    Irresistible!

A sweet quilt store with quality fabrics (mainly cotton woven) and notions for quilters/sewers. Friendly service. Definitely quilt focused (not much sewing/embroidery in comparison) with a long arm machine and classes. Excellent selection of stabilizers/batting. I stopped on a whim and enjoyed my visit--and my purchases!

Disappointed that the second quilt I brought in had the pattern done sideways. I'll remake it and bring it somewhere else

Old school fabrics store for your quilting needs, operated by knowledgeable and friendly staff…read more The Granary Quilt Shop is certainly a rarity to see nowadays when online shopping has been the norm, but this mom and pop shop is still thriving in a well ventured shopping center sharing space with other small businesses serving the local community. The parking situation is great as the parking lot is rarely packed and has large spots for those with bigger vehicles. As you walk up to the storefront, you'll see through the clear glass windows a plethora of colors and patterns with some sample quilts hanging out for display. Step foot through the doors and you'll be sent into a world of fabrics infused with aisles of colors, textures, accessories, and resources to help level up your quilting skills. And within a few minutes, we were greeted by their staff to provide any guidance or assistance navigating their wares. We were only browsing on this occasion but for those in search of quilting accessories, this is a haven with a variety of fabrics for you to choose from in order to piece together the next masterpiece. We spent a good 15 minutes just perusing the store and all the knickknacks that were available. The samples hanging on the walls were inspiring! The prices seemed reasonable and with the raw materials being affordable and accessible for making such beautiful pieces of art is probably a good reason this hobby still exists. I think what stands out is the quality of the fabrics as the texture and feel of them definitely seem more durable and sustainable than what you'd get through an online store. Overall, The Granary Quilt Shop keeps the quilting community thriving with their shelves full of fabrics and quilting accessories. The team members here are seasoned vets in the hobby and are extremely friendly to support your quilt making needs. A specialty shop with a brick and mortar presence is a fading trend but this shop has clearly made its mark, has a good following among its local community members, and continues to bring in new customers with sales and family activities. For being around for nearly a decade, this shop is a beacon for the quilting community!

Nice people & a great selection of batiks. They also have a sewing room. Kits available for most…read moredisplayed quilts.

I was genuinely impressed by how massive this Hobby Lobby store is--easily bigger than Safeway,…read moreParty City, or even Walmart Neighborhood Market. From the moment I walked in, the staff stood out with their friendliness and eagerness to help. They were more than happy to guide me through the store and help me find whatever I was looking for, and they did so with genuine enthusiasm. The store itself is a treasure trove of interesting and unique items. Whether you're into home décor, crochet, art supplies, painting, photo framing, or even just looking for cool mugs or crafting accessories--you'll find it here. It really does live up to the name when it says anything related to your hobby is under one roof. What surprised me the most were the prices. I compared several items with what's available online on Amazon, and Hobby Lobby consistently came out cheaper--which was a pleasant surprise! This is definitely my new go-to spot for all things creative and decorative. I'll surely be returning for my future needs. Highly recommended!

I've never been to Hobby Lobby, but today I decided to go to buy materials to repair an item…read more I've always heard positive reviews that it is so nice that we finally now have two locations to shop. I beg to differ! This store is the most antiquated and inefficient store from the 1950's with staff that are slower than molasses. The items available were mainly cheap so I couldn't buy quality if I wanted. This is the Amazon mentality. Nobody knows quality so just sell bulk cheap stuff, and it is acceptable. I needed to replace some crystal rhinestones. They primarily only sell glass in bulk. Their ribbon selection was obismal! I just needed ivory organza ribbon. Nope, two areas, and no ivory organza ribbon. Now for the issues that are unforgivable in the 21st Century: 1) No self check-out. 2) There are no prices on lots of items. 3) No prices on the shelves either. 3) No random scanners in the store for customers to check a price. 4) They don't have a scanning system! They enter the price manually for the sticker on the item. I still can't believe I just wrote that. 5) To get a price, a clerk has to call a supervisor over to look up the item online. A clerk can't even look it up to save time. There is a wait and it holds up the line. 6) Plenty of space but nowhere for guests to sit. 7) No refrigerated beverages to buy. I guarantee you, I will never shop there again. I love you Michael's; I'm sorry I cheated on you. I will never cheat on you again. Bye bye Hobby Lobby.
