In my 59 years on this planet I have never complained about or told that I have dry eyes by any optometrist. Left with a $205 bill and didn't even order contacts. This place is a joke and a scam. I can't say enough positive things about the staff at Visual Eyes. From the moment I approached the outside glass office door I was greeted by Lindsay with a big smile. I knew then that this was going to be a very positive experience. The rest of the staff was incredibly friendly, approachable, patient, and readily available to answer my questions. They made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer and a person and this is now my go-to store for all my vision issues. Blessie, who does the preliminary exam, took her time to explain the process and what was going to happen using the new technology, Dr. Small who was incredibly kind and patient, provided the best and by far the most thorough eye examination I've ever had and I'm pushing 80 and last but certainly not least there is the very patient Tim who helped me pick out two pair of glasses based on my color and financial preference from their fantastic selection of eyewear. I was never rushed nor was I pressured to buy anything. Actually, I was going to purchase three pair but Tim didn't think the third pair was needed and in hindsight he is correct. I apologize for the long review but I believe this group of people deserve to be recognized for their wonderful customer service, professionalism and patient care as this is sometimes lacking in other stores I've shopped in. After this visit I believe I can highly recommend Visual Eyes and their staff to others.

In picking out frames, Lamia continued to bring me frames that were not my style - even after I explained to her what I was looking for and showed her examples. Even worse, at one point she went out to smoke a cigarette, and came back REEKING, forcing me to be exposed to the toxic odor and chemicals coming from her. My pick up experience was even worse. An employee who had no idea what they (not sure of the gender) were doing, and made me stand there for several minutes while they just cluelessly kept typing stuff into the system - until finally an employee who knew what they were doing came up to rescue them, telling them that they could just let me go with the glasses and that they just needed to keep the paperwork. I am utterly disappointed in this year's eyeglass purchase experience, and questioning whether I will go back - which is sad, given the 40 years of me being a loyal customer of the For Eyes retail institution.

My first visit was somewhat disappointing. I explained to the doctor that my vision was getting…read moreworse and asked if I needed glasses. She dilated my eyes, had me read the chart, explained that my eyes were not perfect and told me it was due to dry eyes. This was ridiculous because I never had dry eyes until they were dilated. I bought the eye drops she recommended....my vision never improved. My followup visit was scheduled 6 months later at 9:30am. I arrived promptly. They asked for the identical insurance information which was already on file. They gave me a beeper and told me to wait in the car. After waiting for over 35 minutes without a beep I went back in the office, handed back the beeper and told them that I couldn't wait any longer. They told me that because of covid it takes time to clean the room. (What BS - alcohol drys in less than 30 seconds!) They assured me that the doctor will be ready in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later...no doctor....I left. I'm sorry....this is inexcusable. They evidently have no respect for a patient's time and certainly do not deserve my business. I will be going to another eye doctor.
