The jeweler said it would be no problem and he would have it done in a week. 10 days later I called. He said he needed to have a different jeweler look at it and he needed to take it to him in Parker. A week later I called and he said he had forgotten to take it to him but he would and get an estimate. A week later I called and he said it would be over $3,000 to fix. I was so confused because initially he said about $500. It was truly 2 small diamond chips that needed replacement. I provided him with new diamond chips. So the orginal ask was to replace the diamonds provided and fix the crack in the band. I said no thank you. I had my best friend pick it up because she lives very close to store. She brought it to me. The ring has been completely sawed in half. It is literally in 2 pieces. I am beside myself not knowing what to do. This man who calls himself a jeweler destroyed my deceased mother's ring. He should not be in business. Do not take your jewelry there. I wish I could give a 0 or a negative but 1 is the lowest star you can give.
