I would like to give a personal, review on Keawna or Kiana. She always, greets me when I enter the store. And she, has a pleasant and engaging personality. I truly, appreciated her assistance with helping me to find the right frames to fit my face. I can tend to be very, undecided. However she was more than patient with me! And when I desired to have my lens match my frame which was champagne. I was so thrilled to see how well they turned out. They deliver as promise with pick up times for your glasses. So chaotic. Doesn't accept my city insurance. Asked when I first spoke to doctor and they weren't sure if they accepted it, said they'd call me back before my appt to confirm and never did. I called today (day before my appt) and after being directed to call Colerain office they confirmed they don't accept it. Then to cancel I had to call back was told I can't cancel at the office of my appt but had to call colerain back again to cancel. So disorganized. read more

Not a very positive experience but at least the eye exam was quick! We had results and a prescription within the hour when we walked in so that's great. My s/o's last name got misspelled once on the receipt and then misspelled differently on the prescription so we hope we won't run into problems when we try to get him frames. Also, we've called to have the prescription faxed and they didn't pick up the phone for days, we had to request in person. But they did not have access to his prescription since the Dr. is on vacation. They did not update their voicemail to let clients know. We will try again next week but after that, I'm going to recommend my s/o to my family's optometrist and lens provider for all of his eye care needs. :( read more

Before you yell at the person making your glasses, you should know they only get $9 an hour, full time. I have never had anything less than excellent service from everyone who works there. I'm really picky and they never complain no matter how many times I return for adjustments. (and it's a lot). read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I normally go to Wing Eyecare for the past 10 years. They couldn't get me in so I called EyeMart Express because I like the area where you buy glasses. My appointment was at 10:15 am. They did not call me back until 11:12 am. No explanation or anything until I said something to them about my wait. They said they had an emergency and that was the reason for the wait. NEVER in my life have I waited that long for an eye exam. I asked if it was too late to cancel my appointment, and she said she had already billed my insurance, so yeah I'm stuck. Just do yourself a favor if you have eye insurance and pick a actual doctor and not an add on to a eyeglass mart. read more

Went there for an evaluation through the VA, Dec. 21, 2022. He never turned in my evaluation even though he was contacted multiple times by phone and email.  On January 10 he finally said he would be submitting my review on January 11th, he didn't do it. On January 19th I was informed he didn't submit his review and now I have to go to a different doctor in Louisville KY. These doctors make extra money doing evaluation for not only the VA but works comp., etc. I will be making a formal complaint and hopefully these type doctors who make easy extra money off taxpayers will be removed. His office is inside an Eyemart Express but there are no signs indicating this. He may be qualified to wtite a quick scripe for eye glasses in a hour but wouldn't go there otherwise.  He was dismissive when I became upset over how bad my vision had become and about becoming blind in the future. He made re-do a test and stated even if i think i saw a flashing light i should click the button. I see flashes of light constantly so if it isn't a clear pin point of light i don't know if it's really there. read more

Did not buy my glasses here but did go to Dr. Micah who has his office in the back of this location. Liz, his assistant, was personable and quickly moved through the paperwork and pre-testing. Dr. Micah was great and helped with getting the correct type of contacts for my eyes. I would highly recommend his office. read more

I went back to this location to buy a second pair driving glasses (I got my 1st pair here a little over a year ago).. The staff did a great job of helping find the right glasses for me and made sure the frames fit correctly. I feel I get excellent service from this store. (it also helped that I have great vision insurance so that I can afford to buy glasses without worrying about the price) I saw Dr Micah last year, and was very pleased to hear him say he would give me a little extra help with my eye exam. I explained I have "Tunnel Vision" and that if my answers were conflicting it would be due to blind spots. He worked through my issues and I got the Rx I needed. I will return to this location the next time I need new glasses. read more

I have very poor eyesight and have been to a lot of eyeglass shops. This one is the best I have ever been to. My old glasses broke on Friday at about 4 pm, the bridge broke right in half with just me cleaning them. I had to get some glasses made as soon as possible. I started looking up places that worked on the weekends and then calling to see who had a quick appointment to get an exam (it's been just over a year). I called up Eyemart Express and talked to a very nice young lady named Sarah. She took my appointment down for Saturday (the next day) at 9:30 am. In the back, I had to wait over an hour before I saw the doctor and I was starting to get very frustrated. I always get my cornea's pictures to keep track of how my eyes are looking, but they said that the camera was broken. That was really making me upset. So much so I was thinking of walking out, but I only had 4 year old sunglasses and couldn't see. I am glad I stade. The doctor saw me and was very nice, a little quick, but he could have been running a little late, so I can't blame him too much. After I got my perscription I signed in and looked around at the frames they had. I was impressed with the selection and the prices were very reasonable compared to other places like Lens Crafters. But I know that the frames are just part of the price, it can skyrocket when you include lens as bad as mine, so I was still doubtful. When my name was called I had 3 frames that I thought were contenders. But because of how bad my eyes are I don't know exactly how they look on my face so I always have to ask the worker for their opinion. The young lady helping me was new (it was on her name tag) but she was very nice and polite. Helping me pick what she thought looked best on me. When we started talking about different lens options and what we could get done today she needed a little help from the store manager. Over comes Sarah and she took over after seeing my prescription. She knew my eyes were special and needed extra attention. No fault on the newer employee at all, again she was very nice and helped me out very much. Sarah then explains that the frames I selected were not going to hold my thick lens. I had chosen bottomless frames that only held the lens in with fishing line. She helped me choose some other frames and explained how thick my lens were going to be depending on what type of lens I would choose and what frame I was choosing. In all my years I never knew the type of frame can make the same lens thicker or a different type of frame will make the lens thinner. I must have asked every question there was to ask and she answered every one of them pleasantly. We had to go back and forth with different frames but we finally found one frame for my regular glasses and one for sunglasses. Both of which look great on my larger than average face. Now all you normal bad eye people get to get your new glasses in about an hour, well I haven't had that luxury in over a decade. I always need to ask how long do you think this is going to be. They are closed on Sunday, so if they are not done by Saturday, then I am wearing my 4 year old sunglasses for the next 3 days. Sarah talked with the nice lady in the back that makes the glasses and told her about my situation. She was very nice and cranked them out in record time (about 3 hours) My glasses look great and feel great. I am a very happy camper and will encourage everyone to give Sarah a try. The only thing that I am scared of is that sooner or later Eyemart might find out how good Sarah is and she might get promoted to district manager, then she couldn't personally do my glasses. So if Eyemart is reading this, go ahead and promote her, but make her do my glasses personally. :) read more

This place is sadly all about the money and could care less about the quality of their products or about their customers. It's a sad world when even an eye glasses store is about profit-optimization. Their service is terrible, their willingness to provide a good experience or go above and beyond is dismal. I strongly encourage taking your business elsewhere. You are more likely to get a better deal and it'd be hard to get worse service than what you will get here. Beware that they advertise deals on two pairs of glasses. But the deals are only decent if you get two and IF you do not need more than the most basic of lenses. Be prepared to watch the 'deal price' double. read more

I bought glasses from this location over an year ago, I did not buy their cheapest frames and got good lenses, they are no-line bifocal with scratch resistant and coated for computer/night driving. Since having them my lenses have fell out several times, the frames bend easy and I have worn glasses for 45 years and never have had as much problems with glasses as I have had with these and paid good money for them. I would NOT recommend these glasses to anyone. read more

I came in from California and my sisters took me here to look at frames. I bought 4 pair for the price of what I would of paid for one here! Troy and Ian were both fun to worth with and very knowledgeable! My glasses were all complete within a few hours and I could use my Credit Care card here with no problem! I would also give the place zero stars if I could. The doctor was fine. I went to check out the frames and was the only person waiting. As soon as I signed in, the person working threw thensheet away and began dusting the office. The other associates were busy with other customers and seended to be doiing OK. I got stuck with a person who wasn't going to wait on me but was going to dust, play with her phone, talk to walk-ins, and ignore me. After 20 minutes I asked if I would be next. She looked up from her iPhone long enough to tell me YES very loudly. Ten minutes later, she hadn't looked up from her phone and as I approached started going off on me. I called corporate to complain and all they did was give her my name and number so she could call me back and call me a racist liarr. Very nice customer service at both the corporate and local level. Now they won't release my insurance authorization to get my glasses made elsewhere and flat out refuse to make mine. An absolute disgrace of a business. Never go there! read more

I took my prescription that they filled successfully a few years ago to Eyemart Express to buy replacement glasses as my were lost. Since it was past a usable date in age they said they could use, I was directed to get an exam from Kwenku Micah O.D He provided the new prescription and I had two pair of glasses made to the new prescription. They both were very difficult to see with but I was told my eyes should adjust and to wait a week. I did. The funny thing is I found my old pair. Siting in my usual chair at home I could not read which channel was on with the new glasses. When the old ones were found no problem at all with this or anything else. I was going to have the glasses remade to my old script but Dr. Micah would not refund the charge for his erroneous findings. I must add they were not even close. I decided to go elsewhere. Imagine being told the new script needed time to get used to when you can't even read two numbers ten feet from your face that have been no problem for ten or so years.. In their defense Troy was very helpful and professional in sizing the glasses and recommending frames. read more
