In the past few years, I have watched as customer service has declined. It has become a cattle call. With my appointments being rescheduled (2 times). No personal communication. It has dwindled to the move them in and move them out mentality and it shows. I have decided to try a new place next year and see how that goes. I want to be treated as a client who has been seeing you for years not as someone you want to get through the service line. I have been wearing eyeglasses since the age of 4 years old. They are a part of who I am. I have spent thousands of dollars on the most fashionable, the thin lenses, the blue lens and more. I wear both Rx glasses and sunglasses. So disappointing to see such a popular business forget that the personal touch is what keeps people coming back.

But what's even more important is that if something happens to a new pair of frames, and it's clear that it was simply a poorly-manufactured pair, she will take the time and care to make it right. I wasn't expecting that so it took me aback because, well, you know how this doesn't always happen. It was a huge expense for her. So my hats off to Marie for being an awesome small local business owner! Oh, and her shop is open for business right now during our summer of COVID-19. My problem with her is that twice now she had stood me up for appointments. I don't think there is any good reason to blow off appointments. I came in and was told that she had decided to take the day off. If it had only happened once, I would give her the benefit of the doubt, but she has done it twice. Both times it was on a Friday and I figured that she just wanted to have a long weekend. I'm disappointed in her and now I don't trust her.
