At first the old man said that in order of fixing the Air Conditioning problem, he had to diagnostic it and will cost me $180. So after "diagnosing" it said that will cost me extra for the freon and a couple of seals (gaskets) and I asked if that was the problem and that will fix the problem and he said YES! Well, after like half an hour hitting the "pinata" looking for the leak , he came back into the office where I have been waiting and with a horse face said that he didn't know what the problem was and wrote me up for almost $300 labor and paint he used into the system when he was checking and hitting the "pinata" looking for the leak. So, now as a senior in SS retirement, he deprive me of 2 weeks of groceries..at least! So, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY And take it to a professionally and serious reliably shop instead.

Long story short - I did not receive any discount and when I told the owner he hadn't given me a discount....he assured me he had until I pointed out the price sign on his wall that clearly showed he had not. He then told me that everything has " gone up" and that he was less expensive than any other smog shop. That is not true. I had to listen to this guy bad mouth other smog shops stating they had "ripped off customers," but I don't see how he thinks he's any different. He could have told me from the beginning that he wasn't giving me a discount and then I could have left and found another less expensive smog station since his charges were higher than any other shop I've been to in the past. I let the owner know that I will not be doing business there again.
