My experience was a very good one. I visited the restaurant for lunch. It was highly recommended by a coworker that went with me. He was definitely right about the food. Good service. Good tasty food. I was satisfied and will definitely be returning soon.

Yes, yes, yes! Ordered carry out beef Shawarma, chicken Shawarma, and falafel. Loved everything about each item. I placed the order onsite and it was prepared in less than 10 minutes. Each meal included, rice, pita, veggies and a grilled pepper. Gyro is offered as minced with beef (kofta kebab). The only downside is it's a bit of a challenge to get in and out of the parking lot because it's a busy intersection.

Chicken Kabob Plate!! So goood! Especially when you don't want gross fast food. This is so filling, reasonably priced and delicious.

Kabob chicken plate is so good. The chicken is soft and fresh. The workers are so nice. I'm still amazed that the chicken wasn't dry. So much flavor and the hummus is delicious.

First time trying this and I literally told the workers thank you as I was leaving because it was that fantastic. Highly recommend this place, like highly highly. It was my first time trying Middle Eastern food and now I want to have it for dinner at least once a week. Our plate with fries and a drink fed two people for about $20 (that's with a tip), so the price is good and the quality is great. The right amount of spice & flavor! Also, they were playing some bangers (music) haha The cook had the same music taste as me and kind of made the experience even better. Their side salad (kind of like pico de gallo) was a beautiful addition to the chicken & rice, very smart whoever created this dish. Thank you. This fast restaurant made me want to try Middle Eastern food all over Chicago but also set the bar pretty high so that's nerve wrecking, not wanting to be disappointed (haa). Thank you Falafelji! Great food in an area that doesn't have many options. Healthy and fresh! The meat is delicious. Highly recommend!

They've got groceries, meats, even liquor. All in one spot. Super convenient, honestly. I ordered a hot chocolate and a pastry. No name on the pastry, which somehow made it more tempting. It didn't look like anything i had before, so I went for it. Sat outside on their little patio and enjoyed the weather. The hot chocolate was creamy, sweet, with just a slight bitterness at the end and top of that some marshmallows, Really good. The pastry was flaky, light, and dipping it into the hot chocolate made it even better. Staff was friendly and helpful while I stood there deciding. Felt easy, not rushed. I'll be back for sure. Probably to try another unnamed pastry. Or two.

However, I loved the rest. I can't wait to of back to try more things!!!

From the…read moremarket in Daley Center to markets on the near west side, Lombard, Brookfield, Skokie, and now Riverside. While parking can be questionable at some locations the regular and handicap parking here seems plentiful within the the square and the entire area has both a true small town feel and also a big local park feel with trees and flowers. For an afternoon Farmers Market there was a full supply of vendors during each of my visits. Many have mentioned the knife sharpening and after I had a pair of scissors sharpened I'm also a believer. With many vendors offering multiple types of veggies and plants there is a lot to look at. While I didn't buy raw honey (not super processed or pasteurized so most people say it has better health benefits and and fuller flavor) here at Riverside yet, I expect to need some at the start of the next season. There are multiple Amish vendors and I was lucky to spend a while talking to one of the Amish families about their farm and some of their core values. I've worked directly with a few different Amish families in Illinois and Indiana and have found each to be an unique experience. If you have time to talk to some of them or buy your veggies or baked goods from them you'll love the experience. Some people I've spoken to treat a Farmers Market like a bartering flea market but I find the quality to be high and prices reasonable and don't think that it's appropriate to ask a farmer or baker to lower their price when they have put some high labor in to their products. Hard work should be rewarded.
