My fiancée and I have come here twice - we ordered in-person and picked up both times. Note that there are no seats or tables for you to eat at, just seats to sit on while you wait. Orders take 15-20 minutes to prepare, I appreciate that you can see into the kitchen through a glass window. We've gotten Combo 2 (Chicken + Beef Ribs) ($22.51), Combo 3 (Chicken + Picanha (Brazilian style steak)) ($21.20) and BBQ Sausage ($10.31 for one person's portion) before. All the entrees come with your choice of two sides (white rice, yellow rice, red beans, black beans or fries). We've also gotten a side of potato salad ($4.68). The food here is quite good! Not like mind blowing but I'd say the taste is quite good and you get good value for your buck. It's cool that for a lot of the entrees, you can get a single person portion ($10ish) or two people's portions (around $20ish). Love it period! This is our go to spot for take out, lazy; don't want to cook kinda night spot. The portions are very generous , 2 platters feed two adults and 3 kids and left over We usually get the ribs with fries and the second platter of the steak with yellow rice w beans. This place truly lacked on the customer service. I ordered, via phone call, the beef ribs/short ribs and said it repeatedly when confirming. The girl confirmed the order and after waiting , pork ribs were delivered. We called back and the girl blamed us for not ordering the correct thing (ordered on ubereats a million times and wasn't an issue). She refused for us to speak to a manager and said there was nothing she can do for us. We explained we don't eat pork and need our order. She did not care, said there was no manager and that she cannot accept another order. After demanding resolution, after 15 mins she said she can charge us for another order but cannot guarantee when it will get to us. They wanted to charge us again for their mistake and have no eta of delivery. They were rude, not helpful and this experience as overall upsetting. I think this place is overpriced for some fries and some beans. The steak was OK but I could have just gotten Popeyes and been more satisfied. They load the dish with fries so that it fills you up I would say it's more of quality than quantity that matters but here you get more quantity then quality. My family is very disappointed as we have been customers of that place since they opened it. One day, my wife ordered a chicken and they sent it burnt. She called the place to complain about the chicken and order another chicken. The lady said she was going to talk to the manager, to do that and the manager did not care. They did not give us an apology, and sent us the other chicken. I was charged $16. They do not mind losing a customer who orders 4x a week. The place is very known in the area, small but good food. The BIG ISSUE is that any of the kitchen staff that is cooking and handilng the food are wearing masks!!! Only 2 cashiers were wearing mask but not gloves, that means handilng dirty bills with the same hands they are giving the packed food to customers. My friend did take out just yesterday from this place!!! I have to say the food was really good!! The yellow rice and red beans had great flavor and the chicken was moist, flavorful , and tender. I can be very picky when it comes to rotisserie chicken because in some places it tends to be very dry and with little to no flavor. Have been a fan of this place for over 10 years, but sadly the quality of service and quantity of meals has been steadily going down hill. What was once the best and heartiest meals per dollar, slowly increased in price (understandable for the increase in meat prices) and decreased in portion size. The turn over rate of cooks has lead to sides that are less satisfying in taste and skill in cutting of the meat. The family meal went from serving a 4 person family with 8 full pork ribs to 6 or 8 half ribs. The final straw was when placing the order, no one could understand what was being asked for. Tried both Spanish and English (i get it, its a Brazilian place) but still the order that was served was wrong. When trying to correct the order, they refused to fix it and refused to refund it. The thing they call steak is more like an overcooked slice of meat for a steak sandwich. The thinnest piece of meat I have ever seen. Dry as can be. The pork ribs I was given was actually beef not pork. Disappointed with everything. French fries were soggy and the only decent part of the meal was the yellow rice. I bought an almost identical meal from south street BBQ and it was way better quality and half the price. My advice is don't waste your time with fairview bbq! read more

Okay if this was a year or two ago they would have gotten five stars. The food is still very much excellent however picking up food in person i realized that the staff is very ehhh. Not only that they have gotten pretty cheap with their portions. On a night where my friends and I didn't have money 20$ got us so much here but not anymore. If you want something delivered from here the timing isn't so bad and you have the pleasure of not seeing the staff. Don't forget to ask for their hotsauce it's amazing when you mix it with the rice.
