just had my second cataract surgery at Tri County surgery in Southampton. my first eye surgery went…read morevery well, this was even better. first was a pleasant surprise as I got a call "asking me " if I would like to come in early, as they were running ahead of time. when I arrived I was prepped for surgery within 20 minutes. I was greeted with a friendly smile and " Hello" from every member of the staff.Then my team of prep nurses, Jen R and Jen M had me quickly and perfectly ready , I never even felt the IV being inserted. My nurse from the first eye surgery, Katlyn, came by and said hi, how are you. My operating room nurses, Dana and Lori introduced themselves giving me clear and professional explanations and directions. Doctors are always friendly and pleasant and introduce themselves. Nurses Jen R & Jen M took over , explained post operative instructions, and helped me safely into my husbands waiting car. Big thanks to everyone there

They are not providing safe and quality care. Please be careful. I did allow the office to try to fix their mistakes over the past month and it has only gotten worse. They also over charge immensely in comparison to the technology and care they provide. They will happily take your money and traumatize you along the way. Please read the reviews. Don't be like me.

The doctor patched him for a couple months and then at his follow up said my son "was turning his eye in by himself and there was no need for the patch or glasses Because he didn't have any vision issues." I made him a second opinion and took him to chop. In between the visits (chop had a wait list) both of his eyes started turning in and he was squinting. The said he needed to be in glasses ASAP and had Esotropia strabismus, he is having a hard time seeing far, and if in three months she can't start to correct it with glasses, he'll need surgery. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE AT ALL!!!

Some medical insurance includes ophthalmology, which is why they'd ask for that. I have found the office to be bright and cheerful, the staff friendly and efficient, and the clinicians skilled and thorough. The waiting room is large, has a television, and has complimentary coffee (and water). The office is accessible - you have to walk up stairs to get to it, but they also have an elevator. Plenty of parking, including handicapped spots near the entrance. My only complaint, really, is that 9 times out of 10, they really keep you waiting. I think perhaps they overbook. I have heard other patients get pretty snarly about it, too. So take a book or something, and try not to have anything else scheduled right after your eye appointment. They recently have acquired all of the technology for advanced eye testing, so you no longer have to go to Abington to get those tests done. They answer your questions, and show you the imaging, if you ask. They have an eye surgeon and an optometrist on-site, as well as a glasses shop. The glasses shop doesn't have as full a selection as a glasses store, but they have a reasonable selection, and get your glasses to you in a reasonable amount of time. I have complicated eye issues, and this office is a one-stop shopping kind of place, which is really nice. But for the tardiness issue (it can really put a cramp in your day), I wholly endorse this business.

They delayed my ACN test for 1 month. Then after, they never called to schedule surgery. After I called several times, a week later they set up an appointment to fill out paperwork. The person was not in the office, and I had to drive another 1/2 hour to another office to meet with her. They then rescheduled surgery again because they set it up at the wrong surgical center which delayed it another month. I got my cataract clearance from GP. One week before the surgery the doctor called and said everything was a go. THE DAY BEFORE SURGERY, the office called and claimed they never received the clearance form from GP who I had to call and ask to send again. Then they called back to say surgery was cancelled as their office never did the proper paperwork to get the go-ahead from insurance. I had already started my eye-drops pre-surgery. They HUNG UP THE PHONE on me after saying "welcome to America where no one wants to work, you can ask your question 3 different ways and you'll get the same answer, now let me go do my work"...click. Hung up. I am out all of the money I spent on several visits and eye drops and now have to start all over again and find a new surgeon. And I am seeing double out of my right eye. No one has called to apologize and instead only offered excuses but no solutions. I've never had such an awful experience at a doctor's office and I have seen my husband through 10 operations over the years. I am so incredibly disappointed with this practice, I trusted the doctors and the staff to do the right thing, yet they did not. To be so dismissive and uncaring to people who are at their most vulnerable, needing surgery, is completely unforgivable. I do not recommend Opthalmology Physicians and Surgeons or their parent company ReFocus Eye Health - any of their branch offices - to anyone, ever. I am writing this so others won't have to experience the same blatant disregard for their health and well-being. Run away as fast as you can.
