paver combinations. The construction crews were fantastic taking great care of not hurting our driveway, minimizing and lawn damage & keeping things clean while digging out our pool area. Our Project Manager, Dan, would text, call or come by often to make sure everything was running seamlessly. I probably asked 50 questions & he answered them all. We couldn't ask for better care. Rob B patiently taught us our pool equipment. Would come by to check out, adjust, investigate any issue that came up with how the pool/spa was running. He went above & beyond to make sure it was running perfectly. All of the staff I met at Aquatech were helpful & great people. We are also using Aquatech for our pool service . Branden is thorough, quiet like a ninja and does a beautiful job. Lastly, Annette, the other Co-owner, I truly appreciated that if I stopped in with a question or concern, she took the time to come out & answer it personally. We are so pleased with the services provided by Aquatech in building our saltwater pool, spa, Florida shelf and extended lanai! It was a large project but greatly expanded our outdoor living space. Colton, the owner, is an award-winning pool designer and his services are used all over the world. He meticulously helped us design our pool, keeping in mind our budget wants and needs. This was our first pool and we made several changes before finalizing our plans. He was happy to accommodate our suggestions and often countered back rationale as to why that may or may not work. They broke ground in October 2023 and every day, crews were outside our home working on some aspect of the pool. They were respectful of our home, meticulous in their work and a pleasure to work with. Dan Clement, the supervisor was amazing! From the start, he commanded the project - checking out every detail and ensuring that we were happy with the progress. I could text him daily and he got back immediately and seemed to swing by almost daily to answer our questions. Even after the project was technically finished, he came by to help us sort out issues with our robot pool cleaner and water issues. Dan is a gem and if you are lucky enough to work with him...you will be happy for sure! The project came in at exactly what they anticipated it would cost...and friends and family are amazed at what a beautiful job they did. The landscaper they work with brought us four beautiful trees and repaired our grass so it looks better than new. All in all, the quality and value of Aquatech's services were amazing and we will daily marvel at how quickly and professionally this was completed. read more

We had our pool built by AquaTech after being designed by Colton in late 2020 and it surpassed all our expectations. There were some timing glitches due to Covid, but we were kept apprised and the process start to finish was approximately 3 months. Very glad we build when we did, as the same pool today would be substantially more expensive. read more

We had a contract to have a pool built before Covid hit. Aquatech was suppose to have started it in the fall and it was understood to be completed by January 1st. when we arrived for the winter. Nothing was started by the 1st.. So we got on them big time to get going and the process took 3 months and that was with constantly contacting them and lighting a fire under their butts. The process also included over charges for everything blaming everything on the pandemic which we paid. The pool comes with a 1 year warranty which is crap for something that cost $70K. Cars have longer warranties, do they not trust their work ? We used it for a month. We have cameras and an auto fill that we can activate by an app and noticed we were adding water twice a week to the tune of approximately 170-190 gallons and when we got back down in January we really paid attention to it thinking it was due to evaporation. We thought we might have a leak but since the pool was new and not 25 years old that it couldn't be that. We finally called them after our so called warranty was up and they got the leak people they use and found the grout at the skimmer was broke loose. They hired the paver people for the job and I feel they may have bumped the skimmer in the paver process and said "You should charge them for the leak fix." Aquatech said NO it is your responsibility and you owe us $450. I said I won't pay it and to charge the paver people or just pay it yourself after all of the overcharges from the pandemic you have enough of our money. I would not recommend Aquatech to anyone and pay attention to the warranty because 1 year is bullshit. read more

Fantastic experience from start to finish-even with all the Covid craziness. We LOVE our new pool designed by Colton just for our wants and needs. All phases of the job were supervised by Aaron Durant who kept us informed as to what was happening and what to expect. Even the office support staff were super helpful whenever we called. This is our first pool build and we were a bit nervous -have heard some horror stories from friends who had pools built. We've had a bad experience with Aquatech. After interviewing 5 companies to perform our extensive pool renovation (nearly $40k), we decided to go with Aquatech. The previous owner had built our first pool and we were pleased with the result. Timing was another big deciding factor and our salesperson told us that the project would begin once it was permitted and would take approximately 3-4 weeks. We signed our contract and gave them a $13k deposit on 7/31/20 and our permit was issued on 8/17/20, but the first of many subcontract companies didn't show up until 9/25/20. I contacted the new owner to discuss my concerns and in summary she said, "they (issues) happen, we deal with it". I can not express the level of stress and dissatisfaction this project has created over the past months by subcontractors showing up or not showing up, usually without notice. Our project has taken months, not weeks! Aquatech was out yesterday, 2/2/21, attempting to balance the pH so that the new Pebble Tec would cure properly. So, at 6 months the project has not been completed. In addition, we have what I deem as design oversights by Aquatech that we will always have "to deal with". read more

Aquatech (Charlie Terry) designed and built our pool. Many internal changes! New management although Charlie is still with the company. The pool as such is a constant problem.... Every single part of the pool's mechanisms have needed replacement. The frequent turnover of inside and outside staff is distressing. Our Pool service weekly provider is Willie and he is very conscientious. I count on his service and advice. When it comes to the mechanics and repairs, there is SHANE!! Such an excellent service person. As of this review: the pool now needs a resurfacing. The main drain is a problem and again, more problems. This company is installing my neighbor's pool and today rather than using a wet saw to cut the pavers the crew used a concrete saw which blew paver sediment into our home and all over the exterior of our house and lanai. Everything is covered and we can taste it inside our house. They gave no warning so that we could put up plastic and close blinds and curtains. Poor management and bad company. read more

Had my pool finished in Dec 2015 ,had many issues they got me to sign off on pool and now ignored all issues,tried to fix an issue before work done wrong was ignored and problem never fixed,the concrete work done looked like the guys first ever job.deck painter just never came back to paint deck had to finish myself my skimmer is bent and deformed the fiberglass is so bad inside your afraid to reach in to clean skimmer basket. Be aware sales man blew off every concern this was the 3rd pool I had built and was a night mare,I am looking to hire a real pool company to fix all the problems.it won't let me post till I select a star rating they don't have negative stars so I have to post 1 star but they don't deserve even that Anyone that would like to come see my mess to prove I'm not just making it up your more than welcome to view my pool before I hire a new company to fix this mess. read more

Really disappointing service from Aqua Tech, they remodelled our pool, which came with a 10 year guarantee, when the bottom started to break up they refused to repair under warranty and gave us no recourse to a repair with them, further blaming our pool care company who insist they have kept the pool at the correct levels. Sadly when we returned last week there is more parts of the pool breaking up and many many calcium spots on the bottom. We are so disappointed with the follow up service and can see we will have to pay again to have our pool re-done in the very near future. read more

I am currently in the process of having AquaTech refinish my pool; so far I am NOT impressed with their "contract" workers or their "attitude" to problem issues! My pool area is a mess, with tile grout on smeared on my pool deck and a worker helped himself to my pool strainer net, which he destroyed without telling me! So far the salesman was fine, but the owner "Annette" and the workers, have minimal concern with the job, or any progress in the completion of the pool. I may have made a big mistake, but since AquaTech requires 50% deposit and 40% before the final surface is applied, I am having serious concerns that I have made a very bad choice in pool companies. Please look for another pool company. This one is terrible! We gave them two opportunities, we built two pools with them and the two times the service was terrible and the prices ridiculous. Sadly, my experience ended poorly. I will agree that they are very friendly and got back to me "reasonably" quickly, but I started to have issues with my pool that they could not fix. They referred me to another company for the repairs and the pool tech that came out tested my water to find that the chemicals were so bad that they were "borderline dangerous". He encouraged me to take a sample to Pinch-a-Penny to get a print out, and the guys there also agreed that the chemicals were WAY off. The high level of acid in my pool, with little to no chlorine caused my pool to leak. Aquatech refused to do anything to help repair what they did. I am now facing a large expense and will have to look into possible litigation. read more

Everyone was great. From Colton on our design to Greg,Travis,Ben and Shane (sorry if I've forgotten a name or two)during construction and completion I can't say enough. They provided us with a time table and they hit all of their dates. Everyone was professional and polite and went the extra mile to make us happy. As this was our first in ground pool if we had an issue or a question they came out quickly and answered our questions and addressed our concerns. When we were told that something was going to be done it was done perfectly. The office staff is great. Very polite and friendly and willing to assist you(thank you Susan). Pool is great.
