Ever wonder what a gamer's dream collection would look like? Just go to Fallout Games and see for yourself! I walked into this store thinking they would have a few rare games and/or consoles but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw almost every game system you can think of along with a ton of games organized neatly along the walls, shelves, etc. They even have original boxes displayed throughout the store and interactive systems set up throughout the store so you can try any game they have in stock for free before you buy! They have every system you can dream up and a huge variety of games to choose from. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The store was clean and organized. The prices were similar or even more affordable than if you were to buy it from the GameStop or Bookmans. I love that they also have 3 locations around the valley. So if something isn't at the location you are near, they might have it at one of their other locations. You just never know what you will find in there. read more

I enjoy video games especially games of old yore, yes yore. I had heard about fallout games and in my mind imagined an old Gamers or Electronic Boutique but perhaps crappier (imagine that, am i rite guys - cause they were both pretty bad) this due to the fact that old games get tossed and what not (never by me but people with no remorse or care or overall positive demeanor/ taste). Either way I was BLOWN AWAY!!!!! Its like taking a trip to Toys R Us in the 90's! You know back when Toys R Us meant something. They had "isles" of toys not a weird as circular layout and the video game area had a crazy 2 sided laminated cards, ROWS OF THEM, providing descriptions and screenshots of the game. And if you wanted it you could purchase it.... with a paper sheet held inside a clear plastic envelope that on a good day you could convince your parent to bring up to the register. This place is a blast in the past with games as far back as Atari and as new as the current gen consoles (ps3,Xbox 360, wii u ...JK WII U ISN'T NEXT GEN HAHAHA) So next time your looking for a virtual boy or a 3DO version of "night trap" ( best version / full screen) hit up Fallout games, I cant say enough its as awesome as my run on sentences read more

Love this store! The only system I managed to keep over the years is a Sega Genesis. I can always come in and expect to find new and rare games for it. The people working here are very nice and helpful when it comes to letting you try out games or tracking one down that they may not have. There are times games can be a bit pricey, but overall I'd say the pricing is correct. Definitely the place to go for your classic gaming needs. read more

This place is a joke. I went here because I'm not a huge fan of GameStop. The employee here sat on the ground behind the counter on the phone for about 5 minutes before he got up and there were 3 people in the store and 2 of us were standing at the counter. And their polices are absurd no returns or exchanges except the same product. read more

The service here is one of the things I love the most about this store. Most of the inventory itself is most likely older than I am, and doesn't always work the first time you buy it. But, if there ever is a problem with anything the employees here will do more than their best to help fix any solvable problems. I've personally bought a Nintendo 64 console, a Gameboy Color, multiple games for various consoles, and have never been disappointed with any of these purchases. I come here every so often to see if they have anything I like. The games ARE sorted alphabetically and by system. I've bought all my current old consoles from this store with no issues. The cords for the Gamecube I bought were in bad shape, and they exchanged them for me with no problems. read more

Finally got a chance to drop by this location for the first time last week, and I was very impressed! It was very neat, the guy there was helpful, and it was a lot less crowded than the Tempe location, which I'm used to going to. The same guy was there that I see sometimes at Tempe, so that was nice, too. Since the store is newer, I was told they can't transfer games, which is pretty lame. I ended up driving 35 minutes from the Tempe store to pick up a copy of Kingdom Hearts II. It was worth it, though. There were a lot of rare games there, and I even ended up finding Shantae! Since I live about in the middle between the stores, I'll definitely make it a point to drop by more often. read more

I went to pick up a used N64. I live all the way out in El Mirage and this was the only store that had both the system and the game I wanted. The gentlemen (Richard) I talked on the phone was very polite and told me they were closing in 1 hour and he could hold it for me. I called him up and let him know I was 2 miles away and it was 2 minutes from closing. He said no problem we will make sure you are taken care of. When I arrived he bundled the system with 3 games and an extra controller and made sure to help me with suggestions that still kept to my budget. I will always come to this location for all of my dynasty gaming needs. read more

So I have been going to this store since they opened. At first this store was amazing. I freaking loved this place and went there frequently. The selection was good, the products were cleaned and tested before purchase, and customer service was pretty good. I perform restorations, repairs, and modwork to older electronics and this place WAS a great place to get consoles to use for modification work so I would not have to wait for shipping online. Over the past 2-3 years however this place has become a shit show. The first glaring issue with this place is their ability to make sure their product still actually works. I have had several consoles that either needed to be repaired or exchanged and have also had multiple consoles purchased from them by others brought to me for repairs. Their cartridges aren't much different, it was a very common occurrence for me to have to drive back across town to exchange a defective (that's right, defective not dirty) game cartridge. These problems ranged from faulty power regulators, bad cartridge slots, corrosion on key components, faulty cheap Chinese third party power supplies damaging components, and broken solder pads/joints that were not checked correctly during their re-pinning process. The next issue is their lack of ability to properly care for and repair consoles that they claim to open and fix them up. I can not tell you how many consoles such as the NES that I have opened up and found either half the screws missing or parts such as the RF shielding missing altogether. There was even one time I opened an NES and there were zero screws inside, the parts were relying on the case itself to hold everything in place. This is a big issue since the screws actually do hold the 72 pin connector on and prevent it from slipping off pin connector on the back of the NES PCB. When I asked them about all these issues they made up some bullshit excuse that these parts cause interference in the video. This is complete horseshit. Those issues are actually caused by the cheaply made third party power adapters that they include with their consoles when they are out of official first party ones (and even sometimes the cheap Chinese video cables they seem to love including with their consoles). Now usually in the past I ignored these issues because they used to have an awesome employee by the name of David who would correct all these issues when they arose. He had great customer service when it came to dealing with such issues and it kept me on as a customer for a long time. I found out however that the owner fired the dude due to "too many poor reviews" according to the employee on shift that I asked. Ever since the dumb ass fired him this store has gotten ten times worse. The waits are super long because employees are jaw jacking with random customers, customer service has taken a back seat, and defective products are even more abundant because David actually had the other employees make sure everything worked correctly. Today I went in there to return a faulty game only to be told that "the owner only allows returns for store credit". In other words if they are out of stock on something and you want your money back you WILL NOT get it back. This place operates like some shady pawn shop now that is more concerned about taking money and selling cheap defective products than actually trying to build a dedicated customer base. They just lost a customer today as at least with eBay I can get decent prices and have some sort of protection against defective products when they do happen. Its really sad to watch what was such a great store devolve into the cesspit it has currently become. P.S. Stay away from the cheap clone consoles they sell. The soldering job inside of them is cheap and there is a good chance that they will eventually burn out due to a short. I have looked inside of them, even the Chinese have risen above this quality of electronics work in this day and age. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences with fallout games. When i used to live by the 43rd ave and bell rd location the employee would always plug in an old Nes and let me test run each game before I bought them, and now that I live by the Tatum and thunderbird location an employee actually downloaded and installed a software update for my psp for me so that I could play a game that I wanted desparately to play! A+++ for customer service. I'll shop here as long as this store exists. read more

My carts I bought were dirty took a long time to clean them before I would even consider putting them in my system, lots of stuff behind the counter when my girlfriend asked to view them the employee did not want to help instead asking what she was looking for, she wasn't looking for anything specific just to see if anything peaked her interest as any game collector would this guy wasn't having it, he then stated anything behind the counter was in the case however when I spotted a title where this was not the case he said oh well that specific game would be back here, ok wtf ever dude your fucking lazy. The employee offered to take a dollar off of the price of one of the carts due to the fact it looked like a Coke exploded on it and no such adjustment was given, And finally on 2 separate occasions they over charged me CHECK YOUR RECEIPT, go to the one on bell better store overall and better staff read more

Fallout Games is great! My boyfriend was searching Craigslist for an original NES but I wanted to be able to buy him one from somewhere with some sort of guarantee it would actually work and for a decent price. Luckily I came across this gem of a store and I couldn't have been happier with the service they provide and the great products! I've been in three times now, and each time it's been a different employee, but all were equally pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. We had to swap out the first NES I purchased because the pin was sticking, but there was absolutely no issue, and they even let us try the new system in the store to make sure it worked before we took it home. When we went back my boyfriend was stoked to see an Intellivision, too. If you are looking for anything specific, or just want to browse the extremely organized rows and rows of classic finds, this is the place to go! read more
