They also argued that since I accepted the unit they ordered, I was responsible for checking that the unit was the correct size - even though I had provided them with the correct specs and relied on them to order the replacement correctly. Put differently, they wanted me to verify that they placed the order correctly before paying for the unit. So, I'm out $800 dollars because the owners of the store failed to acknowledge their mistake in ordering the wrong unit and wouldn't even attempt to make me whole by ordering the correct one. Bought an American Whirlpool hottub from this company at their Lakeland location two years ago…read more Went with a local company, knowing we would pay more, because support was important to us. They did tell me that they were going to be discontinuing that brand but that they would still provide service. Now the hottub can't get hot (I keep it set at 104 degrees and it is stuck at 99) so I called them to see about getting it serviced. Now they no longer service these hottubs and that I need to call the company to see who can service it. They couldn't/wouldn't help me find someone to service it! Guess now that they have my money, I'm on my own. Would never go back there again. UPDATE: Closest certified American Whirlpool service center wants to charge me $471 for travel expense. I have messaged this company to ask for help since they assured me they would still service the hot tub we bought and I never heard back from them (that was over a week ago. I also called the Brandon location to see if I could get some help and all I got was "I'm sorry!". No offer to help in any way.
