Ra'Niece Taylor a tech at this location was very aggressive because of a misunderstanding between myself and Jessica the nice tech that made a mistake in saying that Michelle was not there. I have everything I do recorded as well as Michelle and Ra'Niece because they had on Rayban recorded frames. So there can be no dispute on what transpired. I apologized ahead of the conversation with Ra'Niece before we spoke because I was frustrated because I knew last year I did not pay for the replacement I had in 2025. She did show me a receipt from 2024 when I did pay the 25$ and I told her thanks but I just wanted transparency and honesty that they have never shown me that the 35$ protection plan I purchased came with a 25$ fee to replace lenses. Once Ra'Niece finally confirmed that to me it was fine until I said that she doesn't have to be so hostile. I don't know if it's because she is going through something in her life but you should not attack a customer with a hostile demeanor especially if I said it's fine and there is no need for hostility when I have calmed down. She should always remain professional. All she had to do is apologize and I wouldn't have to write this review. It was difficult to get the spelling of her name. The main reason she was getting mad was because they said that Michelle wasn't there but she was but on break. That's fine. Just say that. Don't lie about her not being there. Jessica as sweet as she is apologized and I felt safe working with her instead of Ra'Niece. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm about to be punched by a Lenscrafter employee because her mental state isn't well at the moment. Then to make things worse she was aggressive with another customer who walked in and then as I was speaking to Jessica, Ra'Niece tells across the room where she is helping an elderly man with his glasses, "Stop saying my name!" Yeah that was a lot. It's all recorded so I'm not concerned about the management possibly trying to cover their tracks. People protect yourselves when visiting this location. Record at all times because they can try to manipulate the situation. Especially being a black woman. We are always "angry". Just be cautious is all. Hopefully this helps. I don't count on an apology from Michelle either. Now I have to make sure I can safely retrieve my glasses without Ra'Niece Taylor trying to attack me or damage my lenses I paid for. Sucks that I can't come into this establishment comfortably anymore. All would be well if Amanda was in. She is a vibe. Bailey too. Michelle is a hit and miss. When she was sick I understood why she was the way she was but now she should be thankful that the Lord got her through and still does everyday. We should be nice to each other. I'm someone that you can talk to easy that's why I know stuff about some of these women. Ra'Niece only met me once last year and I did not expect that aggression from her. I see a lot of negative reviews for this place but my experience was extremely positive. I enjoyed both the time and attention I received at this location. I must say that this wasn't not an isolated incident, I consistently receive great service. And you can have that also. Tips to make your visit a success: 1) Early morning appointment. If you can swing it, get an early appointment. I find that most of the negative reviews center on waiting or trying to do things late in the day. Like all medical offices you never know what might happen and you minimize what could go wrong and affect you with an early appointment. Case and point my wife and I had back to back appointments. Her appointment was first and short in comparison to my appointment, which due to needing glasses and contact prescriptions took over an hour. I feel bad for the person after me but imagine how that might adjust their schedule. 2) Make the most of your wait. Check out frames while you wait. The front section were very helpful and it made the time go by quickly. If you know you're getting frames then peruse before and during your appointment. Call to head of visiting this location to find out if we were eligible for a new pair of glasses or if my children needed to have an additional eye exam. They were like me up no problem and said all is well and we could come in and pick something out. Got there, spoke to probably the rudest sales associate I've ever met, who informed me that she couldn't find any of us in their system despite us having purchased glasses from this location for three years running. She also then informed me that I didn't understand the difference between LensCrafters and the physicians office that's located literally inside of their shared office space. I let her know that I have been there many times and believed that I had called the correct, and she just told me that I was incorrect and I must have pressed the wrong number. Find another LensCrafters, or better yet just order glasses online and avoid being treated like a moron. read more

Had an appointment in early December, doctor decided to bump up only a tad and see how that went. After about a week I could tell I needed to go up more, so I scheduled to go back. My appointment was at 1:50pm, I didn't go back to the exam room until an hour later. The doctor came in, offered no apology, tried to rush through the appointment and then had me put my contacts back in. He then left the room and I heard him go next door and start to give someone else their exam. Overall the appointment took me almost TWO HOURS. The ladies at reception have been great each time but Dr. Kenkel was terrible. I have seen other doctors in the past without issue, but will not be returning. Came in for glasses and contacts. Dr. Could not figure out my prescription after 3 attempts. What? I reluctantly ordered the third attempt at a prescription. I wore the pair they gave as a trial, but decided they were still wrong and unwilling to keep them after they arrived in the mail. I did not open the box, and returned them as their process dictated. So, after 3 emails, 4 phone calls, and three months later, I got my refund. Their return process is completely broken. I initially chose this office because of the location and have seen Dr Grubb for 2 appointments in the last 2 years. She is personable and fantastic. The office workers are a mess. My first visit I scheduled because I had run out of contacts and needed a new prescription in order to order more. I was in a hurry and when I arrived they informed me that they did not accept my insurance and would have to pay the full price for the visit. I thanked them and went home to call my provider to find a place that accepted BCBS. They checked my location and said I was in luck. There is a LensCrafters near me that I could go to. Seriously. So I called, told them what my provider said and asked if I could get back in that day. They said, 'oh'. And, we are now full. (I wasn't able to get in until the next day). My next visit (1 year later) they told me my provider didn't pay the whole amount from the previous year. I paid the $30 and asked to pay for my husband's checkup that was scheduled for the next day. They told me that they didn't know what his vision would be and if they had to do anything different. I explained that I understood but was interested in paying the standard amount as his vision has been the same for the last 8 years and wasn't getting contacts, doesn't actually wear anything but glasses. I explained that he would be out of town until his appointment and he didn't have his card with him to pay. They refused. Honestly, they are so unorganized and didn't even apologize after sending me away unnecessarily the first time. If you are looking for reliable, I recommend going elsewhere. read more
