Cost §1000+ to fix leak. Did not fix leak. Came back a few weeks later to fix fixed leak. Cost another §1000+. Leak still not fixed! Did NOT call them again as I see what their game really is. Called a local Mom and Pop company that came out and REALLY FIXED the leak within ONE HOUR! The cost was §275. I'm not saying that Red Rhino is running a scam, I'll let the reader of this review decide that, but I will say that it's highly suspicious that this company has good reviews. After waiting over two weeks for an appointment and confirming appointment the day before the technician did not show. After being very upset about the situation the district manager called and scheduled that he would come down on Saturday himself and do the diagnosis. He was gracious kind and on time. If you deal with this company be sure to ask for Zach as he really did change my opinion of the entire experience. The information he gave was accurate very detailed, And support it with both photographic and video. He finished early which was very nice as it can take up to six hours. They found the leak fast but the tech used channel locks to put my fountain back in place. Only problem with that is PVC piping doesn't fair well when metal tools are used on it! I called the office first thing on a Saturday morning and they said they would let management know. They called back later and said they would send the tech up from Sarasota to fix it right away. I told them they could just pay the $25 for the replacement one I purchased since it would cost them more than that to send the tech an hour and a half drive one way and replace the parts that were damaged. They agreed and are mailing a check out for the fountain. We then scheduled the repair with them and they were able to get there 5 days later to fix the leak. The guy got there at 10 in the morning and he was done by noon. He turned on the water and let it start filling up. When I got home the water was milky white due to the left over sediment hydro cement that fell into the little bit of water that was left in the pool when the work was completed. I was out of town while the the pool was being filled and my neighbors turned the pool back on before I got home. However there was a large amount of sediment that was in the pool and the robot stopped working but not before sucking up several large clumps of Hydro Cement which found its way I to the strainer. So, I took the robot in for repair bought a manual vacuum brush set up and got to work. I contacted them today about my concerns about the job site clean up and I was told the manager would call me back. I received the call from the guy who did the repair and he took ownership of the couple of issues and they offered to pay for the repair to the robot but the pool company I buy from me didn't charge me. I told him that I didn't call to get money just to get an apology. He owned the mistakes and that enough for me in a day and age where companies don't take owner ownership of there mistakes. read more

They have worked on a stubborn leak in my pool since I bought the house a few months ago. Red Rhino is awesome. I have had a leak in my pool since I bought my house 4 years ago. I had 3 pool companies come out and no one could locate the leak. I called Red Rhino and Ben Steiner came out on a Monday and found the leak within 1/2 hour. He also found an issue with some pipes leaking and sucking air from when I had my pool equipment moved by another company (Gettel Pools) months before. Red Rhino scheduled the leak to be repaired on Friday. I received a call about an hour later from the repair tech saying he had an opening and he could come out within the hour. They take pictures of everything they do and send them to you. I am so pleased with their service and will highly recommend to anyone. read more

We had a pool leak in the worst possible place, the drain at the bottom. Red Rhino found the leak and have us quote, which we accepted. The technician came and fixed it in one day. Since the pool had to be completely drained, we arranged to have two tankers full of water delivered the next day. All was well until we woke up the next morning and saw that the water level was low again. We called Red Rhino and they came out, inspected the pool again and discovered the leak was not completely fixed. This is where it gets good. They came back, re-use the repair and even paid for new tankers of water. We were thrilled with their responsiveness and that they volunteered to pay for the water. I have been busy spending money on some outside remodeling, new pavers on old lanai and a new pool cage, so I was unhappy when the pool started losing water. A pool leak; just what I wanted to hear. I discovered there are companies who find the leak but then you need to find a plumber to fix the leak. Red Rhino does it all so we called. They found the leak and gave us a price for the repair. I had just spent thousands on new pavers, so I was not happy to hear they might have to cut through the pavers. Lucky for me that the technician felt my angst and figured he might be able to cut through the facing tiles, pull out the old water spill, and install a new one, and solve my pool leak. No, he wasn't trying to sell me a new water effect, the old one had to go. Also learned these water effects are custom made to fit your pool's needs. The first one was the wrong size; the second was perfect. OK, the process took a couple of weeks but we are talking pool which anyone who has one knows if it is being fixed, you want it done right. Forgot, some want it on the cheap but I want it right. It's done. My technician, I just feel plumber doesn't cover all he did, was great. He stood in that water for hours to get the old fixture out while doing everything he could to not damage my investment. Both my wife and I are ecstatic with the job he did. Guests comment on the great look the new waterfall gives the pool. Personally, I don't believe you can do better then Red Rhino. This is FL and unfortunately the state seems rife with rip-off repair services. At least if you use Red Rhino you get professionals who show up, do great work, and stand behind their service. We were experiencing a lot of bubbles and water taking on so thought we had a leak in a pipe somewhere. Zack came and tested everything and found that our main drain had been plugged. He unplugged and ran the tests finding no leaks. What a relief to us because we had just bought the house and thought we had a huge problem. All test were ok so what a relief to us. Still didn't figure out where the water was coming in but they are gonna keep in touch and see how things go.
