I went to the Eyemart in Midlothian yesterday, July 14th. And oh my goodness not sure how I never knew about this place before! Exceptional customer service, they make you feel like home. Professional and very quick. I could not believe my glasses were ready in less than an hour!!! I got a pair of tinted sunglasses and a pair of regular glasses. Using my insurance I got the second pair for free! Totally recommend them. Not sure about other locations but the Midlothian one is awesome! I'm telling you and everyone I know. They have their own in-house laboratory. Oh, and they give this super cool glasses case that's so easy to open and close. I got a Michael Kors frame for under $130 that my insurance covered, and it came in this beautiful case with 2 years warranty. Million stars!! read more

This location has an eye doctor next door who took me in immediately for an exam. In an hour and a half, literally on my lunch break, I got an eye exam and two new pair of glasses. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient while we looked at several options. I never felt like she was pushing to upsell something. Went to our drs and my husband and I both got new eye prescriptions. We got prices from the drs office for glasses but felt it was overpriced. We went to EyeMart Express on Midlothian. We waited the normal time and was then serviced by Daniel. I admit I had a hard time choosing new frames. Daniel was very patient with my husband and I. My husband was easy. Two frames picked and done. Well, I had probably narrowed my choice down to ten pairs. A lot of trying on and striking out. Daniel was so helpful in giving me advice and pointers on my choice. I highly recommend Daniel and suggest if you need new glasses and want an honest opinion, go see Daniel. This is my go-to place for eyeglasses. Using their BOGO offer, I got two very nice pair of glasses with full 1-year warranty coverage for high definition lens and frame for $100 less than I would have gotten using my insurance at the three places I visited where I would have gotten only one pair with cheaper frame And weaker warranty. Their frame selection was better as well, and the prices were much better too. Finally, the service was much better. At the other places, people were friendly until I couldn't easily decide on the frame, and didn't immediately buy, when they became impatient. The folks at eyemart never got impatient with me even when I didn't buy until I came back the third time. They were patient and seen very interested in making sure I got frames I really liked and worked as a great team. My kind of place! read more

Came in while on vacation when my very old pair of eyeglasses broke. This very knowledgeable and professional staff members were able to take my eyeglass prescription from my doctor at home and made new lenses for me. They helped me to pick out new, pretty frames and I got a second pair, as a back-up, for free! I usually have a lot of difficulty fitting glasses, but the technician here was very skillful and did a great job. Rating pretty low because I came here 4 years ago to try a new pair instead of buying glasses from my regular optometrist. We were convinced and opted to spend extra for the anti-glare film on the lenses, and another addition i cant remember. Fast forward some years later I had some heightened irritation and strain from my glasses, yet Ive worn them for years and have an astigmatism so didn't think anything of it. Stop in a random Target optical to get a slight adjustment and cleaning and they informed me the anti-glare product was only applied on ONE lens. I'm very nearsighted and don't use contacts so I was pissed. Not sure if they have new management but obviously they push and rush on commission and do a poor job for an already pricey necessity like glasses. Now i know to avoid these retail places and stick to a smaller practice or my optometrist. read more

I learned about this place from my sister-in-law and thought I'd check them out. I'm so glad I did! They have a really great selection of frames and can finish your eyeglasses in an hour. Mine were complete in 15 MINUTES! If you're looking for high end brands, they don't have those. I think the most expensive pair of frames I saw were maybe $89. They have really cute frames for even $20! AND they have deals on two pair! This is a great place for families or anyone on a budget. Customer service is exceptional, as well. read more

We visited several places before ending up here. Immediately we were struck at the professionalism and kindness of the staff. We weren't ready to buy just yet and that was no problem here. We were still treated with respect and were given the time to look at frames and then get a write up of what our cost would be. We went back a few weeks later and again, nicest people ever! We got glasses this time and it was an amazing experience! Brittney (so?) helped us and she was so very patient with us and even called our insurance to verify that all that we needed was covered. Glasses were ready in about an hour. I wish I had the other ladies name too! She remembered us from our first time in the store weeks ago and was so nice. An overall "I dont care" attitude, along with employees complaining about a 20 cents per hour raise, has completely turned me off. Ni was SUPER helpful in helping me order two new pairs of glasses. GREAT price point. Ordering was painless, however picking them up was a different situation. Someone who is just there to pick up glasses that were sitting in the counter to be picked should not have to wait behind people who are picking new glasses. It took less time to pick out my glasses than to pick them up. Bad system. When they are busy they should have one person dedicated only to handing out already made glasses and other people helping people ordering glasses. The people who work there are VERY nice when you are ordering from them...not as much when you are trying to pick up something ordered already. read more

My first visit, ordered 2 pair of glasses, wonderful help at the counter, they were super busy so got extra help from the lab to serve, fantastic price point, one pair could be made right away, the other needed to order a special lens, no problem. Wanted to give them 5 stars, they were so upbeat and nice. But then they had troubles, when the frame broke while they were making my glasses, they called to tell me, and said they had the same frame in a darker color, would that be OK, sure - got there and it was actually different with bling on the sides. When I rejected the new frame the counter help said well that's why you need to see and approve the frame, which I wasn't asked to do - and then grumbled to me that the store would have to eat the cost. Sigh. I guess it's easy to be upbeat and daisy-fresh when I'm buying something, but the key to great customer service is how you handle issues. So they had to order in the frames, the rest went alright, some delay but I got what I ordered. Still maybe 3 stars because of the original service and price point. Then one pair, the lens fell out and the screw was cross-threaded so we couldn't fix it ourselves, another trip back to the store. The other pair - one of the nose pieces broke off after about a month, another trip back to the store, so overall, it could have gone better. read more

I would NOT recommend this place. I got a pair of glasses from there & the screw on the side of one of my lenses kept falling out & I had to keep going back to getting it fixed & they told me that it wasn't striped. I almost lost the screw one time at work. I can't see without my glasses. They're poorly made & don't take the time to get them straight in there lense lab. I ordered my glasses from there & by the time my mom & I could get to our next place while waiting on them they texted her & told her they were ready. I dread making a visit to the eye doctor. Because I know what always follows...a pile of money for new eye glasses. Decided to make a visit to Eyemart Express. Super great deals advertised. 2 pair for $29. Wow! I was excited! So after getting our prescriptions for my daughter and I, we went into the store. The sales staff were super nice and knowledgeable. However after discussing our needs with the staff, I learned that we would also be charged an additional cost for the lens and tinting on the sunglasses. The sales associate was patient and spent a good amount of time running figures to find out the best deal for me. She carefully explained my options and I ordered 2 pair of regular glasses and 2 sunglasses. The total was $400. Our glasses were ready that evening about 6:30. I returned the following day for pickup. I was kindly greeted and our glasses looked great and came in sturdy protective cases with lens cleaning cloths. Although I spent much more than I had originally thought, it is much cheeper than I usually pay. I would recommend Eyemart Express to anyone. read more
