Extremely disappointed with my experience here. My natural nails were in good condition before my appointment, and afterward they were completely damaged and destroyed. They were filed down so much that my nails became extremely thin, weak, and painful. I understand that nails can sometimes experience minor damage, but this was way beyond that. I would not recommend this place if you care about the health of your natural nails. read more

Lynn never disappoints due to the shape of my nails as well as size, I'm always afraid of what I ask not to be what is delivered but that's never the case with Lynn, this might be the best set I've ever had. Pedicures here are always great also! I do recommend calling ahead tos eat up an appointment. read more

I've been going here off and on for awhile now. Some seasons I do my nails, while there are some I don't. For a time I visited a place that was doing my lashes, too. I typically get a fill and a pedicure every couple times. Lynn is my favorite tech, for obvious reasons. Still, while inflation is crazy and running a business isn't easy, I feel like a get a great value and equal quality. They're not over the top, though I've never had too exotic a set, but I did get something fun for fall and I'll share a picture. This is what Lynn was rocking herself and I loved it! She had a squarer shape but almond works best for me. I usually schedule an appointment in advance, and lately I've just been setting them while I'm in to make sure I go. The team is pleasant, but it's nothing over the top. They're not serving you drinks with a bunch of ambiance, but that's not what I go for. It's close to home and I'm never disappointed. They have a ton of colors and dip, which I tried before but wasn't a fan of. read more

Came here for a pedicure with my sisters this past Sunday. I forgot the appointment time and arrived a half hour early. I asked to do a manicure on top of the scheduled pedicure with gel and my nail tech, Tram was able to accommodate me. She was friendly and although not too talkative, she did really good work. I loved how my nails came out! Fast forward to my vacation and my nail was already chipping 3 days later. It was only that middle finger. I don't think it was cured well in the uv light. I will probably try them out again, but will need to ensure that the gel polish cures well next time. read more

The service has gone down. Kathy, Katie and Kim are gone. They were the best nail technicians I had. They took their time and gave good massages. We came back hoping to give this place a try but all of their seasoned nail technicians are gone. The gentleman I had did not speak any English, my sister had Cindy and she rushed through the pedicure. We Most likely will not return to this shop anymore. read more

It's a small house next to Koalatea. Parking is available behind the building. There's two Lynn's in Elk Grove. I called the other one to see if i could get in for a pedicure then was called back to go to this location on Elk Grove Florin. I parked behind the building. There's an entrance in the back. There was no sign of what business was what. I asked a woman inside and it was the door to the right that led to the back of the salon and you can walk through to the front. There was also a door on the right side of the building that was another entrance/exit to the salon as well as the front. Two pedicure options: Basic or Deluxe My tech did a good job. The massage chair was also nice. I paid with a card and didn't know that you have to let them know beforehand if you want to add a tip. I was charged the amount for the pedicure and was unable to add a tip, left to bring back a cash tip. So, bring a cash tip or tell them how much to charge your card before they charge. read more

Soooo.... I cheated on my nail bestie of 15 years cause she was enjoying a vacation with her family for a month. But I had a funeral I had to attend with many many family photos. My kiddo recommended Lynn's. The fantastic nail tech Mai was amazing. She did a fabulous job. She helped me pick the perfect color. She gave me nails that felt like an extension of my body rather than fake foreign pieces. She was so sweet kind and helpful. Highly recommend this place. I love this place! I got a gel pedicure and dipped nails. They turned out great! Lynn and her employees are so friendly. They make you feel welcomed and it's not rushed at all. This is the worst place I have ever been to. First of all, she messed up my nails and then refused to fix them. She then got her husband involved, who is very aggressive and started yelling she is the best in the business! They said I was too difficult for wanting my nails to be fixed!! This is awful!! Save yourself the trouble and headache and find somewhere else to go!! And she charged $100.00 for this!! read more

I was in dire need of a pedicure and did a "walk in" at Lynn's hoping they could squeeze me in. My first impression was that the place was very clean, bright and cheery. There were plenty of pedicure chairs as well as manicure stations. I was greeted right away and they happily accommodated me which I was so happy about. I did not get the name of the gal that did my pedicure but I was so happy with it and thoroughly enjoyed the scrub, the massage and the hot towel treatment. I was in and out of there pretty quickly which was perfect as I had a lot of errands to do. I will definitely return in the future! read more

This is a long overdue review. I've been going here since last year. Katie has been amazing at doing my nails. I used to go to Safety Nails and Spa in Elk Grove and she used to do my nails until she left so I've actually worked with her off and on for the last few years. After I stopped going to Safety Nails I was pleasantly surprised that she was here and I was so happy to find her here. She's so good and quick at doing dip powder nails. Her shaping is ON POINT! She's super nice and always listens to what you want. She knows me by name and I just love her work. I came in for a pedicure as I always do. Sadly the girl I've been going to for years moved to another salon out of the area so I had another woman do my pedicure, Kathy, Katie's sister. When I would get my pedicure from my former girl, Kathy was always busy with someone and I know why! She is legit. Her work is precise and she gives the best massages. She addressed these knots in my legs that I didn't even know I had. Each part she hit, made me want to sleep. Just imagine if she could use her massage techniques as a weapon. Lol. I would post a picture of my pedicure but my feet look like sausages but just know Kathy did an amazing job. I tried another salon a few weeks ago with one of my other nail techs I used to go to. Love the woman but didn't love her work this last time so that's why I had to come back to this salon. Ladies are very good at their job, very nice and quick but don't rush. Prices are so good too. They're way cheaper than the other 2 places I've gone to in Elk Grove. Keeping this my go to place as long as these ladies are here. read more

I've been waiting for Lynn2 to open.. I rarely get my nails done, but when I do, and I'm in Elk Grove; It's always going to be @ Lynn's 1-or Lynns2. These ladies are professional and detailed. Love the customer service and also the quality of their work. I've not done my pedicure for over 6-8 months.....lol... and when I saw there shop was open, I went. Couldn't bring in the new year with crusty nails from the year before. The wonderful ladies working there, never complained about how bad my nails were, they just jumped into action. The massage they do after..... "is divine". I teased that I'll see them I'm another 6 months, but I think I'll go back in 3 Months time. read more

I've been coming to Lynn for on and off 10 years. She is meticulous and always makes sure everything is perfect and I'm happy! She goes the extra mile to make custom colors when I need something that isn't necessarily on the wall - she even does a custom dip so I can have my natural nails shine without having to them too thick! I will never go to another nail shop. read more

I've been a loyal customer & scheduled appointments w/either Katie or Kathy (sisters) as both know how to do a thorough manicure & pedicure. I was disappointed & turned off recently when I scheduled an appointment & asked for either Katie or Kathy. The appointment was made & after it was made I got a call back & was told that the sisters no longer work for the nail salon & someone else that was very good can do the pedicure. ***********WRONG*************** Since I've already scheduled I committed to the appointment but bracing myself because I knew I was going to lead myself to disappointment & not to expect much. WELL my gut instincts were right. The person that did my pedicure seemed to be a newbie & was taking shortcuts to shorten the length of time for the deluxe service (I think there right it's the most expensive one they have). The guy didn't even trim my cuticles. My toes nails weren't shaped evenly one toe nail was slanted way too much. Not to mention what was more of a disgust was all their tools, and what is used to do pedicures (outdated) & the nail polishes they have are all dry!!! Poor selection of colors, I don't even think they sterilize any of the tools they use except to rinse it out once they drain the water & remove the plastic lining used. Then use the non sterilize tools on another client. Such a disappointment! What a waste of money! I definitely won't be coming to this place anymore. I don't even think they wipe down the spa chair after each client nor sweep or clean the floors. Sad read more

I am a regular customer. Last month I asked for no gel manicure but tech keep asking for gel. I told her I am in healthcare no gel and I walked out see was insisting on gel. Today I went with my brother service was okay but customer service was not good . Tech who did my brother did a good job but she never told him he is done my brother kept waiting until he asked and the other tech said you are done. I was attended but the guy tech he was nice but for 40$ pedi and $10 tip. I don't feel I got pedicure. I feel I just got color change. Usual the techs clean the skin with a scissors clean inside the nails none of that was done I asked Lynn said he will but it was my brothers treat so he paid but I am not happy with the service provided today when I am their regular so no more Lynn. read more

I had an amazing experience at this nail salon. Lynn herself did my nails and you can tell she's very experienced. She was very precise and made sure my nails looked perfect. Price is reasonable. Workers are nice. If you ask, they will give you complementary bottle water. Depending on who you get, you also may get a good foot massage. I got my nails done here and they were so bad my entire family/friends laughed at me. You can see from the front and side theyre so lumpy and deformed. The french tip was badly traced and they put the dip so far up from the cuticle. The lady doing my nails was going back and forth between me and another person at the same time. But its not all bad, the man who stayed in front of the place is very nice and has good manners. I think youre safe going here if its only gel and no designs. read more

I've been to quite a few nail salons in Elk Grove, but I definitely won't be going back to this place. The employees were very nice and sweet but this was the worst manicure I've ever gotten. The nail technician did not know how to shape my nails right and they look lumpy and uneven. I'm tempted to go get it redone somewhere else even though it was expensive (overpriced). The salon was small, cramped, and kind of dirty too. Sorry! read more

I don't know why I haven't written a review specifically for Nina after all these years. But Nina is my absolute favorite and I've been going to her for a long time. After every move she does (e.g., trims a nail, fills the water for a pedi, tries the color on your nail), she asks you if you like it before she moves on. And then thanks you for your feedback afterward. She takes her time and takes care of her customers. I get my gel mani and gel pedis from her and love how thorough she is! Thank you always to Nina for taking care of my nails and feet! read more

Walked into this shop right at 10am on a Sunday with no appointment. Billy quickly helped me out I needed a pedicure and I was greeted the second I walked in. A little small but very friendly. I dread going to get my feet done because I usually always feel like a number and nail shops are usually packed and I feel rushed. I have been using Lynn since before she had her own shop. She has always done an exceptional job on my pedicures and manicures. She never recommends a service that she feels won't work on your nails. She really listens to what you want and always does an excellent job. As a service provider she is always prompt and texts you if she is going to be earlier or later than your scheduled appointment. She has even memorized the color I use for the past 12 years! I think that says a lot about what am amazing salon owner and nail professional she is!!!
