I have had an okay experience here, it's the first place I've ever done threading so as far as that goes they are easy, fast and clean threaders. The real negative that I have is they are always trying to sell you other make-up products or sample them on you almost in a pushy car salesman type of way. Not to mention the make-up is WAY over priced. $18 for eyeliner is a little steep when target is right down the street. Also, after talking to others about what they pay at other threading shops, this place seems over priced. read more

I basically used 1 month out of 3 months before the covid-19 shut down happened. They should've been able to froze my account and honored leftover months after they opened (like many other businesses did)But that is not the case here! Their excuse is that the system they use can not allow that( complete Bu** S**t). You will pay exact same at other business like Preet salon or beauty by thread or eyebrow arch and you will get better service and respect! Went back to get my eyebrows done again and this time my experience was not good! The tech was nice however was rushing as she was the only one there. I didn't think anything of it and thought it was fine until I went home and seen all the burn marks I had. I have so many marks and burn marks on my eyebrows! It looks horrible! I'm surprised at some of the reviews here. I've been going to Eyebrow Masters on Laguna for quite some time and cannot say that I really have any legitimate complaints... and I am VERY particular about my eyebrows since it is difficult to find technicians who can get it right. Their service is always quick and I never have to wait long. I show up at random times and days of the week without an appointment. The staff is always courteous and polite and I make sure I display the same. Yes, they do ask if you are interested in a membership EVERY time you visit, but I just simply reply "no thank you" and go about my business. Simple. I love how eyebrow threading turns out as opposed to waxing. Techs who wax very rarely get it right and you end up looking silly until your brows go back in. Techs who thread are able to give you a more natural looking brow that fits your face and looks nice and clean. Ive never been cut here (I've been wounded at other places and trust me, you wont be happy if you lose skin from your eye area!) and the ladies have been able to deliver whatever I ask for, even when requesting reshaping. Eh. That's all. I went here for the first time today to try it out, but also for the convenience since I ate at Sizzling Fresh. I usually go to Eyebrows by Preet by Safeway. I should have just made the trip. To start off, there were no other customers there so I didn't have to wait at all. The lady asked me if I had a membership.. Was I supposed to? Anyway, she took me right away and immediately tried to start selling me on a $55 membership. Holy moley lady, all I want is for you to clean up my brows. She was pushing it the whole time she was working on my brows too. Pretty annoying actually. Besides trying to make the compelling argument she thought she was about the membership, she tried to accuse me of plucking my brows when I said I don't. She said don't do it next time because it messed up the shape. If I say I don't pluck my brows, I DON'T. If I did, why am I here??OMG seriously, now you're calling me a liar! She had attitude. As for the actual job, it was alright. I mean my brows already had shape so a clean up isn't rocket science or anything to be applauded for. With that being said, $12 is a little steep, especially for the kind of pushy, irritated service I received. Horrible customer service! When I asked the lady to remove more from one eyebrow she kept arguing that if she did it would look different. Clearly, they were uneven and she didn't want to do it. There were no other customers in the shop and there was no reason to not want to do it. When she finally removed what I asked her to the brows looked even. What was the big deal??? This review is based on 3 visits. After my last visit, i won't be back. Sanitation: She grabbed gloves from her drawer which i could tell were used. There were only one pair in her drawer and they were turned inside out. Who knows how many times they have been used. Technique: She went very slow on my brows and made it a very painful experience. I asked for a tissue for my tears and she looked at me without a smile and said "i made you cry." Her dry sarcasm wasn't appreciated. She then worked on my lip and was a little faster. When i looked in the mirror, i noticed there were hair in between and on top of my brows she missed. i was done by then. i paid and left. read more

My daughters and I have been coming here for 6 months or so. Tonight we walked in and the gal working, was on the phone and would not acknowledge us. Another customer walked in. We stood there for 8 mjnutes. Enough time for me too call another threading place on Laguna Blvd. and make a walk in appt for 2. I told the girl at eyebrow masters we were leaving. She waved as she continued to talk to someone on the phone in another language constantly referring to Saturday. You lost 3 weekly customers for good tonight ladies. I've been a member for almost 8 months. Last week I decided to not renew my membership. They have multiple locations in different cities. I was originally a customer from another site and decided to be a faithful customer just at their new location. The cons of this place the last two times I went in they had the same tech which should be okay but could also be bad too especially if someone messes up. Why they lost my business when it came to the owners. I like there satisfaction survey right when you pay to say the least. When it came to paying I let the lady know I wanted to renew my membership. She charged me for 3 months instead of one. She said she was new and there computers don't tell them where I'm a member from which I didn't believe her and then she apologized for charging me for 3 months and said she was new. I knew that was bull and had a feeling hit when her husband was on phone he referred to her as his wife and that's when I told her so you are the owner. She looked so embarrassed and bashful because she knew I knew she lied. At that point I let her know if she would have told me upfront what costs were I would propbably have done it but now I feel uncomfortable. She had the authority to grant me any deal renewing of membership souldnt be priced or packaged differently. Don't leave your customers guessing and be upfront with your charges. They lost my business for good. If you were really about customer satisfaction you would have made sure I left a happy customer but instead you treated me as if I didn't matter when in actuality I've been a long tim customer. read more

There are a lot of bad reviews, which seem to not be so recent either - so judging upon a review from last year may not be ideal if trying to find a new place to be threaded... However, I absolutely love this place- the staff is always so welcoming, & always greets with a genuine smile! They all do such a great job, and offer an amazing membership! $55 dollars for 3 unlimited months of eyebrow services!! AMAZING- and so worth the $$!!! I have re-newed my membership 3 times- so a total of 9 months I've been a customer, I've referred many people to this location because I absolutely love how efficient and thorough they are. I usually get my eyebrows done with Usma, she always does such a fantastic job!! She's always so grateful and appreciative of the customers who come in! read more

I really like this place. The membership makes sense and it's a fair deal. The only thing that really sucks is how bad of a wait time this place has. There's never enough people working. There's not enough time in my day to have to come and wait as long as they make you wait. One person working and a full face thread going on, henna, etc. Appointments aren't really implemented. The lady I went to today went step by step to see if I liked them, I take pride in my eyebrows so for me that was good. If I could give 5stars for JUST SAM, I would. But the lady in the second chair always thins my eyebrows way too much. When I tell her that they're too thin, she proceeds to tell me how to make them grow faster by using olive oil on them....I wouldn't need her suggestions if she didn't thin my eyebrows out so bad. Sam is amazing but is only there in the mornings, after 2PM it's RARE to see her. Bought the membership twice because it pays for itself and beats paying $12 every time. But I won't be renewing again because I never catch Sam and I'm tired of growing my eyebrows out just to have the other girl butcher them again. read more

Where is the zero stars option? I've been coming here since they first opened up & I've never had a problem....until this afternoon. My eyebrows weren't even bad but I was going out of town for the weekend so I needed a quick clean up. I walked in & was helped by a lady I hadn't seen before. I told her I just wanted a quick clean up. As I'm sitting there I notice she's taking a REALLY long time cleaning them up. She shows me my right eyebrow & IT'S THE THINNEST F-ING EYEBROW IVE EVER HAD! She asked me if I liked the shape.... B!@?$ does it matter!!?!? You already ruined it! I don't say anything & let her proceed with ruining my face. I know it's my fault for not speaking up....but honestly I just wanted to cry. They ruined them!!! Not only are they REALLY THIN....THEY AREN'T EVEN THE SAME SHAPE!!!!! I know I've been loyal to them for a really long time, but as of today I will be taking my business elsewhere. Poor customer service! The service is poorly done and the lady who did my eyebrows did not wanted to accept a coupon I had receive today. I had receive three coupons, one was $5 for the eyebrows, $20 for full face, 10off for membership. I took the $5 for eyebrows and the lady call her manager. I went here for the first time today and had a great experience! I have never done threading before, and I don't think I'll ever wax again! Gagan was very pleasant, efficient, and made my eyebrows look great!! It was nearly painless, my skin isn't super red like it is with waxing, and it was MUCH faster than waxing. This was the worst experience I have ever had! The technician over plucked my eyebrows and gave my eyebrows a horrible shape, and one eyebrow is thinner than the other. I have eyebrows that make me look like I'm permanently angry! I even told her I wanted my eyebrows natural, just cleaned up. I even showed her the picture of a poster that they had up with a women who had nicely shaped, thick eyebrows like mine BEFORE she plucked my eyebrows like The Joker from Batman! I told her to shape it like hers, which looked naturally thick with a nice arch. The other technician came out and apologized and told me that the lady that did my eyebrows didn't understand what I said because she doesn't understand English! If you value having eyebrows, do not get your eyebrows done here! They tried to fill my brows in with some brow gel and it looked like she used crayons on my eyebrows. Horrible and most traumatizing experience ever. Praying that my eyebrows grow back quickly. read more
