A different person was at the welcome desk and she said she couldn't explain why because she wasn't there when I came in. It's a small business so I asked her to go get the other person which she did not do at this point. There were more people waiting and I was not going to leave my name and be on the bottom of the list so I left and went to another provider. I don't know if this was a one time experience, but it was my experience and I won't be returning to this location to buy glasses.

Walking in to their facility after struggling to find parking in the lot in front of their building, I confronted a full house. It was SRO in the waiting room, with many patients wearing eye patches and post surgical goggles. Average age estimated at 70. My 2:00 pm appointment was a memory as I stood against a wall waiting to be called. Around 2:45 I was called to begin the preliminary vision test and dilation. I saw Dr. Gordon at 3:15. The explanation for the crowd and time waste was that there were two doctors seeing patients, most post surgery. How or why this was so was never known. It just put everyone in a bad mood; leaving the receptionist and nursing assistants to bear the brunt of the rising frustration in the house. It wasn't pretty. Still, Dr. Gordon was great once he reached me. He was mellow and friendly for such a busy day, but kudos for the patience and professionalism displayed throughout our interaction. Best of all, he told me what I hoped to hear, and I walked out with a new Rx for lenses that I intend to activate shortly. I can't say I will continue with this practice. I am not happy about the crowds of sick people and long wait without any effort to reschedule people to more convenient times.
