The tenders are really good junk food while you wait to play. The Margherita pizza was also pretty good and quite large--enough to split in half. Unfortunately, you have to be prepared and make a reservation and in my opinion, they kind of close early in the night so it is hard to reserve a spot, especially during rush hour. I didn't get to play, but it was fun to watch others play. It's loud and dark, and there is a bar as well. read more

F1 Arcade is definitely worth a visit! Great food, fun atmosphere, and quick service but it can get pricey quick. We visited as a group of four and were given two racing bays for $22/pp for 4 races a piece. The races last about 5min a piece, so you get a fair amount of racing time. Warning: The learning curve is steep if you play any of the modes besides "easy". When it comes to food, the Wagyu Beef Sliders ($24) are reason enough to make the visit - honestly one of the best burgers I've had in DC. read more

As an F1 fan, this place made me feel like a child again. The simulators do such a good job in immersing you in the experience. The seats put you in exactly the same position as you'd expect if you were driving a real F1 car. The speakers behind your head mounted to the seat offer an audio experience that really puts you in the action. Finally, the feedback on the seat and wheel are super cool. You can feel what's happening to your car in the simulator. There's multiple "difficulties" that you can choose from before each race. Each one gives more or less assistance. I was spinning out constantly on the higher settings. Each race is actually capped by time, not laps. So for example, instead of saying you will race for 10 laps, you'd be racing for 5 minutes. We ordered drinks as well here. I got the box box box. It tasted delicious. read more

My friends and colleagues have been raving about F1 for a while so when this opened I knew I had to check it out. A good time, fun, thrilling time. The place is pretty big. There's plenty of seating throughout and a lot of simulators. The bar area is pretty spacious if you want to just hang out there. I visited with a small group (~8 ppl) of colleagues. We booked one of the group areas. There were about 6 simulators and a table that could seat 6 people. Our package included soda, beer, wine and select cocktails and sampler of food items. I tried the French 75 and an old fashioned. Both were solid. You can also order mocktails. The speciality cocktails weren't included in our package but the menu had a solid lineup. They were in $15-20 range. We had chicken tenders, fries, chicken and burger sliders and a few dessert items. Everything was pretty good. The fries were nice and crispy. The chicken was a bit salty but they were good. The simulators are a lot of fun! I don't play many racing video games so I kept crashing but once I figured out some of the tricks I had a ball. I still sucked but I had fun. Service was great. We had a main server and then a few others would check in on us. It's definitely a cool place for team bonding. read more

Overall, very fun and reasonably priced for the overall experience. It's recommended to make reservations ahead of time and to arrive 15-30 min earlier than your start time. There's a parking garage next door with the first 3 hours for free so that's a huge plus for me. Everyone's friendly and attentive. I tried their green flag mocktail which was just ok and French fries were average (so not really impressed on food and drinks). Service is A1 though. I also enjoyed the reaction time wall. read more

So glad we have a Formula 1 arcade within driving distance. This F1 arcade is in DC and the staff confirmed it's here to stay. Reservations can easily be made online. There was a short line when we got there that went quick. Upon opening as our reservation was for opening time. The staff greeted us like we were F1 drivers; very friendly. Check in was easy. A staff walked us to our driving station and explained the process of "how to" for set up and using the system (gears if opted to use, etc). Shortly after that, a wait staff came over and offered us water and explained if we want food we can order through him. There was a full bar and the food menu looked good however we didn't eat there. We will next time. There was a gentleman walking around to check any driving seat and system; assuming if anyone ran into anything wonky. Love this on the spot service. The entire arcade was jazzed up nicely. As I walked to the restrooms I admired the decor. The restrooms were clean and I love the enclosed door stalls. We enjoyed our 8 race reservation. We discovered there is a room to reserve for parties. I think that's a cool idea especially for anyone that's into racing and formula 1 - great birthday idea in my opinion and I plan to check that option out in the future. The stimulators are dope and have good effects. There is an emergency stop function which they explain in case the jerking (for example when you crash) is too much. During your races you race whoever is in your group. I think it would be cool if you can race everyone in the arcade as an option. Maybe offer a discount or free session. OR just post the winner on a monitor to bragging rights. An even bigger idea would be offering another option to race against others in other F1 arcades around the globe. Now that would be dope! Take note F1 if you're reading this (you're welcome). There's a parking garage which is a plus since it's near a busy area that has regular markets and lots of businesses (it's DC so it's expected). Tip: Create a profile via the a website after confirming reservations to save time when you arrive. Your reservation email should contain information on this. It's a profile for when you set up your race party to see your stats in the race. Now start your engines and head over to the F1 arcade! read more

So my bf booked this place for his son's birthday and they're both really into racing. The racing part was a two hour event and it was quite fun and pretty realistic. Where they lack potentially was lack of servers covering such a huge dining space. I had to flag them a couple of times to get them to come over to our table to put in an order. One of the order was not put in and after waiting 20 minutes thinking it would come, I had to go yet again to flag our server and he placed the order. Because this place is pretty new, I would chalk it up to them still working out some details. read more

Visited the arcade with friends while I was in town visiting as we're all F1 fans. Clean and upscale place - perfect for a casual hang out, an event, birthday, etc. Great for friends, family, and groups. I didn't try any of the food, so I can't comment on that. I thought the pricing was reasonable based on what you'd expect for a novel experience in DC although it's high by "arcade" standards. It definitely gives you an appreciation for how tough it is to drive F1 though - definitely felt humbled by even the junior levels lol. Wish there was a way to ensure that the whole group got to play at once - or at least have been able to decide which players were on which team to be more fair; and also the ability to choose who gets to go multiple times if you have an odd number of people. read more

I went to the f1 arcade for a first date and stopped in early to grab a bite and a drink. I ordered the burger and fries as well as an espresso martini. After I placed my order with the server, it seemed like service was overall slow. The ambiance was great and I had fun racing, but I am not sure if I will be back. After my date and I completed our racing session, he ordered truffle fries and a Caesar salad with chicken... when his salad came out, there was piece of chicken with a bone in it (looked like a chicken wing) and the truffle fries had a weird aftertaste. Overall, the racing was great but the service and the food were below my expectations so I am not sure if I will return. read more

Food/drinks were just alright. Server was awkward and showed no care. Even after being tipped more than deserved. Weak staff for a place like that if you ask anyone haha. As an F1 fan, I enjoyed playing the sims. It's an elevated experience compared to playing the game on a console. Check in was generally simple, however, we arrived at the time written in our confirmation but were told to wait an additional 15 minutes as the sims assigned to us were still in use. I didn't quite like that so much because it felt like our overview time was sped up significantly. We started our "training" 4 minutes before our first game. We had to create accounts and go over the steering wheel buttons in that time. It felt like we were docked unfairly, even though we arrived on time. Everyone gets 4 rounds. Each round if roughly 6 minutes. You race against others in your party. Food came out super quick, however service was bad. We saw our waiter when we ordered food, and one other time. He was so absent another waitress actually checked us out. I would go again because it's a great place to spend a few hours with friends, but was super disappointed with service. Hopefully that improves. read more

Fun experience and nice staff. You check in and you can get 3 or 5 races on simulator. It's a cool experience you really feel like you are driving. It does have a learning curve. It is trying to simulate the real thing. You can feel the bumps and the turns. The inside is definitely a night club feel. Blasting music has a bunch of tvs. NFL games were on when I was there. Cool place to watch a game but obviously if you want the game audio go somewhere else. They do play every F1 race they recommend buying a ticket in advance since it usually fills up. Food we got some apps some lamb kabobs and truffle fries. The kabobs came with taziki and salad. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The salad was nice fresh with sone nice texture from pomegranate seeds. The truffle fries are well fried with nice truffle flavor. Drinks we got an expresso martini and non alcoholic aperol spritz. Both were really good and balanced. read more

Very fun experience on the simulators! The food is pretty average but that is to be expected.

I LOVE this place! I went as a party of 2. It was a Saturday night so it was very busy. Definitely make a reservation here. We opted for the after 7pm time slot since that's when the arcade is 21+ They have a nice variety of small plates, I recommend the wagyu sliders. The drinks were great, the bartenders were very attentive. The racing simulator was so fun, they shake whenever you crash and there's lots of leg room for taller people. The bathrooms were clean, the employees were hospitable, and the playlist was good. Overall 10/10 visit! read more

Personally felt that F1 Arcade is still getting itself organized. We had a party of 6 and when we got there, our friends were already there. No one offered to help us or ask where we needed to be, so my boyfriend and I had to walk around the very large space trying to find the group. Everyone is really nice, but again, it feels like they're still fairly disorganized or understaffed. Our table needed to be cleared from the previous group before us and it took a while even after asking before someone could get to our table and clear it. Drinks also took forever to get to us, but I will say their food was good and I loved the "Clean Air" cocktail. It was incredibly boozy but delicious. read more

Wanted to make this review while it's fresh on my mind. Our event managers were Yasmin and Sarah both of which were not present the day of. I was told Sarah would be and was our POC however upon arrival she was already gone. During the planning and contract portion we stayed we would max out at 40 people and would have the final headcount the Monday before our event scheduled for that Friday. Yasmin however said we had to have a final headcount by the 19th which was not realistic. We ended up with 32 people and provided this info on Monday and were told regardless we would have to pay for 40 with no future credit. Due to this policy or practice alone this is not a good place for groups; we do this 4 times a year and Bowleros, Dave and Busters, Skating and Movie Theater have been extremely accommodating with number changes....not here. During the planning we assumed when we mentioned how many people they would take care of the food and the simulations well the food yes, ran out of cups for the soft drinks which were included in our package and they only provided us with 8 simulators which left a lot of people waiting and standing around to enjoy the experience. I would have thought at minimum 2 simulators for every 5-6 people. I was extremely upset about this as no one wants to plan an event where they have spent thousands for people to be waiting around. What I will say is Christopher our waiter remained cool and accommodating the entire time and Skylar once she saw how displeased I was she reviewed reservations and provided us with 4 more simulators for our last hour. Whenever booking here ask since it won't be on the contract how many simulators will be included. The customer service was phenomenal down to the chef coming out to check on things. We won't return just because they can't accommodate a 40-50 person group but I was told they do have a room that holds over 100. Also for the chairs in our section we were only provided 24 for a group of 40 so you do the math. All in all different experience but when planning an event this was a bit stressful to have so many details omitted until the day of. read more

I stopped by here with my nephew this weekend and thought the experience was ok. The atmosphere here is great and almost feels like a casino. For $84, 2 of us were able to have 5 head to head races with each other for 45 minutes. I didn't feel it was worth the price at all. My nephew is a gamer and felt the same way. I find it hard to believe F1 drivers use this as their simulator as it's rather boring. It's a cool experience to do once, but I can't see me being a regular customer as it isn't exciting at all. It's a cool date idea to break the monotony or to bring a kid or gamer. read more

We had an 8:45 PM reservation on a Saturday night and arrived 10 minutes early. We got there at 8:35 only to be met with an incredibly long line. By the time the people in our group reached the front, it was 8:55 and we were told we'd already missed two games since they start promptly at the time you register for. It was frustrating, especially since we were technically early but still penalized because of a lengthy check in process. Security told a few of us to wait off to the side while others in our group stood in line to check in. While waiting, we were approached very aggressively by Rico (another security personnel) who was unnecessarily rude and accusatory despite us just doing what we were told. That interaction left a really bad taste in our mouths and made the whole experience unnecessarily feel tense and chaotic. The check in process definitely needs an upgrade. Having two staff members handling a packed Saturday night crowd just isn't it. A few tablets for self check in would go a long way in streamlining the process. The ambiance is beautiful and the space has a well designed modern aesthetic. There's potential here, but until they figure out how to manage their crowds, improve the check in process, and train their staff on basic hospitality, it's absolutely not worth the headache. read more

Having gone around noon in the middle of the week the place was immaculate and almost empty. The host was kind and flexible with our reservations given that we showed up an hour early to just hang out at the bar for a bit. The cocktail menu was fun with a ton of racing puns, and the bar food itself was not too bad all things considered. The drinks and food came out promptly and they continued as we raced without fail. The racing simulators themselves were clean, comfortable but limited if you're looking for a true F1 experience. However, for the every day person that just wants an arcade experience with friends and some good food this place is well worth it. Unfortunately, I can't speak to what the experience is like in the evenings but during the middle of the week around lunchtime, it was great. We had the place mostly to ourselves and enjoyed cranking up the difficulty with each race. The registration process was extremely efficient with no technical issues whatsoever. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys driving fast or F1 or just having a good time. I'll most certainly be bringing a larger party next time so we can have a lot more fun racing against one another. read more

We enjoyed the experience Andrew did an exceptional job locking me in the first circuit in the arcade. He opened my tab. Cauliflower wings were a delight with a very punchy Korean sauce. We loved the chicken tandoori tacos but the tortillas could have been mildly warmed. The staff were so accommodating to the particulars of our experience and we had a reset because we really wanted to eat between sets. They added a gratuity but I did not realize it until I returned home so I double tipped. Our overall experience there was great! It was $22 per person to race. We had a group of 4 racing and so it was 2vs2. We thought initially all 4 of us could race at the same time so that was slightly disappointing but overall it ended up being okay because we were able to watch our teammates race. The food was great! I would definitely order the F1 burger and mushroom flat bread again. The pretzel appetizer was to die for. Everything was super reasonably priced! The servers were generally good but a little hard to find occasionally. The parking right near there is great! The first 2-3 hours is free so we didn't end up paying a dime! Overall super fun and reasonably priced. Definitely will come again later in the future! read more

Wish I could give a better review but didn't get to experience the racing. We came in with a group of 8 people, ate at the bar and got some drinks before wanting to race. Our waiter said we'd have no problem because it was a slow night. Towards the end of eating I went to the counter to get the racing details. The guy explained all the details and pricing and then I told him I'd be right back to see who was in... came back asking for 4 people to race and they said the wait was an hour. Looking around the place not even half the simulators were occupied. Really boggled our minds. We asked about 2 people to see if we could get in sooner and they said no. Really ridiculous that 1. We couldn't play when we wanted when the place was totally dead 2. No one told us or encouraged us to make a reservation earlier while we were eating. F1 Arcade allowed us to celebrate my husband's birthday in an adult yet child-like way! The vibe was giving adult bar meets casino meets arcade but with a dash of exclusivity and class. We booked a private section which comes with three types of appetizers, a drink ticket for Prosecco or beer and 2 hours of driving time. They will serve you with 1 plate of each appetizer for every two guests. We had 13 guests so we had 7 plates of each. Honestly, by plate #4, our guests were ready to munch on something else other than chicken, chips and pizza. I would recommend that they let guests choose appetizers during the signing of the contract for private bookings. The race-car simulators were so life-like, I felt like I was literally on the road! Lately, our server Natalie was very accommodating and friendly. She made the whole process a breeze! I would definitely recommend and visit again! read more

Let me tell you something, I'm coming back EVERY TIME. I came into F1 after another establishment played with me ON my birthday. I diverted to F1 and I should have picked them in the first place! They were so accommodating when I told them what I had going on. I definitely had about 65+ people show up and F1 handled it so well for it to be all walk-ins at the bar area. We were at EVERY table in the front area and most of the bar seats. Deo is a STAR. I need someone to send me his contact info so that I can thank him for his service. Our waiter did an AMAZING job as well given that I definitely underestimated the number of people I was bringing. Everyone that attended just keeps telling me how they had such a great time at the F1 and we didn't even race. I can't wait to go back and I high-key want to have another event there! read more

I honestly cannot believe what we received for $570. This was supposed to be food for 15 people, and all we got was: 15 mini sliders 1 plate of fries (not very large)- they were supposed to be truffle fries, received just plain FF 3 flatbreads ( not on the picture, but each one was cut into 8 slices, about 1.5 sq inches) 1 plate of chicken tenders This food was intended to serve 15 people, yet the portion sizes were extremely small and nowhere near sufficient. There was not nearly enough food per person, and several guests were left hungry. While I paid for food for 15 people, only 12 actually consumed it, 10 of whom were children. The kids were literally fighting over the fries, tenders, and burgers, and the flatbread was not something they enjoyed. In addition, despite the charge covering food and drinks, no drinks were offered--the only beverage brought to the table was water. When we were leaving, we were even told that we could not take the remaining flatbread home. I had to escalate the matter to a manager before a to go container was eventually provided, which added unnecessary frustration at the end of the event. Given both the quantity and quality of what was served--as well as the absence of drinks--the amount charged is completely unjustifiable. This catering arrangement was misrepresented, and the value received was nowhere close to what would reasonably be expected for $570. This experience felt like a total and utter scam and significantly detracted from our event. read more

Was invited to this new spot since I love cars! Upon my arrival, the security informed me that reservations are required and mandatory so I waited until my friend arrived. Wasn't expecting that but oh well, they wasn't super friendly but I just went with the vibe and left. Finally, we got inside the building after getting our ID verified. The place was extremely vibrant, crowded and beautiful. Definitely upscale and night life atmosphere. The F1 games are based on your reservation slot so in the meantime, we sat in the bar area and got drinks and food. FOOD (BURGERS & FRIES) Absolutely AMAZING, by far the best bar food I've ever had in my opinion. Even though it took some time and our order wasn't accurate at first, the food was top tier, super hot, tasty and great quality. DRINKS Super strong, pretty and decent pricing. F1 GAMES I love the design, real effects including realistic bucket seats and gaming experience. Definitely a great thing to play with a group of friends. Only thing I wish was more game options, I feel like it's limited and more focused on the bar experience more than the cars. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make things better for us. Special shoutout to the man who assisted with our game slot (in video) he was hilarious and pleasant, he deserves a recognition for being different, funny, authentic and just worlds class.
