The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to talk, engage and made sure I found exactly what I needed and treated me more like family than just another customer. Easy five stars! This place is amazing if you're looking for work clothes and boots. My only problem with it is that I didn't discover it sooner! If your in the construction trade or an outdoorsy type, then this is your one stop clothing shop. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and if you don't see something you are looking for, just ask. Prices are fairly reasonable. No price cuts here but things are on par with the "other stores". They sell everything Carhartt, long johns, hats, gloves, coveralls, boots, sneakers (Merrill, Saloman, etc.), active wear, wool socks, etc. I bought a pair of boots here, tried on almost every pair they had on the shelf, and the staff was quite patient. When they didn't have my size in the boot I picked, they told me it was on order and called me when it was delivered three days later. I went there today after 6pm they were still open, I went to look for a pair of boots as a construction worker and this weather i need a good pair. THEY really help me as soon as i got in. im a small size for boots and they went to look for the different brand that they have in my size. This place has the best customer service I've ever received when shopping for running shoes. They have a great selection of women's shoes (brooks, asics, new balance, etc), and they take the time to watch the way you walk, run, and examine how you wore down the tread on your old shoes. You can even run around a little bit outside to try out each pair. The owner is super nice, personable, and obviously cares about his customer and his business. First noticed this place by the sign, which evokes businesses I loved in the Twin Cities. The owner and staff, as mentioned many times in these reviews, are helpful, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and honest. For instance, when I was wavering between a pair of regular running shoes and a "lightweight" pair they were good enough to point out that the thinner sole on the lightweight pair would not last as long (even though it was a the more expensive shoe) so unless I really cared about the weight I was better off with the first pair. That's an honest salesman, who puts the customer ahead of the sale. I'm not really in a "work clothes" field, but I've gotten cargo shorts & socks here, quality and prices are both great. This place is great. Wandered in one day and just looked around but I liked the selection and they were so nice, I put it on my radar. Father and Daughter operation as far as I know. A storm was coming and I needed good boots so I went back and wanted to support them with my business. They went the extra mile to help me and the father ended up magically finding the perfect boots for me in the back after I tried multiple pairs on and wasn't satisfied. They even threw in a T-shirt. I went to Pops to buy some boots as I'm an international student with 0 experience with snowy winter weather, and immediately upon entering I was greeted by friendly and attentive people, that were constantly answering my many questions about the ideal winter boots.
