Keith is a piece of *hit. Talking about vets helping vets.. Spent 22K on complete plumbing and shower, kitchen plumbing and extended $600.00 for service maintenance plan. Sold my account to another POS. Now if I need service I'm *ucked. I need at least 5 other people to help with my lawsuit. The other company that bought the mailing list is no better they won't honor the extended warranty that I bought nor can I disclose it as I am selling my home. read more

We called Vets 4 You to provide a free estimate on some plumbing work. Rob and Dean provided the free estimates and a lot of Options to fit our budget. They also provide financing which we could fit within our monthly budget. We decided to go with a tankless water heater, and a Halo water system. Dean supervised the whole installation. First, the company came out and did all the work within 24 hours of receiving the estimate. They had all the old torn out and everything new installed in less than 8 hours. Dean ensured the place was cleaned and kept clean. I am super happy with this company, the products, and the employees. Very professional, very kind, and very attentive to my needs as a customer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for this scope of work. Thanks again Vets 4 U! We will def call when it's time to repipe the house. read more

Vets For You and their entire team have been fantastic from start to finish for us on several projects. More importantly, they stand behind their work. We recognized a problem with a slab leak repair they had completed a couple of months after the fact and they promptly returned, assessed the problem and fixed it without hesitation. We felt taken care of and they have gained customers for life. We really appreciate people who do what they say and stand behind their work, even when it might cost them a little extra to do so. The technicians are honest and the ownership does what's right. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. read more

We had our tankless hybrid water heater which with the help of the power outage. The company went out of business and luckily we just had their HVAC decision out maybe a month ago. This happened on a Tuesday, the owner(?) or president and a tech came out that afternoon. On Wednesday we had an entire new tankless. Everyone we've met has been friendly, courteous and respectful. I highly recommend this business. And to support our Veterans, what more could you want? ‍ read more

needed assistance with a bathtub that wasn't draining. initial experience wasn't great but when I called and complained - they owner came himself - without additional charge. unfortunately - the problem that exists is massive and will be expensive to fix - but that's not their fault. I also appreciated the military discount - though I am not a veteran, my father, brother in law, and 2 nephews are (one still enlisted) so they applied the discount for me. definitely would use again. read more

I bought a full AC /furnace system from this company three years ago, and every year I've been having issues when it's time to turn the furnace on, this year it happened again, and when I call the company for service, they told me that the company is no longer in business, when I bought the system, I had a 10 year no questions ask warranty, and the new company will not honor that warranty. All they did is purchase the customers list, but not the warranties. read more

If I could give a "0" score, I would. Most awful contractor experience that has caused us six months of unfinished renovation of damage. Three of four jobs requested were faulty, including leaving new faucet unconnected (water damage underneath), leak in water inlet/pressure valve into house (flooding garage), and cheap unprofessional shower handle install that loosened quickly after use. Eventually had to hire another plumber to fix residual issues. Requests to Vets 4 You for consideration went unanswered. Complete opposite experience from their motto "We're Committed To Do The Job - Every Job - The Right Way! It is our priority to make sure that your customer experience is the superior! Vets For You® lives up to the Navy Seabee motto, and we use our "Can Do" attitude to deliver professional services...". Appointments were postponed, water mitigation company fessed that they were to do the bare minimal effort to resolve water damage, owner didn't return several calls, texts, or emails and postponed appointments to make things right. I agree that this company gives VETS a bad name. read more

If you don't mind getting ripped off by high pressure sales people who are obviously commission based then Vets for you is a good fit. Shame on them for using VETS as a ploy to pull at heart strings. I do NOT recommend them, call a trusted plumber from your neighbor instead. read more

We have used Vets4u in the past with a very good outcome, but NOT this time. I understand new owners took over. We called because our Heat Pump did not work after all the rains. The tech checked the system and its was a faulty circuit breaker! He checked out the Capaciter and said it was not working! We were given a estimate for a circuit breaker change of $650 AND $400 for the capaciter. which we thought was Highway robbery. It turns out my husband got breaker at Home Depot for $35 and installed it himself with a U tube demo in 20 minutes. The Heat Pump worked but the fan didn't , turns out the technican put it in backwards When he was checking it, (I am sure that was intentional). The system works great now. We were changed a fee for troubleshooting of $250 with NO DISCOUNT FOR BOTH OF US BEING VETS. DISHONEST stay away. read more

What a wonderful experience from beginning to end today. When I requested a reply for service, an email immediately came and an appointment was agreed upon. Because this company is associated with a Veteran, I was sold. But, then the fabulous surprises began. Two friendly and talented technicians came in with shoes covered, and I knew I was in good hands. The services were more than fairly priced and even received a senior discount too! Yay! They will be my go to forever! read more

No longer in business. Another company has taken them over and prices have skyrocketed to well above the average.

Veta 4 you is my go to plumber and I have not been disappointed. Theodore did a great job, kept me in the know about what needed to be done and cost. Discounts for seniors and bets helps. They came the morning after I called and right on time. read more

Well, timing is everything, and Jordan was the right guy for helping me deal with a challenging and ongoing plumbing reality! Mainline with a history of clogs, 70 year-old house, and two beautiful big junipers in front of the house.(our 2 toilets were either not flushing, or barely flushing; the worst) I had just read the words "hydro-jetting", while searching online, and had my own great, but wrong idea of what that might be. I told Jordan the whole history of issues with our mainline and the age of the house. Jordan was very knowledgeable, and able to answer my questions, and my doubts.(sure enough, he was going to school for work in the field. I could pretty much tell!)‍ When I asked about hydro-jetting, he informed me of what that entails and why. He offered a plan, three plans actually. I couldn't believe that he could get all that done in two to three hours. He said he could and would with the help of another guy who arrived within 10 minutes. Well, they did the hydro-jetting, reseated the two toilets that needed to be unseated for the process, AND Jordan left the toilet base and floor of the front bathroom looking better than when he arrived!! Seriously! I was pleased/impressed! I told him jokingly, that I seriously needed a "plumbing maid" because there were so many other "small things" to address/GET FIXED! Again, the timing was right and he and I made a plan for me to finally address so many little things 'one' puts on the proverbial "back burner"!! Finally we took a look at the pipes with a scope. Clean, cleared, but also clear that I will need their services for bigger, major work, on old corroding and even collapsing cast iron pipes. Jordan was the right guy at the right time, to assuage my reluctance! "Biting" the reality "bullet" on an "older" house! read more

Jim and his crew are honest and up front about the cost of the job and they offer different options. They also offer low apr financing for large jobs and military discounts. Jim came and saved us from a weekend without water when our washing machine delivery guy broke our cold water valve during hook up. We also had them install the Halo System and we love it! Kyle also changed out our broken garbage disposal and did an excellent job. Vets4You has earned our trust and we feel like we can go to them and know they'll get the job done right. read more

I want to thank Vets 4 You plumbing for their outstanding service and price for a new tankless water system. I originally called to have my traditional water heater repaired, but when Theodore checked it out, he noticed the tank had developed a leak and was unfixable. he then provided me specific estimates of a replacement heater and a tankless. After going over the pros and cons, I was convinced the extra money was worth a tankless system and he worked out very competitive pricing and financing. Soon after thidecision, CJ and Andrew came by and worked for the next five hours on the new system and stayed until it worked perfectly. Outstanding attitude and professionalism throughout, I highly recommend this firm. read more

We suspected we had a slab leak in our living room. Called Vets 4 You on a recommendation. Julie answered. She is the sweetest! So refreshing to speak to someone who provides excellent customer service. Based on the severity of the issue we faced, she scheduled Keith to come out. We were given a 2 hour time window. Keith called me promptly at the beginning of that window to let me know what time he'd arrive. Keith went above and beyond to diagnose the issue and figure out the best possible route to take. Keith and his team are professional, reliable, and honest. For any plumbing needs, small or large, I would highly recommend Vets4You Plumbing. read more

I'd like to comment on two things now that its been a month since the work by Vets 4 you in my house. The company: easily one of the top companies I have worked with. Courteous, respectful and considerate of the house. Did exactly what they said they would do. No bs, no change in scope of the project. Wore masks. Kept 6 ft apart. Their installation was clean and neat, installed a water system so it would be hidden in a closet. Their quote was clear, no bs, and they went above and beyond to make the system look good in the garage. Rod and Eddie were just awesome and very professional. The system: they installed the Halo whole house system to help control the effects of hard water in la costa area. Now that I have had it for a month, I can say I really love it. After 4 weeks, no more cloudy spots at all in the dishwasher, the crock pot, the black sink. No more dandruff and dry scalp. The glass door in the shower still has white spots, but its different; they wipe off easily, its more of a powdery residue than hard water stains. The water tastes great anywhere in the house. Blankets smell great for longer and seem way softer to the touch. We installed it because our water heater broke because of mineral build up and we wanted to prevent this from happening again, but the added benefits were a nice surprise. Overall I highly recommend the halo system and Vets 4 you plumbing. read more

We called Vets 4 You because our water heater broke a couple of days ago. Andrew came to provide us with their courtesy consultation and estimate. Called Vets 4 U after my water heater was leaking going into a holiday weekend. This company is awesome. I thought I had a leak but Andrew tested and told me it wasn't a problem. Everything about the visit was professional and very informative. After a previous AC vendor began to fail us, we called Vets4you. They responded professionally and reviewed the mess left behind and quickly gave us a very fair price to remedy the situation and delivered expeditiously professional installation services of the unit previously bought. We highly recommend their services and fair prices. read more

This place is a total scam , they used to be Yogis plumbing and ever since this company bought them, the prices doubled and the service has gone completely down hill. I had them come out to fix my shower. I provided the part, Theo installed that part and the water still wouldn't get hot, he told me that we need to replace the entire valve behind the tile. I said let me think about it. He said you owe $425...for 1 hour of work and the shower still not getting hot and I provided the part, $425 for just labor for 1 hour... I told him I would pay the bill only if that $425 could be used toward the total bill when they come fix the whole thing, Theo said yes, we can credit you that toward the bill. Fast forward 2 weeks, I just received the bill to fix the whole thing and they said I had to sign on the spot in order to get that discount. That's not what Theo said that day...What a bait and switch company, please don't now use this company, STAY AWAY, they will charge you double, not complete the work and will not stand behind their word....worst plumber in San Diego by far!!! read more

I've dealt with a lot of contractors in my home. My house was built in 1959 and was a fixer-upper when purchased 7 years ago. I'm a pretty handy guy but there are some jobs that are beyond me. Adding air conditioning was one of them. Vets 4 You was the fourth company I got a quote from. From the first time I met Jim, I knew he was different from the others. He was very straight-forward, and utilized my knowledge of the home to make his recommendations. His bid was also highly competetive. We ended up getting a 2-stage central air unit installed and he made the process painless. His team got started on this job within a few days and were terrific. With most contractors I've hired - once I signed a work order I never saw the owner or project manager again. Not so with Vets 4 You. Jim was hands-on and made sure every step was done to high very high standards. His team was very professional and obviously knew their trade. I could not be happier with the job they did. The fact that they hire vets and donate to causes benefitting vets is just icing on the cake. Jim and his team were very conscious of wearing masks and social distancing due to COVID - not an easy job when the project involves an attic and crawlspace. If you want top-notch air conditioning installation and service, I highly recommend you call Jim at Vets 4 You. read more

We have a plan with Vets 4 You Plumbing, where we're scheduled for maintenance regularly. We have had a truly great experience with this company. Vets 4 You has completed two sets of repairs and installations in my new house, which include water heater replacement, a boatload of angle stop valves, repairs to the main water shutoff, drain piping repairs and installations, and garbage disposal install, amongst other repairs. With the second set, Brandon was able to give me a quote, then he and Kyle completed the work o. The same day. I appreciated their clear explanations of the work to be done. My Wife and I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically endorse and recommend Vets4You Plumbing Heating & Air! Rod Russell made himself available to us at our convenience (which, if memory serves, was on Sunday) to come out and identify the nature and severity of a leak that had *tripled* our water bill. He was very friendly, likeable, enthusiastic, and professional. My wife was very much impressed by his personality and professionalism, and as a fellow Marine Corps veteran he and I had that instant rapport that only genuine esprit de corps can generate, and he won our business right then and there. We were able to set an appointment to get the work done for the following Wednesday morning. Rod Russel and James Dean arrived early, after sending an ETA text message to confirm, and immediately got to work. They worked swiftly and confidently and managed to locate the pipes that needed to be isolated while making minimal incursions in the drywall...especially considering the remarkably difficult and bafflingly inconvenient location of the piping in the forced air heating intake/return box in the garage. They laid down covers on our floors to prevent any scuffs/damage and cleaned everything up before they left. In addition to the necessary repair, Rod identified that the feed line to the water heater had the wrong kind of valve and that the connection to the water heater was non-standard. He could've ignored it (I already knew that the valve and connection was improper, my Father having been a Home Builder and had experience with plumbing) but he said, and I quote, "...I cannot in good conscious leave that, give me a few more minutes and I'll make it right..." and he did. Now I had been informed beforehand that they do not perform the drywall repairs, however they do have a relationship with a business that does great work and the owner of that business came out personally to review what would need to be done and was able to quote a price before everything had even been packed up. My wife and I are very much pleased that all of the repairs were completed quickly and are very much satisfied with the results. Thanks again, Rod & James. Ooh Rah, and Semper Fidelis! read more

I love hiring a Veteran owned company being a Viet Nam vet myself. They do great work and at a reasonable price, especially for the quality.

Tuesday afternoon, we discovered a puddle in our garage that was coming down from the shower/bath above. We called Vets For You and they had an inspector out the next morning. After inspecting, the situation looked grim. To get at a defective vale, it looked like we would have to cut through sheet rock. Today, Mel Nelson from Vets For You arrived to start the repair. He had a theory of a simpler and less costly way to fix the leak. He spent several hours zeroing in on the problem. Bottom line: Mr. Nelson got the leak fixed today. His solution reduced the initial estimate of $3,000 to a little over $600. Some businesses might be tempted to stick with the original estimate and an expensive repair. But Mr. Nelson and Vets For You did the right thing. We have an old house. We will likely have plumbing needs in the future. If so, we'll call Vets For You. We are now loyal customers. Thank you, Mr. Nelson. read more

For many years, Yogi's Drain Service was our go to plumber until they merged with Vets For You last year. Since that time we have used Vets For You several times for various repairs for our aging house - from clogged bathroom sinks, to clogged septic lines. Roots in a section of the septic line were again giving us trouble and we knew who to call to get the job done. Their technician, Eric, explained the various options (procedures) that could be done to get the line free of roots. We agreed upon a course of action and Eric did a great job of clearing the roots. Vets For You as well as Eric's service and work has always been top notch - great customer service, professional work, and reasonable rates. We have recommended Vets For You to our family and friends and everyone has always been more than satisfied with the services they have provided. read more

I had Vets 4 You send someone to check out my water heater today as a yearly courtesy call. He was such a nice and friendly person, and it truly was a pleasure meeting and talking to him. I have used Vets For You to do a number of jobs and I've always been impressed with the people they send. They're always professional, polite, friendly and always do superior work. When someone comes into your home to do any work for you, you never know what type of person you'll get which can be a little un-nerving for a single woman. I can't begin to say enough good things about the professionals at Vets 4 You. I had used them in the past for a tankless water heater issue and was impressed with their service. Recently I used another company for a shower problem but was so displeased with their constant upselling (wanting to replace every valve in my home, install a filtration system, etc. etc. etc.) and ended up NOT fixing the one issue I had with my shower despite charging me for the parts and labor. I called Vets and they came out immediately...Theo was so professional, personable and helpful in explaining all my options in fixing the shower. He was able to schedule the job that afternoon with CJ who was terrific...fixed this issue in a timely manner with minimal disruption to the tile surround and left the job site immaculate. We had a slab leak and had Rod out for the detection and estimate right at the holidays. It was a quick and easy estimate and he was able to cap the lines until they came back out. The entire process was easy and, while most of our interactions were with Dean & Rod, all the plumbers and apprentices that were out were professional and friendly and made it as stress free as possible.
