This time I contacted Jeff after finding a ceiling leak caused by multiple pinholes in a copper hot-water line. Jeff was responsive and stayed in contact throughout the job, while Kaleb handled the work onsite. Kaleb found additional corrosion extending back toward the water heater, explained what he was seeing and the options, and ultimately replaced the affected hot-water line with PEX and addressed the corroded water-heater connections rather than just patching the leaks. He did excellent work and was professional and knowledgeable throughout. There's a reason I keep calling Jeff-n-Carl's when I need plumbing work. Great communication, quality work, and a company I trust. Highly recommended.

After their service on my AC Unit failed after 3 uses, I called and left a message with Carl, who never called back. However, near a month after the service and reaching out to Yelp for their guarantee policy, Jeff called me. He told me they did not charge me for the service. I checked to be sure, and they had not charged. So, while they did not rip me off, they wasted my time, were unable to fix the problem and took near a month to respond to the issue. The buyer had scheduled their property inspection for Wednesday morning, so I was pleased when the technician provided with a very competitive bid on the spot, and got the new furnace installed that afternoon. Fast forward to a couple weeks later when I ran into the same issue two days before another unit was scheduled to have its annual Section 8 inspection completed. Once again I got a same-day replacement at the same great price. He was scheduled to come on a Monday but called about noon Saturday and said he could do it then, that his guys were nearby. They were there in 20 minutes and checked the filter which was very clean so they showed me that there was no need to change it. What they did find was a capacitor which was within a couple days of failing according to their measurements. With our very hot days here on the coast, we have been running the A/C all day, so I considered it a divine blessing that they happened to come before it failed. The entire cost was totally reasonable, and they also cleaned the A/C condenser unit very carefully using the least amount of water possible. Great company - service, dependability, punctuality, professionalism, expertise, price - all the best in my opinion.

Texted Steve Moore on a Sunday afternoon, and I get a return text the next morning at 7 am, asking if I'll be around at all. Since I was working remotely that Monday, I confirmed that I would be home, and he was at my place within 2 hours. He took less than 5 minutes to diagnose the issue and informed me that the Covid-era motors that were built for these Rheem compressors were breaking prematurely. Since my system was still under the 10-year warranty, Steve called the supplier, went to pick up the part, and came back later in the day to get the motor swapped out. AC works again perfectly. When he first installed the system four years ago, he provided a three-year warranty on service. Since this was the 4th year, I expected to pay a service charge for the work. Not with Steve; he waived it. You can't beat this type of personal and quick service, and truthfully, Steve is just a really nice fellow to deal with. You call other HVAC companies, and in the middle of a heat wave, they'll find ways to gouge you. Not Steve. He's decent, honest, and has my wholehearted recommendation. In fact, I have recommended him to multiple friends and neighbors!
