The food and service were both great quality as usual, but our server informed us that plain iced tea was no longer free refills. Beg pardon? Soda no problem, get as much as you want, but apparently iced tea is now a luxury? At a southern BBQ place? I know this may not be the most important thing to some, but to us it indicated ownership greed and lack of consideration for their loyal customer base. How much extra can you possibly be spending on tea leaves and water that would warrant this change? And what's the next up charge we're gonna see creeping in? In a city with significant options, it's not a good look to see ownership try to nickel and dime folks like this, particularly in current times when people are struggling and just want a good quality, familiar meal. We'll likely be looking elsewhere to dine in the neighborhood if this keeps up, which is such a shame. Sad to see another beloved neighborhood place succumb to profit margins.

A box of Kraft Blue Box mac and cheese is gourmet in comparison to the tasteless mac and cheese they serve as a meal. The ribs were the only item that was decent. In portion size. They tasted charred as if they had just come off the grill, but they were still bland, lacking flavor, seasoning, and moisture. The half-ounce sample of BBQ sauce that they provided was the only thing that saved them. Perhaps they should pour more of that into the condiment cups. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment. Coffee Shop furniture and decor just screams to go, but I write this so you don't go. The prices are high, the staff member is excellent, and the food is subpar and of low quality. I would suggest visiting Dallas BBQ instead.

Ok, now this is based purely on the food. AMAZINGGGG! I usually get the chicken breast, it's cooked on a grill, huge portion! It comes with a choice of 2.. Either yellow rice, black beans, or fries (I think they may have red beans too). All are amazing but I normally do the yellow rice and black beans. They give you this delicious sauce you can put on the chicken too - has some onions and so on in there. I like spice, so I throw some hot sauce on there and omg so good! Now the place itself isn't fancy, and the workers mostly don't speak English well.. BUT, the food is well worth taking out. I've eaten there in the summer once or twice and almost died of a heat stroke... So take it to go. I've also had the ribs and they were equally as good! Oh, and the best part of all.. ***WARNING*** Apparently, not only does this post office have the worst customer service, they started towing for sitting in your car for 2 minutes. We went to park in the lot with the engine running and there was View Towing company waiting to tow your car away even while you are sitting in your car. The driver said the owner started to tow all cars even if you drive into the parking lot. He said pay $125 cash or within 10 minutes it will go up. I can't help to feel this is scam or a way to make quick cash. We do not live in the area so there was no way to know see the sign in the dark at 8 pm. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSTED AT THE ENTRANCE!!! Due to this horrible experience, we will never be going to support local businesses there such as Angelo's Pizza or Fairview BBQ. Just a warning to all Fairview BBQ customers!! read more

After 33 MINS of waiting, we finally received our food. When we arrived home to eat, we weren't even given what we ordered. A pork steak sandwich instead of the sausage and the chicken breast sandwich. We are both very forgiving of mediocre food when we are hungry but this was just awful. Chewy, rubbery, driest chicken I've ever had. The pork was no better. Somehow dry and very fatty. It came with a mountain of barely warm fries and everything tasted like it had been reheated. We will not be returning except to receive a refund and HIGHLY recommend you take your money elsewhere unless you want to also be disappointed. Update: We were refused a refund despite bringing back the food and told a manager was not on site. I'm honestly not sure how they have been in business so long. Their customer service is as terrible as their food. I'm just sorry we bothered to tip.

Great portions & tasty chunks of sweet chicken with just a hint of red chili spice. Fried rice are cooked to perfection & loaded with veggies. Only wished the dish had a bit more spice kick as the sweetness is overpowering. Overall a satisfying classic Chinese take out experience. I'd recommend this spot over the nearby Foliage garden.

Fried pork rice and wings- this was good Portions are bigger than expected They stapled the wings and pork fried rice and it was hard to take the staples off. I thought I could just pull the lid off but it wasn't as easy and ended up getting a knife out to use it as a staple remover. Before I did that I tried taking the staple off but pulling the end and I tried several other things but it didn't work. I usually am good at taking staples off lol but not this time Food is okay. Not the best, but not the worst. Would order again if craving Chinese but I also would try other places since it's not a place I love

I don't have pictures of the crab sticks but they were surimi, tiny, and kind of gross. Good surimi is fantastic, this is the stuff you buy four sticks for a dollar and they give you one of them. Definitely not happy with that. The dumplings were on a whole different level. Unspiced, bland dough, that covered a solid 80% of what you got. Very, very little meat, maybe the size of a quarter at best to the bread's at worst Eisenhower Dollar size. I've never had dumplings this terrible, even the meat wasn't worth fighting the mass of dough for. Being so close to NYC, this is very disgraceful.
