It made me feel like a kid again. Standing in there I just felt that grit energy that saddly NYC has lost. The owner sprinkled the shop with art and trickets that have their own stories and reminded me of my childhood. I only know this since I tried to buy 4 different items but they weren't for sale because they were sentimental reasons. Though I was sad I couldn't aquire some of these things, the stories he provided filled that need to own it. This spot is a controlled chaos in all the best ways. It has the New York City flavor to its core that would be missed by non-natives. All and all, respect to this shop on every level. I dropped $150 without a second thought after buying alot of stuff because these are shops I want to support. It's passion over profit (in a realistic mindset). Thank you!

People will ask "Where'd you get those?!" We wore Supreme when they didn't have a website. We used to chat with Dave Ortiz or Jeff Staple when we'd pop into their shops. Apps didn't exist. We had to physically be there, meet people, know people. F*ck your Yeezys!

The shoe options are seriously unmatched here, and they're organized by size so you know where to look. The overall set up indoors is gorgeous and pleasing to the vintage fan. Once I got to shopping, I pulled a piece I loved. I had it IN MY HAND. One of the employees, who was styling another customer (the only other customer in the store), came over to me and GRABBED THE PIECE OUT OF MY HAND for the other customer to try on. I wish I was kidding. Despite this, I kept looking in the store -- which not to mention has the most absurd pricing, even for NYC standards. I went to pick up a pair of shoes when another employee grabbed a pair of shoes next to me, bumping into me -- all without acknowledgment. At this point I thought it was a skit. I had finished looking through the store, said thank you (also unacknowledged), and left feeling pretty bummed to say the least. I'm not one to write reviews but I've never felt so ignored/unvalued in a store (not to mention, a pricey store). I hate to talk badly on a small business, especially a woman-owned business. I am a vintage shopping lover and have had my fair share of sub-par shopping experiences, but this one takes the cake.
