Why is it that every LA Fitness has so.wthimh wrong and they dont fux it immediately. People are paying for the amenities thats a major amenity. Anyway went to the tread mill to warm up low and behold busted also the hell. Got on did my warm up. I will give it to the staff looks like they are keeping g it clean no hair balls or dust bunnies on the floor. Either way very mid and not what I expected from LA Fitness.one bright side didn't see any stupid influences at least. Update read on reviews that sauna has been broken since Covid! Are you serious!! With their black card I can use their hydrolic and regular massage chairs as well as their whole body red light. It is clean as well. My only suggestion is they need more staff. The other day there was only one staff responding to multiple people and that delayed customer service.

I just recently got an email saying that my account is past due a week or so after the due date. I…read morenever received a past due notice ever since this one. So I called my home club in oak ridge north, texas to find out he said I have been paying late fees for awhile. Why haven't I received any emails like this time ever letting me know about the late fees. Then he proceeded to tell me that the club manager will most likely not honor my refunds because I should of brought this to their attention awhile ago. My point is that I would have if I knew I was getting charged late fees. I received no notice or anything. Then he said the reason is because I dont have a primary payment setup but thats why I have a secondary payment account setup so the payment will clear. Never would I think the secondary payment would take weeks to clear to make me fall under late fee charges. How would I know that unless the club tells me. Even on the app it doesn't say, all it says is that 27.11 is paid and that I am up to date with my bill. It doesn't display the late charges so I had no clue. To top it off I only been in the gym maybe 4 times out of the year and a few months. I am thinking about canceling my membership because I feel I was taken advantage of and feel as though reimbursement is valid for all months that I paid. This was a horrible experience. Escalated situation to bbb and no response. Bad business practice. This location had weeks to respond and I got blew off. If you want your hard earned money to be pinched without knowing this is the place.

They preach transparency is their core values but make sure to double check your credit card & that their not charging your account monthly even after requesting for cancelation. To my surprise, I found out that they never stopped charging my credit card after cancelation request. They did charge my credit card for 9 months and doesn't even want to process refund or even offer credits to use. I signed up in last week of April of 2024 because their very pushy to get you signed up. I informed them during signed up that I'll be traveling overseas by end of May & coming back Jul. They said don't worry we can pause your membership. Comes July as soon as we return I gave them a call that I needed to cancel my membership because I got leg injury. They told me over the phone "don't worry all is taken cared off. Please get well soon." SUPRISE! 9 months after, upon browsing to my credit card app, I saw HOTWORX CHARGES. I thought it's an April fools day charges but then I searched for HOTWORX I was pissed to see monthly charges since Aug 2024 to April 2025. Called them, and Ms. Channing the manager only said "Oh well you didn't come physically to cancel it". She said "Policy is Policy". I get it, I'm a business owner too but damn what part of cancellation request she didn't understand back in July!?
