It's one of those feelings where you're like this place has GOOD BONES. More importantly, if it ain't broke don't fix it. When you walk in you're greeted by the receptionist (his wife I think). She gets you checked in and you wait in the "front parlor", for them to call you back. When I was taken back to the office, I was reminded why I love coming here. The huge eye machine they use is my favorite color pink and it takes me to a place of shiny and new COULD NEVER!! Dr. Tiwari is a great listener. I never feel as if he's rushing, he takes his time to converse with you and go over your exam thoroughly. We always have wonderful conversations, and I feel comfortable asking him anything. The front desk staff were rude, dismissive, and showed zero compassion toward patients. What made it worse was the blatant racism. Staff members were visibly unwelcoming toward Asian and Muslim patients, and I personally witnessed them mocking ethnic names -- laughing among themselves in a way that was humiliating and completely unprofessional. This is a medical office, not a place where patients should have to tolerate discrimination. On top of that, their appointment policy is absurd. If you are even five minutes late -- despite traffic, parking, or any other reasonable circumstance -- they will cancel your appointment on the spot and move on without any grace or understanding. No call, no warning, no flexibility whatsoever. This place is not a welcoming environment. The behavior of the staff is harassing, disrespectful, and frankly unacceptable for any business -- let alone a healthcare provider. After 7 weeks and sending back the sunglasses 2 times since they messed it up, they called saying it is finally all fixed and corrected. I come to pick it up, and the Oakley lenses I ordered for my OAKLEY FRAMES were the cheaper knock off ones that they make. I ordered these sunglasses to replace my old ones and to get ready for a trip, but apparently 7 weeks is not enough time to properly make glasses. Even worse, I have reason to believe that at worst, they are scamming customers, or at best, just incredibly incompetent. The reason they say it took so long to manufacture was because somehow between the time I paid for my glasses and now MyEyeDr discontinued (NOT OAKLEY) the sunglasses I ordered, and their system wouldnt let them order the right lenses. Instead of calling to let me know, they decided to just change my order, make a new invoice, and give me the wrong lense color AND lesser quality lense. This version would have been cheaper for them to make and let them take in more profit. They claim to not know that this had happened, but the way invoices work is that one of them needs to create, submit, approve, and then send that invoice to a lab to make. A lab would NOT be making new invoices, only suggestions. This means they either forgot to call, which means they lied when they say they didn't notice the change, or that they knew, but wanted to pocket some of the difference. This continues to now as of writing where I just realized they have done the SAME THING for another pair of glasses I just got from them. They gave me inferior, non oakley lenses for a pair of transition oakley glasses I ordered. At this point, I am considering calling the BBB to get something actually done, since all I want now is my time and money back, but even though they can charge it to me instantly it will take 2 weeks to get my money back apparently. And I know they will never do anything to make up for the lost time. BUYER BEWARE! Ive shopped at MyEyeDr at nearly half a dozen different locations for half a decade now, and I will NEVER be going back again given how incredibly incompetent the staff are, them lying or attempting to proactively scam me out of eye wear, and the incredible indifference the staff have about the situation and being able to mess even the simple things up like putting a phone on hold or just emailing me my prescription. But if waiting 7 weeks to get the wrong glasses and also overpaying for it I would definitely recommend them.
