Their potatoes were a bit bland (nothing a bit of salt and pepper can't fix) and the hollandaise sauce was a bit lacking on their flavour too. But it had potential. I came right before their food closing time so I'm guessing that might be part of the reason! For a mocha to wash everything down and to say the least, it was a fantastic rainy afternoon well spent!

Getting out to the countryside is always a treat for us living in the "City", yes, you may argue…read morethat Richmond is not quite a "City" yet, still a bedroom community, but judging from the cars & new constructions of high-rise apartments and traffic, I would say it is a City!! And officially we also have a "Downtown" core of its own! So our treat is to "venture out" to No. 6 Road where Country Meadows Golf Course is to see some greenery and relax under the sun! The Grill Restaurant is the Golf Course's main restaurant, busy even at quarter to two with the dining room almost full. We were lead to a table with the view of the golf course by the hostess, and our server came soon after, good service can be felt right away when you are greeted with a friendly big smile. Our drinks came, and I am happy to report that they are using PAPER Drinking Straws! Our choices for lunch: Cobb Salad $15.00 3/5 stars Overall a good salad with fresh crunchy greens, avocados, grapes, sliced hard boiled egg, bacon bits, and blue cheese. First off, the dressing is a bit too tangy for my taste, and the choice of blue cheese is also too salty. Otherwise, everything is fresh. I will skip this when I am ordering next time. Prawn Linguine $18.00 4/5 stars As you can see from the photo, this is done in a creamy tomato sauce. The pasta can be a bit more Al Dente, there are 6 good sized prawns that was done perfectly with the right consistency and not overcooked at all. The creamy tomato sauce is velvety and clings to all the strands of pasta, with melting cheese in every bite. This is an item I will order again in future visits. Throughout lunch, our server was attentive and very friendly, the floor was busy, and still she was able to keep us well looked after. So, when you want to get a "mini" escape from the "city", this may be a good choice. I am already thinking of trying their Prime Rib which is served every night on their dinner menu! Final Score: 3.5 stars Verdict: Recommend!!

I finally satisfied my craving with fish and chips that hit every note: a golden, audible crunch giving way to succulent, tender flakes. Alongside, delicately slim fries offered an irresistible, light-as-air crispness, while a zesty coleslaw provided the perfect refreshing counterpoint. To finish, a citrusy, mint-infused passionfruit juice acted as a vibrant palate cleanser. It was a feast so wonderfully indulgent that it demanded total relaxation--the exact kind of luxury a self-care day deserves.

Came here with 7 other friends to try and enjoy their Christmas themed Sunday Brunch…read more Their hostess and wait staff were super friendly who showed our party to our Christmas themed table and throughout our whole stay constantly refilled our beverages be it water or coffee and made sure our finished plates were picked up to make room for 2nds, 3rds, 4ths...... Their food offerings were your run of the mill buffet themed salad bar, protein in chafing dishes, a carving station, dessert section, but they did have a made-to-order omelette bar which is a nice addition. I would say overall good, not the best buffet option in town but at $31 / head t&t in is hard to top. Free parking is plentiful and available in two lots to the right and left of the building.

I overheard a family yelling at a kind server for charging her grown kid as an adult and flipped him off. I am not a fan of rude customers and frankly the server did not deserve that kind of treatment. All of the staff on duty was exceptional and if I could rate on service alone, it would be a 5 star. The food selection for the Easter brunch was a decent spread. Most dishes were tasty, but I feel there was room for improvement and I would have liked the buffet area to be more clean/hand sanitizers available in the common areas.

It was very flavourful, beautiful presentation, every item on the dish went together, and a generous portion. The Steak and Frites was good. We asked for medium rare and it was barely that (almost medium). The steak had good flavour, fries were good, and a very colourful dish. Service was a bit slow. Although we had reservations and the text message said allow up to 10 minutes to be seated, they weren't that busy, so not sure why it took them more than 10 minutes to seat us and take our order. There were other people waiting as well that asked when they would be seated because they were also wanting to order during Happy Hour. After we got seated, we were trying to get our Steak Frites order in before Happy Hour ended. I ended up looking for staff to put in my order despite telling the staff seating us that we'd like to order immediately. Patio area wasn't busy, so not sure why our waiter was MIA. The patio area was surprisingly quieter than we expected given it was on the Lougheed side. The music was at the perfect volume where we could still have a conversation or enjoy the music.

These wraps are absolutely delicious. The sweet and spicy Szechuan glaze combined with peanuts, crunchy wontons, Korean chili sauce, and spicy yogurt with chicken creates such a bold and satisfying flavour. The balance of sweet and heat is incredible -- every bite is packed with flavour. My son ordered the Steak Frites (8oz CAB® sirloin with kale salad, horseradish cream, and sea-salted fries), and he loved every well-seasoned bite. I also tried the Frozen Sangria Wine for the first time and it was refreshing and very tasty. For dessert, my son had his favourite -- the Chocolate Lava Cake with Tahitian vanilla ice cream. I had a few bites of the warm molten chocolate and wow... pure chocolate heaven! I ordered the Key Lime Pie, which was perfectly balanced -- light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, with a nice lime flavour and graham cracker crust. The service on both visits was excellent. Our servers were welcoming, attentive, and helped make both lunches a great experience. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

Last night we decided to drop in and at first, things seemed to go fine and we were hopeful we might finally have a positive experience at this location again. Our server was fine but spent most of her time chatting up with the table to our right about their numerous food allergies so we had to wait for awhile to flag her down for a coke refill. Our food arrived promptly and though our warm brioche bread wasn't warm inside, we made do. Things were fine until we asked to get an order of the cheesecake to go and we paid the bill. After that, all service stopped and our server stopped checking in on us. After waiting for 10 minutes for the cheesecake, I went to the washroom for awhile and to my surprise, still no cheesecake and our server kept walking past our table. The table to the left asked our server if they provided complimentary birthday dessert (wish I had thought of asking as it was also my boyfriend's birthday but happy to pay for the cheesecake to go) and they got 2 slices of dessert served to the table while we were still waiting for our cheesecake to go. We finally flagged down our server and after 25 minutes of paying our bill, we finally got our cheesecake. We have time stamped receipts of our bill, when the order for the cheesecake went into the kitchen and time we received our cheesecake to show that we sat waiting 25 minutes for our cheesecake slice that was already paid for and then was ignored. Usually the service issues at Bryne are that our waters do not get refilled during our entire meal or our plates are never cleared but the 25 minute wait for a slice of cheesecake, especially when the table next to us asked and got two slices of free cake within 10 minutes, seems inexcusable. We really need to stop coming to the Bryne location or just expect to always be disappointed and have our time wasted.
