I had such a phenomenal experience at my appointment yesterday! Dr. Beack was SO personable, friendly, and warm, and we had such lovely conversations during my appointment! She also made me feel so comfortable during the eye exam and was extremely stringent on following COVID safety protocol. I had had such a negative experience with an eye exam the week before this, and this turned out to be such a healing experience for me. Seriously the nicest doctor I have ever met! And you cannot beat the price on eye exams here - unbelievably affordable! I was shocked that I could get such amazing quality service at this price. Thank you so much, Dr. Beack! read more

I showed up early for my exam and they were able to accommodate me since their noon patient cancelled. Dr. Cha was very professional and answered all my questions. He didn't seem like he was in a rush. The frames and sunglasses are not cheap because they are designer glasses. I came just for an exam and was very satisfied with it. Parking can be a challenge around the lunch hour. There is no designated parking. I had lunch at a nearby plaza and walked over. read more

Great place ! Very professional and courteous. Affordable prices even if you don't have insurance. Best of all, very accurate prescription for my vision. I've never seen clearer! Can't go wrong. read more

The doctor was great, very sweet! Staff were so friendly and made me feel welcomed. Contact eye exam was fast and the dr was informative. wait at all i was in and out within 30 min. Accepted my insurance and only paid for fitting fee. I would recommend everyone read more

Lots of great selection & latest styles. Everyone there is friendly and eager to help. I left there with two new pairs of glasses. One Chanel for everyday wear, and one Dior sunglasses. Highly recommend this place read more

The employees were really nice & my gf found the glasses she wanted in no time! Huge selection from Ray Ban to Chanel. My gf prescribed ray bans were ready in less than a week. The prices are face & the service is fantastic. I'm sure I'll need glasses myself eventually & this is where I'll buy them. read more

Great place! Irene at the front was very kind patient and helpful! The Eye Doctor was very patient kind thorough! I will go back! I purchased "2" pairs of glasses! Great choices too! Thank You! read more

This is a shady business. I went there a couple years ago to replace the lenses in my glasses with prescription sunglass lenses. They charged well over $200 for that, but just after a year, the tint started to PEEL OFF! Instead of getting me real tinted lenses, they just put FILM on normal lenses, which should've cost maybe $10 or so. It may even be the same lenses that were already there. When I went back asking for this to be corrected, they just told me that it's been more than 2 years and that there is nothing they can or will do. Between me and my family, we bought about 10 pairs of glasses there. Never again. read more

I just love them they treat you like family and they are super professional and I feel they want to help you out in any way!

I'd definitely agree with Justin's comments. I, also, have VSP and they made it very easy for me. For my eye examine, the doctor was very patient and extremely courteous. I've had other eye examines where the doctor seemed to be very unfriendly and tried to rush me out as fast as possible. They have a good selection of eyeglasses. I'm pretty picky and spend a lot of time trying to figure out a frame that I like, so it was nice that the staff wasn't too pushy. The staff didn't try to push any expensive glasses (since I was only covered $100 for frames). The turnaround time for my glasses was less than a week, and they adjusted my glasses to fit my face better. Overall great experience, and I'll definitely go back for my next glasses. read more

Went there sort of in a hurry because I dropped my eye glasses and scratched them. I ended up getting a new pair that I love! The staff is really helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend it! read more

I actually feel really bad that I have not written a review for Dr. Beack yet - I have seen her for at least 4 years. She was recommended to me by a co-worker and I have never wanted to find another optometrist since. They always seem to have availability when I need eye exams, even at a short notice. They also have hours that work well for those who work the typical Monday - Friday, 8-5 jobs. First, I really appreciate that Dr. Beack doesn't make you feel embarrassed about your blindness. If you are really blind and have been to any optometrist before, I am sure you understand. I've gone to other optometrists who keep insisting that I can read the blurry line when I really can't. And come on, if you've seen me before, why do we have to start at the line you know I can't read? Do you think my sight really improved? Stop making me feel bad about something I have little or no control over. Second, Dr. Beack's appointments are efficient and not at all uncomfortable. She is personable, she has a great demeanor, and she is really considerate of your time and your comfort level. The first time I saw her I was concerned when she tried popping out my contact or tried to place them for me, but I am pretty sure she is better at putting these contacts in my eyes than I am.. and I've been doing this 15 years! Third, Dr. Beack seems to really care about the well-being of her patients and has great customer service. I have about the same eye sight in both eyes and it makes my life a lot easier to have the same rx in both eyes. She is open to that and even gave me an extra sample pair of the next higher up prescription so I could test them out. She has also offered multiple times to supply me with an emergency pair if ever needed. How great is that? I've never had another optometrist do that.. and as I said.. its been 15 years! Lastly, I have switched insurances multiple times in my years with her and despite the fact that she has been out of network for me every year except the first, it always ends up costing me the same or less by the time I submit out of networks reimbursements. I am stoked that it has worked out because I don't want to leave.. why would I? Even if I didn't have insurance her prices are ridiculously competitive ($65 for eye exam including the contact fitting!). P.S. Her assistants have also been really great about scheduling and providing me with itemized receipts as needed. If only I could find a PCP and dentist like her... read more

Dr. Baeck is wonderful, very personable and knowledgeable. The front desk staff is pleasant and efficient. I was in and out relatively quickly, but felt that all of my questions and needs were attended to. When I moved cities and misplaced my newly-written prescription, the office was able to quickly get me a copy. Great! If I lived in San Diego again, I would absolutely make Dr. Baeck my primary optometrist. read more

I've been going to Eye World for 4 years now and I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! Dr. Janet Beack is a super sweet and knowledgeable optometrist. It's great how they have later hours and weekend appointments available for people who work the M-F 8-5p schedule, and they're always very welcoming to any questions or concerns! I've gone in for quick glasses adjustments or asked about different contact brands. The staff there are all great. Would highly recommend! read more

Customer service was great! The doctor really knew what she was doing, she was skilled, courteous, personable and professional. The guy up front was the same. They had a diverse selection of frames. I HIGHLY reccommend this optometrist. read more

I needed to get an eye exam and called around and this place was the most affordable and they got me in the same day. Dr. Beack is very knowledgeable and professional and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was going to wait a week and pay almost twice somewhere else and I'm glad I didn't! Parking is difficult in the afternoon, but what can you do? read more

Their website is a bit outdated... but just as you don't judge a book by it's cover, don't let their website fool you. I was completely satisfied with their excellent customer service and their level of expertise. I remember coming here more than 10 years ago when I was still in school. I've been using the same pair for the past ten years and I thought it was about time I got a new one. Dr. Janet was very thorough and patient with me during the examination. I know I'm super picky but she took the time to carefully explain everything and made sure I was happy. After the exam, the staff helped me select a frame. I have a pretty big face and finding a pair that fits my face is not easy. But once again their staff was super courteous and helped me to try on many different glasses to find a pair that actually fits my face. The staff also recommended getting some coatings. At first I thought she was just trying to sell me something I don't need, but she explained in detail what they do and how they would help me. She seemed very knowledgeable in what she was offering. I have really bad astigmatism and the coatings actually did help a lot with reflections and glares at night. When I compare my old and my new one, I can't believe I wore that old one for that long. I was so happy with the new glasses that I went back and got prescription sunglasses. The staff also gave me free contacts to try while I was there. I tried the contacts but my eyes are too sensitive or something and I can't get used to wear contacts. I really appreciated their offer though. I hope my new glasses and sun glass lasts longer than my old one, but if I ever need new glasses, I know where to come. I highly recommend this place! And thank you Eyeworld! read more

****Warning: Absolutely fantastic customer service while you are there. BUT BE PREPARED for sticker shock on glasses. The very reasonable exam is a lead in for a car payment or two on the purchase glasses. They dont put any prices on the glasses and, they help you to pick them out. When you get to the counter, you find what you like and what you need with scratch covers, bi-focals, tints etc could run you upwards of $500-over $700. I LOVED the service - so kudos for that attention but Glasses should not be two car payments. The mark-up is very high.Just dont be afraid to tell them - "This is too much." read more

I picked up my glasses today (2 days later!) I love them! I got transitional lens, they dont get to dark & they transition quickly. The icing on the cake. Great overall experience. read more

Found this place soley from yelp and very happy I came here. My previous eye dr was very nice but her selection of glasses were minimal with name brands ending at fendi and coach ... Well I'm a Chanel/Gucci kinda of girl and My insurance pays for $150 of glasses so I thought I come here and it's only a block from my work! They stay open till 6 and open on Saturdays which works with my work schedule . The wait is minimal and the selection of glasses/sunglasses were all the brands I like . The dr was very nice and low pressure . She insisted I try on a few contacts for a week before ordering . She said if I ever need sample contacts in the future because I run out , come on bye shell be happy to help me. The best thing even though I had insurance I always ended up paying over $100 for the exam And contacts after co pays with my previous dr . Well I only paid $20 and when I went back to order contacts I got two sets of 6 month supples of contacts and only paid $14. My old dr I would take the prescription to Walmart but looks like her prices may be cheaper . I also ended up finding out that two very good friends of mine use her as well which made it a feel good process. One word of warning is the place is hard to fine. It's in the shopping center across from pacific honda . The staff doesn't speak the best English but the dr is full on Americanized. Nice younger girl. I'm so happy thanks yelp. Btw I have Vsp . read more

Best Optometrist I have ever had. Also, the cheapest for eye exam. They beat Costco and walmart prices. Not only that, the optometrist knows what she is doing. She addresses any concerns you have and takes the time to explain everything she is doing. She and the staff there are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Eyeworld. I also have been to the one located in Zion. They are just as thorough and friendly. Either location, you can't go wrong. read more

Today was my first time in the office and as soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I had appointment and I did. I had called a few weeks ago to schedule, and my schedule kept changing so I had to reschedule a few times. Nevertheless, the receptionist and person who rescheduled my appointment was very courteous on the phone. While I was waiting for the doctor to finish with the patient before me, the receptionist took my glasses that I was wearing and looked at the power, then cleaned it in a solution and then noticed that the little screws in the glasses were a little loose. She then tightened it for me-which is a plus cuase i don't have those tiny screw drivers..I was then able to look around at the glasses they offer and noticed that they have a bigger selection than Walmart. I was then greeted by the doctor, Dr. Janet Beack. She was very knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. She performed the tests on my eyes and gave me some contacts I can wear out after the exam. I will definitely be coming here again and telling my friends how great this place is :) Thanks! read more

After noticing a little blurriness here and there, I decided to go get my eyes checked for the first time in awhile. Having pretty much no idea what I was doing, I found Eye World through Yelp as I was wanting to avoid the bigger name places to save some money. Like many here, I was incredibly pleased at how easy the staff made the experience. The Dr. was very friendly and patient while walking me through the exam and eye health check. She clearly explained the results, answered any questions, and the improvement in sharpness in the end was excellent. The staff helped me pick out some lenses and frames, and even without vision insurance, the price for the whole thing was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them. read more

I believe eyecare is of first and foremost importance; frames are secondary. While I liked my previous optometrist, the selection of frames left a lot to be desired. I'll be honest by acknowledging stylish frames are important to me too. Because the eyecare provided was fantastic, my compromise was to go someplace else for frames. This went on for years. Truth be told, it was a hassle not being able to pick out frames in the same visit. Fast forward to EyeWorld Optometry. As it turns out, there is no need for compromise. Dr. Beack is personable and professional. Her staff is friendly and very helpful. My eyecare needs are taken care of in one place. I've got some new specs and loving it!. This place is a great find! read more

I came in to Eye World with a prescription from my optometrist. Matthew was wonderful about looking up my insurance coverage and helping me make decisions about lens. He was extremely patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. The optical shop at Eye World has the best selection of designer frames I've seen anywhere. They even have Chanel and Gucci! I highly recommend Eye World to anyone looking for professional service and great, fashionable glasses. read more

This place is worth it. I have an extremely difficult prescription that many doctors haven't been able to deal well with. I specifically came in for new glasses. I explained what I needed and I LOVE my new glasses. I even wore them to the fair! My lenses are +6.50. That's pretty high. The lack of a star is because the parking is a nightmare. If you go on a weekday it's probably better! read more

The optometrist was lovely, sweet, and knowledgable. The staff was great. The eye exam was supposed to be $50, glasses = $50, and lenses = $60. However, there was a promotion. Because I got the glasses with them, the eye exam came out to be $10 only. So my total came out to 120$. Super cheap! read more

I initially went to this branch, prescription in hand, to get some new glasses. They had a great selection but not exactly what I wanted. The owner recommended me to their other location in Zion Market. I found the glasses I was looking for and they got it to me within the week. The glasses were a bit loose and I went back to have it tightened. They were still loose so I went back a second time. The gentleman working there was very accommodating and helpful both times. Thanks Eye World! read more

I couldn't have asked for better service than what I had received at Eye World. Dr. Cha was very nice and laid back. What a humble and friendly person he is. Irene was very sweet and kind. She helped me get comfortable and made sure that I was safe by literally standing by my side and helping sit up and down, since I had sustained a leg and back injury in a car accident. Matthew was cool and helpful. And the eye exam for both glasses and contacts was only $65!!! You can't beat that since I have no insurance. Thanks again guys! You guys stay amazing people! read more
