Didn't like the attitude of Mike the owner. A roofer was reroofing my home and dropped several screws in the pool and Mike had a hissy fit with the roofer. He did not want to take care of the pool after a hurricane and thought it was too much for him to. He likes pools that take 5 min and then leave. read more

I discontinued service with this company after a few months. No one ever picks up the phone. You leave a voicemail and you never get a returned call. I've emailed Denise/owner- NO response. The company installed a pool filter, and timer without my knowledge or consent, prior to installing. Apparently this business is being run from a residence, not a "brick and mortar" store-a 1 woman operation which is seriously understaffed... Not even an accounting department. After being with Neptune for almost two years I can't recommend them. They are close to being non-responsive. Dave was our pool servicer. He knows almost nothing about pools and is a glorified pool skimmer. He will talk to you incessantly for 30 minutes and do 5 minutes of work. He is lazy and does less than the absolute minimum. He is a bully and definitely has an anger management issue. We finally fired them about 6 weeks ago and got a new service which was actually even worse. So, we went back to Neptune and they ultimately agreed to take us back as a customer and by increasing our monthly rate by $30. I spoke with Dave to give him appropriate feedback and to "clear the air." He was originally fired by us because he did not take care of the reservoir on our infinity pool and was totally lazy. The final straw was he took our $1,300 pool vacuum and threw it more than 10 feet into the air into the pool and damaged it. But let bygones be bygones. He and I shook hands and re-established trust. Later that day he told the owner of Neptune let he didn't want to take care of our pool. So...he once again broke trust and created an integrity issue. They ultimately did us a left-handed favor. The new pool service is much better. They know how to maintain and repair pool system issues and are very responsive. If you want problems, then hire Neptune. You can't do worse but you can do much better. read more

Neptune Pools solicitated us via mailer to provide pool service. We were happy with their service tech Chris who took care of our pool. Then one week he didn't show. He always left a card saying he was there. We weren't home, so we assumed he came and forgot the card so we waited until the following week, no show. That's when it gets weird. I called Neptune. Owner says he can't reach Chris but he'll get someone else. That week passed, nothing. I called the next week, another promise, and again no show. I called at the end of the third week without service, was told to hang by the phone, he'd get someone over and then he had the nerve to never to call back. Seemed like a nice company at first but something is really wrong with this kind of customer service. Plus we paid them in advance for 6 months of stabilizer we will probably never see again.
