We had Indigo create and install an outdoor kitchen and although the kitchen is fab, working with the project manager was painful and frustrating. Throughout the project there very little communication and the project manager was responsive only after multiple calls. There was no communication or coordination between the project manager and the granite installation. There was also a 3 month delay of the hood, which never arrived and husband ordered one from Amazon, without the help of the project manager, so the size is off. I could continue with the frustrations but you get the idea. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star because the cabinet and equipment installation people were competent and very nice. It hurts my heart to give a business a poor recommendation however communication is key to a successful installation. read more

They mis measured the pool configuration, and then argued with us before fixing . It turns out that nothing is ever under warranty ; our pavers are now sinking... which means additional expense! Great experience at Indigo Pool. Spent a couple of weeks deciding which grill to buy and spoke with Florence over the phone a few times. She was very helpful, and went out of her way to find some answer for me. Ended up buying a Pitts and Spitts which they had in stock. Picked it up on a Saturday and everyone working was super cool. Kevin helped load the smoker and chatted for a while. Store has a ton of pellets, wood for smoking, spices, and so much more. I live about an hour north of here but if I was closer I'd be here weekly. read more

I first contracted with indigo to install a pool back in Spring of 2002. In September we decided not to install the pool after they told us it would be March 2023 before they could begin and a lease 6 months to complete. At which point they allowed us to recontract to just extend out our patio which we made 20 x 40. This project began in December of 2022 and was completed on March 31, 2023. The work that was done was excellent and we are very happy with the finished results. However, the reason for the 3 star rating is not the the quality of work but the time frame in which it was done. We discovered after the work was in progress that Indigo used only sub-contractorsand and has no inhouse labor. This means they are solely at the marcy of the subs for the work which is unacceptable when Indigo is holding a large sum of the customers money before the work is completetion. Being a retired Property Manager with the State of Illinois I am use to working with contractors from beginning to end in many typer of building projects. Four months to complete a project of this size would be considered excessive. Maybe because I moved from a midwest state I not use to the slowness of construction in the south. However as more people relocate to Frorida business need to learn how to adap to provide services that customers are used too, otherwise reviews will be posted that are unfavorable and businesses will begin to suffer. Simpley put the days of the slow south are over if a business wants to survive and grow. Four and Five star ratings should be given is the work is excellent and the project is completer in a timely and cost effectuive manner. read more

We contracted with Indigo Swimming Pools to re-surface and renovate our existing swimming pool. We found their staff to be both professional and knowledgeable about the process we were about to undergo. We were especially impressed with their standardized approach- they were very particular to put everything in writing and didn't mind the extra hassle of pricing out numerous options for us. When the construction was underway, the supervisor was always calm and patient. He was careful to let us know when the workers would be onsite and what the "next step" was in the process. He was always concerned for us. And lastly (and in my opinion the most important): the quality. I'm not just saying this... you have to look really hard to find any imperfections with our finished pool. Generally speaking, when it comes to pools, minor imperfections show in a big way. Ours is magnificent! Seriously, we feel like our pool should be in a brochure. Normally my wife and I, don't write reviews. But in this case, we felt compelled. When the occasional (rare) company comes a long that REALLY does go above and beyond, they should be recognized for their hard work and efforts. We meet with three other pool contractors but Chris at Indigo was the only one that explained all the equipment and what to expect so thoroughly. They started on time and Jason the project manager answered his phone within a couple rings or he would get back to us in a short period of time. Communication was so important to us being out of town during most of the construction. We had a difficult situation with our light since the pool was so old and Mark worked so hard to resolve the issue which saved us money. The crew was professional & cleaned up everything. Indigo Pool recently resurfaced and tiled our pool. While the pool looks nice, their contractors acid washed the pool and splashed it on my lanai deck. In addition, whatever equipment was brought in scratched the deck. I wrote to Chris the salesman and Pat the owner who said they would always be available to listen. I have to redo the deck and there has been no response from them about my concerns. There was little communication during the process. I found one of the contractors sitting on my lanai chair and smoking. I am very disappointed with them and feel they are very unprofessional. Buyer beware. read more

Very disappointed with the outcome of the design of the pool. No communication when installing tiles by workers. Different sizes of tile around perimeter of pool. It is an eye sore and a noticeable flaw that cannot be fixed!! This was NOT explained to us during visits with sales person. The owner, Pat, was more concerned about receiving his money then fixing the issue. He was no help in finding a solution to this serious issue. Now, I am stuck with different size tiles that make the flow & design of the pool look cheap. I would NOT recommend doing business with Indigo pool & spa services. Despite the recommendations we would not pass on any recommendations for Indigo. The job looks nice at this point but not without its little flaws. The biggest disappointment is with the lack of responsiveness and communication by the company. We never new what was happening, when people would be there and when things would be done and we weren't even in a hurry. Calls and text would not be returned. They left a pallet of trash on our lawn over a weekend. Oddly enough they called right away when they wanted money. The excuse for poor communication was that the foreman doesn't like to deliver bad news. After they installed the heater and left it didn't work. The auto fill didn't work and they came back to fix it several times saying it worked but it didn't. Would suggest using someone else if you want a quality job with responsive service. read more

We had them come out on September 21, 2015 to give us a quote for pebble tec and new tile on the pool, new pool equipment, heater, pump, salt system, etc., pavers and possibly an in ground spa. It is now December 2nd and we are still waiting for out quote. I called and the sales person returned my call and left a message saying it was going on the managers desk to be approved. He also said that they would not be the cheapest quote. Not sure why he felt the need to tell us this. I saved this message so that when I do get to talk to the manager, I will play the message for him. Maybe the need to hire new help. Was extremely unhappy with the final outcome of a complete pool renovation. When we asked for Indigo to correct the issue and held back a final payment until we were satisfied with the outcome, they threatened to put a lien on our house instead of rectify the situation. They are nothing but bullies. They tried to sell us new equipment that wasn't needed. The owner of Indigo said "It is what it is," and we are left with a pool that we are embarrassed of. From start to finish the planing and build went as advertised. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and my wife and I have no complaints about it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I think the build could have gone a lot quicker if the work crews weren't spread about so thin. As a result, we would see various crews working on the build on average of only 2 days a week. The other reason is because of Pat's unwillingness to discount anything. The costs are what they are and that's all there is to it. And finally, the cost of repair to damaged landscape, including parts of my neighbors yard, were completely my responsibility and expense. But he did make that clear upfront. So it's more of a policy issue than criticism. All things considered, however, the results are simply beautiful. read more
