So where do I start with this poor Service and poor communication I guess I'll start off with the phone call I had with the dispatch lady Katie, spoke with Katie told her about my bedbug situation and she informed me to get bed covers And sleep back in my bed until they had availability to have a bedbug technician come out and assess my situation for $150 fee that would be waived but that wasn't for 48 hours so for two days I'm sitting in my house in fear of bedbugs and no one's coming to my home then on the appointed time the owner of the company comes in my home not in uniform regular clothes has a flashlight that doesn't work and does not have any idea of what a bedbug looks like Bailey told me it looks like a seed or where to look for them the so-called technician in owner of the company then call the bedbugs specialist which I sent photographs Of my bike in the bags that we captured and she also was not sure so confidence level is now being crushed with this professional company then I set an appointment to actually have the bedbug specialist come and treat my home after spending two days prepping for this nightmare removing everything out of my room packing everything up putting everything in garbage bags and washing and drying a complete nightmare for two days then no one shows up on my appointed time I called Katie I called the owner the owner doesn't know what's going on Katie the dispatch lady then tells me oh I'm sorry you had to Fill out some form And submit that prior to a technician coming when they already made an appointment for the technician to arrive so here I am waiting anxiously for this nightmare to end with their suppose it amazing formula of killing bedbugs and no telephone call no follow up there's no one communicating with me nothing I'm sitting here in shock when I finally spoke to the owner of the company who also didn't know anything and Kadie the receptionist who is by the way extremely rude on the phone I don't know who speaks to customers like that how they can have 101 reviews like this is beyond me. We had a rat caught in our attic trap so I called Facility Pest Control. I spoke with Sam, the owner and he arranged for Dan to come out right away to pick up the dead rat. Then I called back Sam and arranged for inspection of openings where the rat could be coming in. Ed was sent out and he inspected the exterior of the house and he peeked in the attic. Ed, said he had pretty good idea where the rat is coming in from. So I called back Sam to schedule the openings sealed. Jim came out this time and sealed three openings he found on the roof. He even cleared out my dryer vent that needed to be cleared of all the backed up lint when he was doing his walk around which he totally didn't have to. Sam reassured me they have 6 months Warrenty to come back if rats return. I am really hoping this solved the problem for good and I won't have to call Sam back. Time will tell...and I will update my review in couple months. All the various workers (Dan, Ed, and Jim) were all very prompt, professional, and patient answering all my questions. I have set several traps in the attic and will keep my eyes and ears open to see if those unwelcome pest come back. So far I am very pleased with the services Facility Pest Control has provided. I should also add, I had over 7 different pest/rodent companies come out for inspection and right away I can tell which technicians were trying to use scare tactics and giving me outrageous estimates to a minor rat problem. I do not have a rat infestation. Just a couple rats got in the attic and I fortunately found out almost right away before it got worse. I am no expert in rodents but even I can tell when I go up in my attic it's not a major infestation with just a few rat droppings in a small area. I have been up in my attic many times and have been monitoring my attic regularly for the past 3 years since purchasing my home. Facility Rodent Control was one of the few companies that was honest and told the truth. Be careful of other companies that will exaggerate the situation to oversell their service. Go up in your attic yourself and be involved in the whole process. Facility Pest Control seems like a small family company which is another thing I like. Sam really seemed knowledgeable and spent the time on the phone explaining the process and as weird as this sounds I can tell Sam genuinely likes his line of work which is very important in my opinion because people who don't enjoy what they do for living will not put in 100% in their work. I think their method doesn't work to keep gopher away for a short or middle or long term. Understood that house owner has to learn how to set traps and keep taking care of them or install gopher wire. They came mid October and took care of gopher with gas for $250. After 4 days we saw 3 new gopher holes. Because of 90days warranty, they sent a man to retreat the gophers. Then we rented out our house to tenants and not watching our yard. We came back to check in December and the yards were overrun with a lot of gopher holes. I called this company. They said hat we have 2 free retreats so they can come one more time for free but no more, which I have never explained. I was just told 90 days warranty and they can come when gopher comes back during this period. My recommendation is to not spend hundreds for gopher companies because it will not solve the problem more than several weeks. Just has to set up traps by yourself again and again or install wire. This company spent only 10min or so to take care of gopher each visit and $250 is too expensive for the time spent read more

I give them a 2 star because I have used them several times before having this past unfortunate experience. For basic sprays in and outside of the house, they were fine. We used them once for the attic when we had mice up there. They did leave one of the dead mice in a trap in the attic for over a month and we had to call them back to clean up the trap they left. This past time was the last time I will use them though. It was truly a horrible experience. We had a bee hive nesting on the side of the house in the roof. I called and spoke to Katie, who gave me what I thought was a good price for bee removal. For me, a layman not in the pest control business, I believed that to mean they would remove the hive and bees. Apparently it didn't. They sprayed and killed most of the bees, and we had to call them to spray again and let them know they did not remove the hive. They said that they don't remove hives and Katie said that's why she specifically doesn't mention hive removal. She said the website says bee removal and that if I wanted to know if they remove the hive, I should have specifically asked that question. I said that to me it was a bit misleading. I am not in pest control and I have no idea that I'm supposed to ask if they were going to remove the hive. To me, bee removal means bees and beehive. I asked her why they just don't clearly state that they do not remove hives, if they want to avoid misunderstanding. She didn't have an answer. Her silence seemed to indicate that she or they didn't care whether they were misunderstood or not. The misunderstanding was clearly all my fault. If you don't want people to be mislead, and you know it's happened before, then just state it so you don't mislead anyone. She couldn't even apologize or accept partial responsibility. Poor work is one thing, but unprofessionalism is the worst. read more

They have decent prices and I appreciate that they automatically take care of our spider webs during their visits too. Sam the owner always takes the calls and sets up the appointments. WARNING - This company says one thing and does another. I found this company on Yelp and read the glowing reviews but I did not get what I was quoted. I inquired about having my home sealed and Sam told me that for $225.00 they would set traps, come back twice to check the traps and then on the last visit they would seal the house. I informed him that I was only interested in having the house sealed but he said that they liked to make sure they got rid of the activity before they sealed the house. I agreed and Dan came out on the first visit. He informed me that the rats were gaining access via a tree in the backyard. He set traps and we hired another company to cut the tree down. On the last appointment, Dan returned and said "Good morning, did I quote you six?" To which I replied, "no, you said you would be here at 9:30." He said "No six hundred dollars to seal the home. I can't find my estimate." I couldn't believe it! FACT - For $225.00 (With Yelp Mention) You get 3 visits, 6 Traps and about a total of 30 minutes of service. I've been reluctant to use chemicals in the house and have been losing the battle first with ants, and then later with pantry moths and some mysterious bugs in the bedroom. Scott came out over the summer and used an organic spray to kill the ants and it was a total success. No ants for months! Very happy. Next, I found some bugs in the bedroom and was mortified they could be bed bugs. Matt came today and assured me they were not bed bugs but rather ordinary carpet moths. I was impressed with how knowledgeable he was and how thorough he was with the process. He moved the bed and nightstands away from the wall and really got to the source. I've been trying to find the 'smoking gun' in the pantry for months and could never find the nest. In an instant Matt found the source which was an unlikely place in the metal joints of the shelving. These guys may be good but their termite guy, Ed, is shockingly rude and has zero customer service. I made an appointment for 11 for a property I own with a tenant. I drive to the property and am waiting with the tenant but nobody came. 15 minutes or so later I called Ed to see where he was and he said that he never makes appointments for the exact hour and that he had said between 11 and 12. Although I didn't remember that, since I had calendared it while he was on the phone at the time I made the appointment, I didn't think much of it. So I said, I must have misunderstood but that's ok. When did he think he would be arriving? Was it pretty soon or more toward 12, since I had to be somewhere at 12 and needed to reschedule the second appointment if Ed was coming around 12. He tells me, "I said, between 11 and 12 and that's what I'm telling you again. Between 11 and 12." I again explained that I understood what he is saying but that he was on the phone and obviously in the car driving. Was he driving to my home or did he have another stop first? Just so I can gauge. His response? "I said between 11 and 12 and it's still between 11 and 12 and that's all I can tell you!" At this point it was obvious he was being difficult purely for the sake of being difficult. How hard is to say, "I have another appointment first," or to say "I'm on X boulevard now driving to you?" This guy is in the service industry after all. Why would you go out of your way to be difficult for no apparent reason? Thinking that he must not have understood what I was asking because what conceivable reason on earth could cause him not to answer the question, I repeated that I had a 12 appointment elsewhere and needed to move it if he was arriving closer to 12 and can he give me an estimate of whether it'll be closer to 12 or not. His response: "My estimate is that it'll be between 11 and 12." I hung up knowing this guy is obviously being, in my opinion, a jerk for no reason other than to be a complete jerk. As it turns out, when he was refusing to tell me where he was, he was driving to my house. But for some unknown reason, could not be bothered to tell me that. He walks up and says, "You must be the impatient woman." I looked at him confused and said, "how hard would it be for you to tell me you're on your way?. Why make it so difficult?" His response? "I said between 11 and 12 and I was right." Seeing the incredulous looks on my face and the face of my tenant, he said, "I'm obviously wasting my time," and stomped off screaming that I must be crazy. Yes, I'm the crazy one in this scenario! If you need termite control, think twice before calling this guy. He goes out of his way to be difficult for no apparent reason whatsoever. If that's how he handles a simple question like "are you on your way," imagine how he'll handle more complex ones! read more
