This store is great, seriously! It's literally filled with a wide selection of Carhartt pieces. I felt like a kid in a candy store lol. There's something for everyone, from classic overalls/vest to the cutest pink overalls for babies! What really made this place stand out was the customer service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to talk, engage and made sure I found exactly what I needed and treated me more like family than just another customer. It didn't feel like a typical shopping experience, it felt personal and I really appreciated that. I'll definitely be back soon. If you're considering dropping by, please do. This place is 100% a hidden gem. read more

Pops Popular Clothing - Men's Clothing Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

True NY spot. Bought my baby a Carthart onsie. Service is on point. I would definitely recommend stopping by.

On franklin in Williamsburg, you can find just about anything. Come to this store and you will be happy to see great shoe options at affordable prices. I got my blundstones here and have been happier ever since. The customer service is great and they will help you with any questions you might have. read more

Suck a great spot. The people who work here are great. Really nice selection and reasonable prices.

Easy five stars! This place is amazing if you're looking for work clothes and boots. My only problem with it is that I didn't discover it sooner! They have a large inventory and their prices are totally fair and on par with anything you'll find online. Family owned and operated, the owner and his daughter were super helpful and charming. The great thing about Pop's is that they have tons of brands in one store. After shopping all over the place for boots it's nice to go to one place that has everything so you can compare. I bought boots and a parka and couldn't be happier. read more

If your in the construction trade or an outdoorsy type, then this is your one stop clothing shop. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and if you don't see something you are looking for, just ask. Prices are fairly reasonable. No price cuts here but things are on par with the "other stores". They sell everything Carhartt, long johns, hats, gloves, coveralls, boots, sneakers (Merrill, Saloman, etc.), active wear, wool socks, etc. I bought a pair of boots here, tried on almost every pair they had on the shelf, and the staff was quite patient. When they didn't have my size in the boot I picked, they told me it was on order and called me when it was delivered three days later. If you work outside year round, or looking for some tough clothes, make this place a must. read more

This store really is a hidden gem. I was looking for some work pants and came across this place. The people working here are very welcoming and nice. What I love about this store is that they didnt bombard you with "may I help you" and start following you around. I knew exactly what I was going for and I was in and out within 5 minutes. Beats ordering from online. Prices are great! read more

They sell fake vans. They have a good selection of clothes. Clothes aren't fake though. Be careful with the section of Vans.

I went there today after 6pm they were still open, I went to look for a pair of boots as a construction worker and this weather i need a good pair. THEY really help me as soon as i got in. im a small size for boots and they went to look for the different brand that they have in my size. I asked for the red wings boots and i didnt have problem to get them. everybody knows this brand is a lilttle pricey but worthed.... I LOVE this place, highly recommended. read more

This place has the best customer service I've ever received when shopping for running shoes. They have a great selection of women's shoes (brooks, asics, new balance, etc), and they take the time to watch the way you walk, run, and examine how you wore down the tread on your old shoes. You can even run around a little bit outside to try out each pair. The owner is super nice, personable, and obviously cares about his customer and his business. I love the family-run feel of the place, and the feeling of being a priority no matter how many shoes I need to try on before making my choice. read more

First noticed this place by the sign, which evokes businesses I loved in the Twin Cities. The owner and staff, as mentioned many times in these reviews, are helpful, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and honest. For instance, when I was wavering between a pair of regular running shoes and a "lightweight" pair they were good enough to point out that the thinner sole on the lightweight pair would not last as long (even though it was a the more expensive shoe) so unless I really cared about the weight I was better off with the first pair. That's an honest salesman, who puts the customer ahead of the sale. I'm not really in a "work clothes" field, but I've gotten cargo shorts & socks here, quality and prices are both great. And they have a great selection of running shoes, boots, Keens, etc. and said if I was looking for something specific they'd be happy to order it. Wholeheartedly recommended. read more

Pops is the best!! All the toughest clothing (carhartt, dickies, red wings, blundtstones) for the best prices. This is a family business; the whole Family is willing to help each and every customer with anything they may need and are always willing to shoot the s**t for a few minutes, adding a really nice personal touch. Since moving to New York 6 years ago, I've gotten nearly every piece of clothing I own here. The prices are also the fairest in all of New York for the quality. Thanks to the whole staff! read more

This is a true-blue brooklyn establishment. I get all my Carhart & cold weather gear there. Reasonabley priced and good, honest service. Thumbs up. read more

I'm going to pile more on this fantastic monument of praise to a true mom &, well, Pops establishment, an endangered species here in Greenpoint/Williamsburg. But, the fact that they are independent and family run isn't the only reason you should shop there. Steve and his daughters offer top-notch customer service and an enormous and expertly curated inventory of tough, quality, cool clothes, shoes and boots. The typical crowd includes workers buying Carhartt, runners buying New Balance and band members buying snap-front plaids. When was the last time a clothing store made you happy? Pops is tops. read more

In my eternal quest to fine the holy grail of Carhartt & Dickies clothing i stopped by Pops Popular Clothing this afternoon. I beat on my clothes hard riding a motorcycle 12 months a year & Pops is a huge showroom floor well stocked with all your outdoor wear needs. . .while i am a huge fan of Dave's on 6th ave in Manhattan pop's comes in at a photo finish second plus i don't have to cross the east river to get there. . . so bonus points for sure! read more

This store has great selection and decent prices. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I know I'm just adding my dittos at this point, but the place really deserves the props. read more

This place is great for workman-style (Carhartt, Dickies, Wrangler...etc) clothes and the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. To boot, the prices are very good. However, I wouldn't trust the owner, Steve, too much. Don't let your guard down as he is friendly but he lied about ordering me something and then claimed he "forgot" so try ww.gandermountain.com for Carhartt and other popular outdoor clothing at bargain prices and free shipping on apparel returns. read more

I've been shopping here for years. The absolute nicest owner in the world + a great selection of workwear makes for an excellent store. When you leave this place, you find yourself thinking, "oh yeah, THAT'S how you do it!" Like others have mentioned, customer service is unmatched at Pops. read more

This store is great...A true local business, run and owned by a man who takes pride in his work and likes nothing more than to see a satisfied customer....The selection of work wear for all seasons is MASSIVE, and if they don't have it in stock, no worries it can be ordered in flash...All of their inventory is the real deal: Rigs, Carhartt, Red Wing, Asics, Keen...only quality merchandise is sold in this store... Since I moved to the Northside 4 years ago, I quit wasting wasting my time on the internet, and I have bought 90 percent of my clothing from this store, and I never plan on changing that... Great local businesses are getting harder and harder to find these days...Stop By Pop's Popular Clothing, Steve is always good for a laugh, always playing good tunes, and he will treat you fantastically... Come to think of it, it's truly quite stunning...where else can you actually get all of the above, and still have a personalized shopping experience with someone in sales who treats you completely honestly and equally as a fellow human being? No where..... read more

This place is great. Wandered in one day and just looked around but I liked the selection and they were so nice, I put it on my radar. Father and Daughter operation as far as I know. A storm was coming and I needed good boots so I went back and wanted to support them with my business. They went the extra mile to help me and the father ended up magically finding the perfect boots for me in the back after I tried multiple pairs on and wasn't satisfied. They even threw in a T-shirt. I live in Slope and will go out of my way to shop here. read more

After being told "NY is soo hot. Don't even bring a jacket." and landing in the pouring rain I needed a Dickies store. Great store, family run, very friendly. The prices were way cheaper than what I pay out here. Even went back and picked up some pants and a shirt. read more

As long as I live in N. Brooklyn, I'm not shopping for clothes anywhere else but Pops. Absolute gem.

Great local business. The owner is always there and is super knowledgeable when it comes to the products in the store. Great selection of Vans sneakers, Merrill Boots, Red Wings. I asked if there where Carhartt pants in a certain fit, to which I got an answer immediately, followed by a personal selection of pants to try on in a similar style... I even got a free hat when I purchased my boots and. read more

This place is great -- when it is open. Do NOT just stop by, you may be disappointed, and don't believe their voicemail hours, either. If you don't talk to someone and ask them if they are open and when they will be closing that day, you should assume they are closed. It's really unfortunate, too, because it'd be perfect if it were reliably available. read more

This store is frankly excellent. I went to Pops to buy some boots as I'm an international student with 0 experience with snowy winter weather, and immediately upon entering I was greeted by friendly and attentive people, that were constantly answering my many questions about the ideal winter boots. At the end I ended buying a pair of Chippewa boots, pair of light winter sports socks, and Pops was kind enough to give me an official store T-shirt! If you want a great boot buying experience you can't go wrong with this store! read more

I have been a long time customer of Pop's. I always get my sneakers and boots at Pop's. I always try to buy here first and then if they do not have it, I will try other places. read more

friendly service, cool clothes. bought boots and sneakers for my husband on the cheap.

I'd been going to Cato's army navy store for my Dickies needs until I came upon this little gem. Great selection, almost every color is available and they have stock in most sizes. Plus, they charge 19.99 instead of 21.00 like all the other crap stores in this town. I'm only hoping they get the flat front dickies shorts in for summer, that's what Im takin about. read more
