I got a wonderful hand made sweater from Ireland and a beautiful Martha Stewart quilt! Many items still have original price tags. They also carry glassware and pictures frames, books and home decor, Crystal dishes and vases. I often find Rae Dunn items here and so many things from Home Goods but without the Home Goods prices! I know thrifting is starting to be a trend. Whether you are new or have been doing it a longtime, check out this store! Also grab the green punch card. For every $10 spent you get a hole in the card and fill the card, get $10 off. Agrace also gives your money spent back to the community we live in!

Located in strip of shops I found to be Agrace to be a very nice thrift store with a good selection of upscale items. The selection of clothing is a bit limited, but they were doing work to expand the shop into the store next door. Agrace did have a nice selection of decor and home goods, including some really unique vintage items. I found a nice older Mexican wood carving that was very reasonably priced and had to buy it. Agrace is a very nice thrift store with some really good items for sale, well worth a visit to see if you can find something you like. A bit upscale, but with good prices so check them out.

The crew here are so cool, kind, and attentive. And they cook up the best hot bar with plenty of vegetarian options! Super clean and spacious store. Love the layout. Open, welcoming, not noisy.

I made a loop around the store that started with produce, then into a very small bakery area and the hot bar/deli area, into the cold section and shelves, and finally through the frozen section. There are a lot of organic, natural, and alternative-diet food items and a wider array of veggie products than you'll encounter at a regular grocery store. I had hoped to find graham flour here, but they didn't carry it in either their bulk flours up front, nor in the baking aisle. One thing that stuck out to me is that prices are all over the place. Some things are much cheaper than you'll find them in typical grocery stores, while others are sticker-shock expensive. For example, Field Roast veggie sausages were around $5, while they go for closer to $7 at most other places around Madison. On the flip side, there was a rising crust pizza for I think $6 that I just picked up for $3.50 at another store. One thing I will say is that the vibe of the Co-op is different from any other grocer I've been to, in that it seemed like hangout spot. Lots of people were shopping in pairs with friends and chit-chatting away with each other and the staff. It's definitely got more of a community/small-town corner shop feel in that way. I have a gift card for the Co-op burning a hole in my wallet, so I'll have to pop back through again when I have more time to browse and don't have specific items in mind.
