It wasn't bad but little things I noticed weren't okay. First I don't know if as a first time customer you get charged more, even though the price of 12 is posted. I was charged more. Then I had an appointment and was check-in stating I see you have an appointment. Apparently the lady who's service I was on didn't refresh and know she had me scheduled. So people went before me, which fine I can understand but what kind of bothered me was she seemed to have an attitude about it. I felt my eyebrows were rushed and my right eyebrow was not threaded properly and crooked. I am not one to complain but I was a little disappointed. Would I go back again yes, would I speak up about the over charge if they do it again, yes. Would I let the same person do my eyebrows probably not. I've never had any work done on my eyebrows so I had no idea what I was getting into. Lately, I've been intrigued by eyebrow threading and wanted to give it try. Who knows, maybe I'll like it and be obsessed with eyebrows?!? I did a lot of research on this place before I decided to give it try. I was so worried about having terrible eyebrows and having to go to work the next day! In doing my research, I started researching this place because there were a lot of reviews, high reviews and positive experiences and pictures. Also, the price seemed cheaper and so much more reasonable than other places. It is $10 for your brows. I was out of there in 10 minutes. Farida is the one many desire to have their eyebrows done by. If you want her, you have to schedule an appointment online and it is $15 instead of $10. If you are not picky, you don't have to schedule an appointment and your eyebrows will be done by another staff member. While I made an appointment with Farida, since I was so paranoid, I was confident in the other staff members based on the reviews. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by one of the staff members who told me to sign-in on the pad of paper by the door and take a seat. Farida just started with someone else so I didn't really want to wait for her when the other staff member was available. I was so nervous! I feel like I was in the chair forever and I wasn't sure how much eyebrow I would have left, LOL! It was fun. My eyebrows looked good and it wasn't that painful after the first 2-3 pulls. They will add witch hazel or aloe gel on your brows at the end. You can choose which one you want. For payment, they take cash and credit. They accept all major credit cards. Overall, I was happy with my brows and I would definitely come back here again. It's not too far from where I work, I'm confident in the staff doing a good job and the price is great! The staff was friendly BUT Before I sat down I clearly said I liked my eyebrows thick. Most people who do eyebrows just immediately start without asking the client what they want. So I wanted to make sure she knew what I wanted for my eyebrows. I was a little surprised that she wouldn't map out my eyebrows to show me what shape she was planning on doing. That should have been my first red sign. Farida ended and gave me the mirror and honestly I had never had my eyebrows so thin. I said "woah they are SO small" and she said she hadn't taken that much off. She then proceeded to tell me the areas I needed to grow out hair in, mind you these were areas that had hair when I got there. I was VERY disappointed as I like thick eyebrows and now am stuck with thin ones until they grow out, I'm very unhappy. I asked for something completely different than what I received. read more

I had a HORRIBLE experience with threading a few years ago and I'm still growing the middle part of one of my brows back. As a result, I had sworn off threading. I've been to a few other wax brow bars that were ok but mostly maintained my own brows for the past few years -- which usually resulted with me plucking way too much late at night in a bathroom mirror and waking up with regrets. Until I found this place! Recently, the new shop showed up in my yelp eyebrow search and I couldn't believe all the positive reviews and before/after pics. I decided to give it a shot and now I'm hooked! First, who can beat $8 for brows?! And Farida, the owner is so sweet, patient and very gentle with threading. I remembered the process being a lot more painful but she does such a great job. She's also great about helping you map out your brows if you're trying to grow them out in certain areas (like me). I've gone twice now and I'll be coming back as a regular. Her service is great. The shop is clean and conveniently located with lots of parking in a plaza. I usually like going to this place HOWEVER I recently came just two days ago to get my eyebrows down for my graduation and I got paired with a girl who looked like she did not know what she was doing. She seemed new as the boss came up to her and told her specifically to keep my eyebrows thick. I held a mirror and showed her that I like when my eyebrows are longer because I want to brush them up and keep the corners thicker. I wanted a small clean up. Not a full shape. She completely changed the shape of my eyebrows and MADE THEM EXTREMELY THIN. I usually only trust this place for my eyebrows but I will not be coming again. While she was doing my eyebrows, she would wander around looking to see if someone else was free to check and see if she did it right. Absolutely love coming here! Farida and her staff are great at Threading. I have been coming here for about a year now and they do an excellent job every time. I don't like my eyebrows thin and I have a specific shape I like and the staff nails it every time. The prices are the best in the valley and rarely do I have to wait more than 5 minutes to get my brows done. I was met with VERY bittersweet results. I was in dire need of having my brows threaded so I found a decent looking place and headed in. I noticed that my hairline was looking a little furry too so I thought I would have her go and clean it up. I went in and was immediately helped with was a plus. The whole process took about 20 minutes and I have never had such a PAINFUL experience. The brows look great and my face is smooth however the day after the irritation became rampant and I began to breakout all over my face. I have never had this reaction to threading before and I'm confident it's connected to the fact that it was so painful. I'm an adult blessed with naturally clear skin, but It has been over a week and my face is still irritated and I'm covered in pimples to prove it. read more

I have been here twice, as my coworker gets her brows done by the owner herself and highly recommends it. This place is conveniently located near my job so yesterday I decided to pay a visit. The staff are very nice and the shop is clean. A younger girl did my brows and I told her I didn't want them thin. They came out perfect. I left happy with the results as my brows are difficult to shape. Drove home and took a shower when I realized that a dark, irritated and noticeable large cut/abrasion had appeared between my eyes. I don't even grow hair in that area. Keep in mind, I have had my brows threaded countless times for years and have never had anything like this happen. I understand that redness/irritation can sometimes occur after threading but that's usually around the eyebrow itself. My brows look great, but I'm glad I have no place to be this week as my skin looks terrible lol. I dislike leaving negative reviews as I understand that honest mistakes can happen, but please be more cautious with future customers skin. After getting my eyebrows threaded here for the first time I kept wondering "why do people pay 3X as much to get them waxed?" They did a fantastic job and I will definitely be coming back. What's the point of setting up appointments if when I arrive on time no one is going to assist. I visited Brows by Farida for a full face and received terrible service by one of the eyebrow specialists. I do not remember her name, but she was disrespectful and became defensive when I told her I still had hair on my face. She made a bother face, so I asked what the rush was. She became upset and said "I am sorry" but continued arguing with me. She grabbed my face abruptly. She was not gentle and was argumentative. Later, another brow specialist asked me to wait, and she finished my full face. She was very nice and gentle. I would like to speak to Farida, the owner. 10/10 experience A little bit of a wait but that's not a big deal to me. The actual service itself was amazing. I used to go to the mall to get my eyebrows done and every time I'd go there, I'd tear up from the pain it caused me to get my eyebrows done. Totally different story here. The lady didn't hurt me at all and it was actually relaxing! My eyebrows have never looked this good.
