I paid $68 for the dry cleaning and over $80 for the alterations. I think the work was done nicely. I will say I thought the waist alterations would be different. They folded the cloth in and sewed it together. I thought they would be taking cloth out, but I have never had alterations done, so this was an assumption on my end. The work was done when they told me it would be, so I would recommend this place.

I seldom write reviews but I have been going to this business for many years. I take my dress…read moreshirts for laundry and pressing/heavy starch. Over the last years the shirts come back with dirty collars and cuffs. Also, the pressing is lazy. The shirts are pressed/starched but will have creases in the wrong places. I started asking them to spot-treat the collars and cuffs. Nontheless, I kept taking my dress shirts here because they are convenient--near my home. I usually drop 8-10 shirts at a time. My last order had one shirt (Nordstrom dress shirt, about $80) with a big splotch on it! It is a light purple shirt with a chemical splotch on the sleeve. When I returned it to the counter the person she told me she would tell her manager. When I came back a few days later she told me "the manager said no one else had stains on their shirts so it was not them." What? Because no one else has complained about a ruined shirt my shirt was not ruined. I told them I would never come back and she said "have a nice day." I am so done with them. I will never return. Also, there is a giant pot hole in the parking lot I have been navigating around for years. No more.

For example, I dropped off a pillow that the zipper needed fixing and the guy said no problem, they'll fix it. And they did! When I came with another pillow (the same design, just its twin with the same problem), the lady said it was impossible to fix. When I said that she already fixed the twin pillow, that's when she finally accepted it. Now when I'm asking to her do some alterations on three shirts, she said she "wasn't professional enough" to accept them. She gives explanations like "too hard" or "too much work" and I'm left feeling like she just doesn't want my business. It's unfortunate since she is my neighborhood cleaners and tailor.

Since I ordered them online, I had no idea just how oversized they were until I tried them on in-person. Honestly, they reminded me of maternity pants, which isn't really my style! I went on Yelp looking for an experienced tailor, and used their quote request process to contact someone, Nura contacted me right away with an estimate of how much it was going to cost. She tailored the shorts exactly to my specifications, took in a couple of inches, and now they fit perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Of all the tailors I've ever been to in my lifetime, Nura is definitely the BEST. Her attention to detail is what truly sets her apart!

The guy kept repeating how he couldn't trust what I was saying like it was a he said/she said between me and the actual company doing the cleaning. 1) Your business is the front facing establishment I am doing business with - this is your responsibility. 2) he sent it back for free, which I was fine with - why the attitude? He made me mad, but it was unnecessary given we had a next step. When I went back to get it, it was almost all out, and he said he would send it back again, but again, it was the attitude. "This is the last time I will send it back for free" like it was my fault it happened - and at that point I'd already made up my mind I wasn't coming back regardless because of how he treats his customers. My husband went to pick up the shirt (it was his) and it was actually all out, but they started telling him how the stain wasn't pointed out the first time and he said that's because it wasn't there when it was brought here. They argued with him saying it was red sauce (no, it wasn't) and then another guy from the back came out swearing at him telling him he was a scam artist. We had arrived at a pretty easy solution, but they upped the tension each time to really piss us off with their attitude. Just be more customer focused!!
