Fish and shrimp tacos on corn tortillas
    Desiree A.

A friend invited me to lunch and picked this spot. I usually research where we are going but didn't this time and was surprised to see it's a little restaurant inside a golf club. There is just one entrance into the parking lot so don't miss it! The bathrooms are fine and part of the club. There is outdoor seating overlooking the green and golfers and outdoor seating under a pavilion with picnic tables. There is also inside seating when it gets hot outside. I ordered the chips trio and everything was tasty. I ordered the fish and shrimp tacos. Both were on corn tortillas and full of flavor! Then a side of rice and refried beans. All of it was fresh and not greasy. I usually judge a place on whether I would go back or recommend to others. This place gets both because I can't wait to go back!

Hidden gem alert! It's been a while since I've been here! If you haven't been to Fairways Cantina you are missing OUT! It's located right next to Morris Williams Golf Course. You don't have to partake in golf to come enjoy the tropical margaritas and delicious tacos while enjoying the view! Parking is ample and service was excellent today! I ordered the Shooter McGavin signature taco ($5.75) which included smoked pulled pork, pineapple, cabbage, cotija, cilantro and a sweet pineapple sauce! The pulled pork was sooo tender and juicy and the pineapple was a nice surprise--pretty filling as well. I also tried one of their non alcoholic beers-School Night ($5) (new menu items!) I enjoyed it. It was light and fruity. The queso that came with the Triple Birdie ($10.95) (queso, guacamole and salsa) was spicy and ADDICTIVE!! This was the perfect place to come for a bookclub with my friends and I'll probably come back again this weekend. It was a very peaceful vibe and the food was great.

We have passed by this place more times then we can count....and the fact is we should have stopped sooner...really cool set up...tables in or out...Cool to watch the balls being sliced left and right...Service was spot on...They have several tacos pre-made, but I opted for the carnitas, egg and cheese...flavorful and hot...great spicy red sauce.

Okay, I have been meaning to write a review for this place for a while. And Ali(sp?) service made me finally commit to it. Look into the history of the place. It is interesting to say the least. When I first moved into the neighborhood and saw that there was a taco place at a golf club I was uncertain about trying this place out. However The tacos are incredible! Love the fish, love the steak and love the chicken. They know what they are doing! The cocktails are incredible. The price is inexpensive. The patio area, especially around sunset, is gorgeous. And again, this staff. Really, you can tell that the managers and owners place a lot of importance on their staff/customer interactions. I haven't learned too many of the staff members' names but I do know that Ali does a great job. Do not sleep on this place. The locals know. Great tacos, and great drinks.

What a cute little place tucked away in east Austin. It overlooks the golf course so the views are expansive and gorgeous. They have a nice patio to sit out on when the weather is nice. When you step inside it's a really nondescript cantina, almost like a small canteen but when you try the food, you'll see why this is a must-add to your list of taco places in the city! The tacos are hearty, bursting with flavor and veryyyy affordable. A great spot to get some good food and yap with friends! The staff is super nice, friendly and attentive, 11/10 would go again!

The food was great and came out pretty quick. This is a perfect spot for golfing at the range. Would recommend for remote work, hit the range and get some tacos.

It was our first time here and we were so impressed with everything! The food, drinks, atmosphere & service were all great! We tried a few different margaritas on the menu - all of them were great! The chips and queso were my favorite part, the queso is a little spicy which I love, but if you don't like spice you might not like it. The quesadillas, tacos, rice and beans were all great as well! It's a super cute place with lots of seating options, we didn't golf but it was fun to people watch while we ate! I would definitely recommend for a fun outing with friends!

Delicious food! We tried the Green Jacket ( beer fried avocado taco), the Great White Shark, and the chicken tinga taco! Everything was so fresh! Presentation was outstanding too! Fun watching everyone practicing their golf swings while we ate.

Try this place next time you are in the Mueller area! Came back after discovering this Cafe was open to the public not just golfers, and it's delicious. Highlights include- the faraway salsa (it's made in house and a new favorite of ours), the shooter McGavin taco, and the pink panther cocktail. Other great options- the fried fish taco was solid, the quesadilla with a side of queso to dip is delicious, and really all their cocktails are great. They also have can beer, cider and white claw for $6 or can wine. I was told that you can buy a can and take it with you while golfing. The setting is lovely on a nice day. Shaded porch or indoor seating, and It's fun watching others playing golf while enjoying tacos and cocktails. Very relaxing, I think this is a new go-to for us!

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

My hubs chose Rosé Gosé for my Mother's Day brunch location. In full transparency, choosing a…read morerestaurant is not his jam. However, today major shout out to the hubs. Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

Great house music from the DJ, friendly staff, and an easygoing atmosphere that's perfect for hanging out. I was having a sober night and tried a few drinks from their Dry January Specials menu. Wow, they did not disappoint. The Alrighty Aphrodite was delicious, and the So Fresh, So Clean was exactly that, super refreshing with a great pineapple flavor. My husband had the Dusty Trail (strong and perfect for bourbon lovers) and a Coquito that was creamy and smooth with a hint of cinnamon. Parking is limited, but we found street parking nearby. Overall, great drinks, great music, and a spot I'll definitely keep coming back to.

There's enough of a vibe for this place to feel lively even when it's mostly empty, yet it also avoids the earsplitting noise that may come with a more crowded venue. The bartenders are amicable, and the menu showcases some creative - and creatively named - cocktails. Lara went with a Moon Song (rum, blackberry, lime, and honey with lavender cold foam) and an espresso martini and enjoyed both. I opted for a zero proof drink: the high and mighty (agave, nonalcoholic ginger and floral liqueurs, jasmine tea, and spiced salt). It was refreshing but didn't quite hit the mark for me. What should have been complex and balanced came across as overly floral. All told, Marlow is worth a visit even if it is unlikely to wow you.
