He was indifferent when I requested an adjustment to my glasses. He said it looks fine and it did not feel right but I had another appointment and had to leave. It wasn't about how it looked, it was about how it felt. I returned about 6 pm and received better service! I got the adjustment I needed and the eyewear feels great now.

She was extremely pleasant and visited with me during the process, and didn't charge me a penny even though I offered to pay. I don't know how good their glasses are, but customer service is certainly better than any other optical shop I've visited in Burque. I'll definitely consider them for my next pair of glasses.

Due to the mobs of people and tight parking, I generally avoid malls on weekends but I thought I would try out Sears optical for prescription sunglasses, which I badly need. There was only one person working when I arrived around 1:20 pm, and 2 couples were ahead of me. so I asked about sports sunglasses and was told the nice brand(s) were locked up, so they "wouldn't walk off". Seeing that the one person was busy I asked what time the OPTICAL SHOP closed (NOT what time does SEARS CLOSE). I was told 6 pm. I returned at 5:31 (time on my cell phone) and the entire shop was closed up, darkened, and nobody was there. I had wasted another 1/2 hour to drive there, park, and make my way in. I ask you, the Yelp reader, to consider the following questions: - What kind of people shop at Sears Optical that good merchandise has to be locked up? - How can the one employee get the closing time wrong? - Why aren't more people working on a busy Saturday? I don't mind a short wait or even having to return, but coming back to a closed shop is really lame service and I will be searching for better service and a decent selection elsewhere.

But nothing compares to the great service I get from Deseree and the other good folks at this Oakley store. Whether they are making a minor fix to one of my frames, or helping me find exactly the right choice for a new pair, I am always happy that I've brought my business to these pros. Deseree knows me so well that she is able to head off my impulse buys and makes sure I'm COMPLETELY satisfied with my choices (I'm a terrible impulse buyer when it comes to sunnies).
