We engaged Blue Tropix to resurface the pool with excellent results (see photo). The process was explained and when the resurfacing was completed they did the startup as well, which is important. There was no communication or coordination between the project manager and the granite installation. There was also a 3 month delay of the hood, which never arrived and husband ordered one from Amazon, without the help of the project manager, so the size is off. I could continue with the frustrations but you get the idea. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star because the cabinet and equipment installation people were competent and very nice. It hurts my heart to give a business a poor recommendation however communication is key to a successful installation.

They took over one year to complete my pool, when they promised at contract signing that it would "only take a few months". Completion should have been in June, but didn't happen until 10/31. Lots of blaming the county, blaming other contractors, blaming Ian (which happened a few years earlier), etc, etc. The workers just show up unannounced, which is alarming when they appear in your backyard without prior notice. Once the pool cage was up, they'd also just walk right on in. Extremely unprofessional for them to not bother knocking on the door to alert you they are there to work. Shoddy work (one part has failed twice already). They also don't know how to get the control panel to work with the app (which the sales guy said was "so easy to do"). This company has also called me a liar to prospective new customers. It's extremely unprofessional for them to do that. If any of you all want proof, I have tons of email and text trails showing that this company royally sucked and didn't do their job professionally, nor on time. And to call me a liar for letting the world know about the terrible experience I had...they are horrific. When you have loads of negative reviews about a company, it really tells the story. And that story is .... *THIS COMPANY IS THE PROBLEM*, not me or anyone else that's trying to warn you to stay away from them.

Did mutter about "not liking" the piece of equipment I upfront specifically arranged for them to look at and then did nothing with it. I spent a few minutes myself looking at one of them and determined that a check valve was stuck closed. I spent another few minutes looking at the piece of equipment I asked them to and then the manual online and then solved that problem - actually it also solved the third problem as well. They did refund the majority of the cost. Agree it is rare equipment but it was specifically mentioned up front. Also, still no idea why the acid feeder wasn't worked on.
