She was extremely pleasant and visited with me during the process, and didn't charge me a penny even though I offered to pay. Due to the mobs of people and tight parking, I generally avoid malls on weekends but I thought I would try out Sears optical for prescription sunglasses, which I badly need. There was only one person working when I arrived around 1:20 pm, and 2 couples were ahead of me. so I asked about sports sunglasses and was told the nice brand(s) were locked up, so they "wouldn't walk off". Seeing that the one person was busy I asked what time the OPTICAL SHOP closed (NOT what time does SEARS CLOSE). I was told 6 pm. I returned at 5:31 (time on my cell phone) and the entire shop was closed up, darkened, and nobody was there. I had wasted another 1/2 hour to drive there, park, and make my way in. I ask you, the Yelp reader, to consider the following questions: - What kind of people shop at Sears Optical that good merchandise has to be locked up? - How can the one employee get the closing time wrong? - Why aren't more people working on a busy Saturday? I don't mind a short wait or even having to return, but coming back to a closed shop is really lame service and I will be searching for better service and a decent selection elsewhere.

After walking a far distance (location is in a mall) on a knee scheduled for joint replacement, I was informed they did not have me down for an appt. They said I was not booked, even though I showed the confirmation email. I was told they could get me in a different day, but no options for that day (the 31st). Nothing was done to try to fit me in - even though I was scheduled - and I was simply told I could voice my complaint with the manager when she was available. I opted to leave to find a business that actually follows their booking. I don't know what their scam is or if it is just very poor computer programming, but would never go back with that lack of customer service. I did tell them I would review them poorly, so I'm here.
