They do have a drive thru too which is nice and what I did. Don't expect them to be fast tho, it's not actually a fast food spot. I thought the meal was good! My only complaint was that it wasn't as crispy as I wanted, i think both the fried chicken and the wrap being meh in terms of that crispy bite you'd expect. As you can see it is toasted but it was still more chewy than crispy. Otherwise the flavors are decent and for like a $15 meal, it's ok. The portion is good and it does the job.

I noticed the bowl was about to overflow. I stopped adding toppings. Talk about a bang for your money. I informed him it was my first time there. He told me he was glad I stopped by and to come back. I also was given a beverage from the fridge. I chose a Middle Eastern lemon lime drink. The inside was clean, bright, decorative. The parking lot could use some resurfacing, updating but overall I like the service, vibe. The food was tasty, flavorful. Will be back. Good job guys.

The experience at this restaurant has been very bittersweet…read more We visited for the first time on a Friday, and we were warmly welcomed by the hostess, and as soon as we arrived, she brought us water, gave us the menus, took our order super fast and the food was Amazing! Plus the experience (service) was really good, and, we couldn't wait to come back. Unfortunately, when we returned just 4 days later (on Wednesday) it was a disaster... There was no hostess this time, just 3 gentlemen, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone even came to our table with menus (we were the only clients, the restaurant was empty) they didn't greet us or say hello, and simply dropped the menus on the table and walked away, and about 10 minutes later, someone finally came back to take our order, but the biggest disappointment, though, was the food. We ordered the hummus, and it was clearly a SPOILED It had an extremely sour taste, similar to spoiled milk, It was SOOO BAD that I couldn't even eat it. We also ordered the mac and cheese bites, and they were absolutely drenched in oil The service was just as disappointing. No one ever brought us water or even asked if we'd like something to drink, not even the complimentary water that most restaurants provide. At the end of the meal, we had to walk up to the cashier ourselves to pay, and the staff was rude throughout the entire interaction. Our first visit was so wonderful, but our second experience completely changed our impression, we won't be returning.

North Avenue Falafel is located on North Avenue of course, but it's way out west around Oak Park. Has more than just falafel here with lots of classic items. There's options for both meat eaters and vegetarians who will find lots of good things. Came in around lunch and got a combo. It's about $12 for a typical one. They also have a few cheaper lunch specials. Had to get the Falafel Platter. This is the place's signature item after all, so it had to be good, and it was. I came with eight pieces of falafel. Quite a lot for a platter at this price. Lots of good ass stuff on here. There was hummus, Jerusalem salad, pitas, and rice. Falafel is the main thing it seems, but there's actually plenty more. There's side items like salads and soups. Have to make a return trip over here some time and get some more of the falafel and some other items. It's the best at lunch when there's some specials. Pita Land certainly has good tasting food for the most part. Best things are the platters where you get a variety of salads to choose from. The kind of high prices are the worst thing about it . Came in last time to get something as carryout. I got the Falafel Plate. This has a lot of different items on it, which makes it a good sampler. It's about $10 for a fairly good portion. This has falafel over rice. Mostly it seems the big pita is taking up room on the plate. There's garlic sauce, hummus, lettuce, pickles, pita bread, tahini, and tomatoes. Good combination. The only problem is there's not that much of it and the price is kind of high. Has a pretty good amount of seating areas inside. It always seems empty because most get to go orders. The prices are a little cheaper when getting takeout.
