I have used Eye Mart on Coors for many years and continued using them when I moved 50 miles South. On June 23rd I took my most recent prescription to them and was told it would take one week. Two weeks later I received a text saying, "Your glasses (1 of 1) are ready to be picked up." I was so excited and drove the 50 miles back to Albuquerque. When I arrived, and to my dismay, I was told my glasses were not ready and, in their words, "The text means nothing." My 100 mile round trip was for nothing, and they still couldn't tell me when my glasses would be ready. I doubt I will ever use them again. read more

I made appointment with optometrist at Carlisle location about a week in advance. After spending 1 hour 15 min in their office and not seeing optometrist at all, I had to leave for my next appointment. Maybe they should not schedule patients every 15 min, if they can not keep up with load. read more

Appointment was at 6 it's now 7:00 and I haven't been seen. The store is closed and there's still multiple people before and after me. Staff do a terrible job at attending to people or letting us know how long it's going to take. I could have gotten dinner and come back in this time. This place sucks. read more

I just squeezed in a last minute eyeglass shopping trip before the year ended and it was an easy and painless experience. The store had a clear process for social distancing and cleaning used glasses that were tried on or if you touched them. When the store was at capacity they were very professional about being on the waiting list. I'd been there before so most of my information was on file. Cleopatra was fantastic and patient. She helped me choose my glasses and was patient in pricing things out so I could compare using insurance and not....they have special deals and coupons. The best part? I can't pick between the glasses being done in 30 m or the 1/2 off sale price of my sunglass frames. read more

Had my eyes checked at Iris Eyecare Express Mart on Dec. 29, 2023. They couldn't follow up with script due to insurance issue. Took glasses to Walmart and received them Feb. 14, 2024. I could see far but close up is very blurry. I was told by Walmart to go back to Optometrist for a second test & they would honor a second pair of glasses free of charge. (Had paid $469.00 for glasses). Optometrist denied a second exam because it was over 30 days since first exam & I had signed a 30 day clause. During exam he went VERY FAST. I believe that's why he made a mistake with the script. He now wants me to pay $99.00 for second exam. He is terrible at his job, has no empathy & rushes through everything. I'm stuck with glasses that could ruin my eyes, so I'll just have to wear old pair. His name is Rastogi Puneet. If you go to him, make him slow down!! read more

There was a female staff member who was inviting and polite. The male gentleman who for the second time attended to our needs explained nothing. He asked us no questions about our insurance, treated us differently than other patrons (a simple smile and acknowledgement?) and upon pickup did not clean or adjust my wife's glasses. We were going to shop again for myself, but the service left a lot to be desired. Simple professionalism goes a long way. We just were not treated to minimum expectations. I'm a little split! I loved the experience with Dr. Rodriguez. He and his staff were very nice, informative and took their time to be sure we were well taken care of. When it came time to get our glasses it felt a little too much like an assembly line. There were a lot of signs up about two-for-one specials and major discounts but when we chose our frames and got up to the associate there were so many hidden charges and exclusions we ended up paying triple for our glasses than we've paid at other places. My advice, ask lots of questions before you commit. read more

My first visit to this location and absolutely thrilled with the service from Perla, who helped my elderly friend get his very first pair of bifocals. Glasses were exceptionally affordable, great frames, and were ready to wear out the door in an amazing 21 minutes. We only are given one pair of eyes, so we best take care of them! My friend is an avid reader and could not be more pleased with his new glasses. And I can't recommend Eyecare Express more highly for its great staff, service, and low prices. People are rude. Senseless answers. You must purchase their frame. They will not allow you to reuse your faborite frames even if they can fill a Rx. Excuse I got, "we might strip the screws, something might happen." But they could match the lens fine. read more

Customer service is awful. In fact, one girl in their store just floats behind the register area and just plays around with the other employees joking around, acting highly immature and oblivious to customers. When I was summoned back over to pick up my glasses (about 3 hours later, which is not quite as 'express' as they advertise, but still fairly quick), this girl could not figure out how to adjust the nosepiece to prevent slipping. So, she proceeded to lallygag, crack jokes, and pester the other employees, until an older gentleman took it upon himself to fix my glasses while she watched Inattentively while playing around. And the crazy thing is, neither person helped me to begin with, and one pair of glasses I realized after getting home and taking a solid look in the mirror are about a size too small for me. Bottom line, the customers have to wait around twiddling their thumbs while four or so employees either stand around not helping at all or doing as our famed employee does, treating her job as a joke. If you want your vision and glasses design to be taken care of, this is probably not the place for you. Not very professional, and you may not get what you want. read more

Eyemart Express did a fantastic job during my experience selecting glasses. I had a return and they insisted on replacing the glasses and letting me keep the originals. The young gentleman who was helping me select new frames went out of his way to pull several different pairs for me to try. He went above and beyond my expectations and I really appreciated it. my first time going to eyemart express. i will never go anywhere else again. i did not get the name of the girl that helped me but she was so nice and helpful and fun. she is the mgr at the other store i have trifocals and always paid $400.00+ with insurance at other places and using my vsp these cost me $170.00. i might go back and get another pair for that price. i felt really safe here too. with the covid going on they took great precautions to sanitize etc. everyone had a mask on too. unlike walmart down the street they won't let anyone in without a mask. great place. read more

They've got very reasonable prices and a wide selection of frames starting as low as $10. They generally have good customer service, particularly john who seems to be running the show. I have had a few major annoyances due to being miscommunicated to about costs and also lack of communication about when my simple glasses would be ready (it took a week and a half) and I never got a call. This place is awesome!! I broke my glasses and I needed a pair quickly. When I called they said they accepted walk-ins, and they took my insurance. The doctor was extremely thorough and quick and it was a pleasant experience. On the glasses side the sales woman was ultra friendly and helped me pick out my frame, and get non-glare lenses that day. They were done very quickly and worked perfectly. The prices are the best in town and I was about to get 2 pairs for a good price and I picked them up same day!! I definitely recommend them for their excellent customer service and friendly, knowledgable staff!! read more
