I'm so greatful for FabMo!!! Needed fabric for curtains as a classroom teacher and this place had just what I needed. I'm so thankful for the fabric and other items. FabMo is fantastic. Students at the school used the extra pieces for a project and instructional tool for the yeah. We will reuse these items. The 6th grade students and staff of 2021-2022 school year kindly thank you! At Fab Mo we love everyone equal. Volunteers or fabric lovers.

Fabulous Fabrics actually go in the trash? Are you kidding me? Not as much now that Fab Mo scouts out the goods, picks up, sorts and offers to the crafty public every month! How cool is that? Check out the web site for specials sales on things like tile and household goods. I volunteer at this place. It so rocks my socks! I love the things I am able to create on a super tight student budget. My current Issey Miyake pants look great and they came from upcycled fabric. Concept! Ok gotta go... get my craft on with the goods I scored at Fabrics and More.

TOTALLY DYNAMITE! This is a wonderful place to not only get inexpensive or FREE fabric, but also a way to decrease our carbon footprint and reduce the amount of garbage we put in the landfill. You must make an appointment to enjoy this fabric extravaganza, and they also promote giving a donation to keep the place running (please donate!) They give away many samples of fabric that stores just dont want anymore.. that would normally go in the garbage can. They offer many styles of fabric, even sewing patterns, yarn, and sewing needles. Anyone who enjoys quilting, looking for a fun material to make a tie, or just looking for ideas, I recommend making an appointment

I found this place on yelp last week as I was searching for fabric stores on the peninsula. I read the reviews and did not know what to expect. My mom and I signed up and went in yesterday. WOW! what a fun and interesting place. It is great for the crafter who likes small projects. That is why it is perfect for me. I had a blast finding interesting and unusual snippets for making wallets, bags and purses.I cannot agree with Karla we were told about the donation tin but did not feel pressured at all. Maybe Karla just had an over zealous volunteer that day. The ladies were very nice. I even felt like going to volunteer some time soon. I did find a lovely piece of black and white fabric that was at least two meters worth. I looked it up and it was $50 a yard....score. I took home a book of samples. The fabric was high quality as they ranged from $300-$500 a yard. I know it is just snippets but still worth it. We had a fun time. My mom joked that she felt like she was stealing. We took home a half a grocery bag of fabric. We cannot wait to go again. I have already created one clutch purse from some of the fabric.

My friend introduced me to Fabmo and I'm so happy she did! For my $20 donation (which I didn't feel pressured to give, I just followed the suggested bag size donation at the door) I was able to make an entire quilt top and lots of fabric left over. The designer fabric is great and I got a fabric book, odds and ends of trim, some embroidery floss... It was really fun to fill my bag! Eagerly looking forward to the next month! I like the reservation system to keep people spread out.

The parking situation is great as the parking lot is rarely packed and has large spots for those with bigger vehicles. As you walk up to the storefront, you'll see through the clear glass windows a plethora of colors and patterns with some sample quilts hanging out for display. Step foot through the doors and you'll be sent into a world of fabrics infused with aisles of colors, textures, accessories, and resources to help level up your quilting skills. And within a few minutes, we were greeted by their staff to provide any guidance or assistance navigating their wares. We were only browsing on this occasion but for those in search of quilting accessories, this is a haven with a variety of fabrics for you to choose from in order to piece together the next masterpiece. We spent a good 15 minutes just perusing the store and all the knickknacks that were available. The samples hanging on the walls were inspiring! The prices seemed reasonable and with the raw materials being affordable and accessible for making such beautiful pieces of art is probably a good reason this hobby still exists. I think what stands out is the quality of the fabrics as the texture and feel of them definitely seem more durable and sustainable than what you'd get through an online store. Overall, The Granary Quilt Shop keeps the quilting community thriving with their shelves full of fabrics and quilting accessories. The team members here are seasoned vets in the hobby and are extremely friendly to support your quilt making needs. A specialty shop with a brick and mortar presence is a fading trend but this shop has clearly made its mark, has a good following among its local community members, and continues to bring in new customers with sales and family activities. For being around for nearly a decade, this shop is a beacon for the quilting community!

Drove over to fabrix on a Monday and it happened to be the Clement street fair at the exact same time, luckily I found parking really quickly and proceeded to go inside to find my felt and embroidery supplies for the felt ornaments I'd been wanting to make for Christmas this year. I had NO clue what I was looking for and I'm so grateful to the staff for helping me find everything and being patient with me throughout the whole process. It was quiet in the shop at first but quickly became busy, but I honestly didn't mind waiting in line for my turn because the staff gave the same amount of time to me as they did to everyone in front of me in line. I was kind of surprised at how inexpensive the whole purchase was, after she showed me my total, because I hadn't checked the prices of anything. Most of the fabrics was labeled with a price but it's one of those stores that has so much inventory that it's not easy to see the prices of everything if you're someone like me with awful vision and a stubbornness not to get glasses Anyway, I highly recommend this local fabric store!! It's perfect for basically all of your fabric crafting needs!!
