Egusi with Goat Meat. YAM Fufu. Jollof with Spicy Sauteed Goat Meat. Plantains.

This food is TOP TIER! Wonderful flavors and temperature is perfect. We had a commute home and food was still hot. The gentleman that answered the phone gave great service and directions. We even asked for extra red sauce for the Jollof rice and the woman cooking was very accommodating. Ambiance is different lol it's all the way in the back of a medical parking lot but don't let that deter you from going. Stay in your car and they'll bring out your food and you pay there. We will be back! Curbside service, you can't beat that

They've got vegan options which is rare for African restaurants. Their food is always fresh and delicious. Customer service is top notch, friendly and professional!

Great customer service, super nice. Very clean if you want to eat inside. I LOVE that you can buy a la carte. I got jollof rice, plaintains and a side of stew. No meat. Everything was fresh and delicious. Cant wait to try more

So I placed an order on Monday, May 19th through the information provided on Google which states that they are open. 30 minutes later I received an email stating they are closed and we would need to get a refund from the Square app, Square in turn stated that the restaurant would have to issue the refund. Now here it is Thursday, May 22 and I just received a text stating that they will not refund, but instead we can purchase from them. We had already purchased elsewhere on Monday and just wanted our money back. I called and whomever answered the phone refused to settle with the refund and told us to contact Square whom they don't use any longer but still have them on their Google search page to place orders through, nor do they have updated information as to location and hours of operation. I really hate to take legal actions and force a resolution including an additional settlement amount beyond my $50 refund reimbursement, but at this point I'll do what's needed.

i found this place from tiktok! i've been trying to find egusi and fufu to try for the longest and this place didn't let me down. it's a small owned business from what it looks like and service was great, the man at the front was very sweet. i loved the food it was tasteful considering it was my first time trying it. the portion was definitely shareable if you're trying it for the first time i ate one order for myself and had leftovers to take home. i would definitely come again!

I ordered in Uber eats and I just wasn't impressed. I tried a lot of things from them and nothing was bad but nothing was like yes this is home and I'll order again. The egusi was pretty salty and could use more greens but the beef was very tender. There was only 2 pieces of beef though. The pounded ham was the instant stuff and tasted and felt like mashed potatoes from a box mix. The fried rice was soooooo oily. My goodness there was a pool at the bottom of the container so I moved the rice to a new container and there was still so much left. The hen was very tough and the red stew it was in was very tangy and not spicy at all like they didn't cook it long enough. The meat pie was good. Pricing was ok but I've had better.

We're here traveling for work and were craving African food and came across this restaurant. When we arrived was super nice and answered all of the questions we had. The food was delicious! I'm not a fan of goat meat, but after today I'm a fan. Definitely eat here if you have not!

They always have a sample of the Golden Bowl for anyone to taste & it's absolutely my go to dish. All the ingredients work well together in this Golden Bowl. I will admit the spice made my nose run but yet I would only describe it as a "subtle" spicy dish. One day I'll try another dish but for now. That golden bowl speaks to me everytime. I ordered the egusi soup & okra soup with yam fufu and corn fufu. Very very flavorful! The egusi soup with yam fufu was my favorite. However, when I left the soups sitting out for my partner to try after coming home from work, they both somehow became a bit salty? And he wasn't able to enjoy it like how I did when it was fresh. It had so much flavor in it mmmm! My husband loved his goat meat he didn't leave behind a single thing, cleaned the whole plate...at his fufu and then some of mine. Service/ambiance: They are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. It was obvious we didn't know anything about the menu and several people approached us to help us get something they think we would like. Didn't even feel like we were eating out but instead eating at a friend's or family's house. We went a bit late so I think people were getting off work and it was clear that this place feels like home for everyone because they were coming just to hang out and eat. Such a lovely place and the best fufu I tried (after eating it I tried it at another few spots just for the comparison - no one could compare).

From the minute I walked in, I knew that the odds would most likely be in my favor. First of all there are two huge portraits of the female proprietess and her husband flanking the cash register, in full Asante regalia. Which totally made me feel like I was in someone's living room looking at their mantle, versus at a restaurant. But it added a touch of culture and a huge sense of pride. There was a older man waiting for food, staring at the big screen tv, DANCING to the music. This is a great sign! Do you know how good this food is about to be, because I do, if it makes Papa DANCE!!! Oh yeah, I was getting excited. There was a fridge stocked FULL TO THE BRIM and spilling over onto the floor of every soda, both American and African, plus several types of beer. To me this read as "yup, you gone be thirsty after this FIYAHHHHHH"! And they weren't wrong! My food came out piping hot, relatively quickly, and paired with warm water for hand washing! Not every African restaurant is this traditional, so I again, knew it was about to go down!!!!! I would get into a lengthy description of the groundnut soup but that would waste more of your time reading, instead of driving, STRAIGHT TO Afrikiko!!! I will say that the side of spinach that I requested was so smooth and tomatoey and robust with flavor, that I was thoroughly surprised. I was expecting just a side of sautéed spinach, maybe a bit of onion or garlic, but that damn spinach was soooooo good I almost licked the bowl. If I could give 10 stars I would! This place will make me drive from Dallas yall! And you should too! Worth every single penny I spent! Thanks Afrikiko!
