So I came to this nail salon based on the pricing but little did I know additional charges would be added without my knowledge and only after the service was almost completed. I've gotten a full set and full pedicure with fruits and massage at a different nail salon for $75. I come here just for a fill and color change on my toes (no pedicure) and it cost me just about the same ($70). I was not informed before my color selection that it was an additional $10 for it being gel AND an additional $10 because of some chrome effect so the $20 fill turned into $40 and the color change for my toes turned out to be $30. Had I know there were additional charges BEFORE the work was done, I would have chosen differently. That seems like some sneaky stuff so I won't be back. My cousin and I came here spontaneously after eating at Rao's next door and decided to get gel manicures, as soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked what service we wanted in which we responded with us wanting a gel manicure. She sat us down quickly and worked on our nails. It was a busy Friday late morning, so it took a couple of minutes to get a spot without an appointment. This nail spa is small, yet plenty of chairs for the pedicures. They offer manicures of different options. (Acrylic, gel, 3D designs, glitter, and much more.) We were simple. We opted for the gel and added a flower. We chose the Deluxe Pedicure which included the exfoliation scrub, paraffin wax treatment, and the hot oil lotion and hot stones. It's so relaxing. They also offer waxing! Eyebrows, lips, chin, and such. I had no idea they also did legs, under arms, bikini, legs, and Brazilian! Wowza!!! Overall, a nice hidden gem in the neighborhood! They have beautiful decor. You get what you pay for. cheap nails that look cute for a day. A full set was $45 and by the second day , two nails had come completely off and by day four they were all lifting. I went back to have them repaired and the woman that helped us was very rude. I paid for the repair and was upset that we were treated so poorly. It is close to a high school so I think they must see a lot of kids, hopefully they will treat all of the customers better. I would not let my teenagers go there. read more

As I live in the neighborhood behind Bartholomew park I have been coming here for years. When it was under previous ownership (Lisa) and a different name. My go to is Theresa for pedicures. I am really picky about my pedicures, I don't like a lot of cuticle cutting and Theresa respects my wishes. She is great about exfoliation and scrubbing my feet and heels. The massages are very relaxing and feel great. Her polishes are great however not so much with designs . That's okay that is not everyone's skill. Salon seems very clean and organized well. Parking is easy to get in and out of. I loved that they opened early since it seems many nail salons in Elk Grove are often so full often. I did a walk-in and came in right when they opened. Sylvia did my gel mani today, and I can not remember the other 2 ladies who assisted with my standard pedi and wax but ALL were so good at what they do. QUALITY!!! And for a good price. Received a gel mani, standard(but kinda fancy) pedi and face wax all for under $87 without tip included yet, but the ladies sure deserve the tip here. Since I don't go too often I think it's a great deal. Had a nice foot buff and scrub here, very relaxing, it really felt like a spa experience. I came here a few years to get pedicure, the nail tech was very nice but as she was cutting my toes it started to get painful. I didn't say anything because i thought it was supposed to be normal and pain was supposed to go away. But no. Ever since i got my toes done there my 2 of my toes have grown an ingrown nail. My nail tech was really nice. But the shape was not what I asked for. She filed my nails so hard it cut me and then ripped out a hang nail leaving a super deep gash in my finger, which is extremely painful. The filing job was uneven and the paint was extremely messy. I went back and asked to be cleaned up and she spent maybe 5 min trying to fix it but it ended up looking worse because she had another client. Friendly but not efficient. Service is always 10/10 here. I like to bring my family here to get our nails done. We bounce between the standard and deluxe pedicure options. Both come with paraffin wax treatment but the deluxe comes with a 10 minute massage. All the nails techs are nice and friendly providing you the best service. Although if you go on a weekend, expect a bit of a wait as they are normally booked in the mornings. I like to call ahead and ask if they have an opening available but as i said before expect a wait on the weekends. They also welcome walk ins if they have the time or you don't mind waiting a bit. Great service...been coming here for a long time...my 9 year old daughter loves coming here and getting her nails done too. She loves how they paint her big toes with flowers for no extra charge. They do a great job with the nails and we enjoy the massage chairs and the foot/leg massages with the pedicures. I've had nothing but good experiences at this salon. I typically come in on Monday or Friday mornings right when they open since I live 2 minutes away and they've been able to accommodate me quickly with or without an appointment at that time. And I've gotten seen fairly on time when I've made an appointment in the past. I've had my pedicures done by Michael and Amy and they both do an exceptional and thorough job. I never feel rushed when they're serving me. Michael keeps his head down and gets the job done, but in a good way because I do like my peace and quiet during a pedicure lol. Amy is always so kind and takes the time to talk to you without being overbearing. She even took the extra time to fix my pedicure one day when I dropped my phone on my foot immediately after it was done without extra charge. The standard gel pedicure came out to $40, which I believe is well justified given the care I received. So far, I haven't had a reason to stop coming yet. My mom and I just started coming here earlier this year and we will forever be returning customers. My go-to tech / friend is Mary, but unfortunately she took some time off for school. (You go girl!) It's clean and does have Covid-19 safety precautions which is great! They clean their work space and also grabbing new sterile nail equipment after every client. The restroom and the back room is very well kept too. I recommend booking an appointment before coming in because the wait times can get pretty long and annoying, but fortunately I've never experienced that. My second time at this location. I live across the street. I did a simple walk-in manicure. They didn't seem too busy but the girl that did my nails was clearly in a rush. She didn't go under my nails with the clearing tool. She didn't even file the tips to smooth the rough edges. She did one coat of polish then a top coat and rushed me off to the table to dry. I waited till they were dry to ask for a file to finish what she started. The fist chair sat me down and finished then gave me another top coat. I said thank you, I appreciate it. As I paid, I noticed the front desk didn't offer a loyalty card that she offered others before me or if I wanted to make an appointment for next time (which I actually planned on doing before the crap job). I let the businesses earn my loyalty/money and this one completely missed the mark. Poor service with no attempt to make right where there was complete disregard of customer care. I know I don't look like the regular clientele so I won't leave that out as a reason for the poor service. They certainly won't have to worry about me going there ever again. read more

I went into this business for the first time today for a dip powder service. The salon was descent, however the lady began to dermal away my dip powder on my nails while also ripping it off. She never used foul and cotton to remove the dip first. This resulted in my nail bed bleeding. I literally walked out if this salon after only the tech touching 2 or 3 if my nails. This place doesn't know what they are doing and wasn't honest enough to say. Instead she hurt me, damaged my nails and pissed me off. read more

I haven't had my nails done in over two years. For the past 4 years I would get tips, gel color and dipped powder nails. My nails would break really bad and take a long time to heal. All the constant buffing and peeling my nails had to go through left them so weak. My cuticles also were out of control. My nail appointment was a spur-of-the-moment. I had already cut my nails short and if I had known I was getting my nails done, I would have kept them long. Anyways, after searching on Yelp I came across this salon with fairly decent and recent reviews. I called when they opened to make a reservation for 2 manicures. The lady on the phone told me to come at 12 pm. I didn't ask for anyone specific to get our nails done. My sister and I have never been to this salon. I opted for a gel polish, I'm Blushing (I think the number is 173, I forgot the brand). My sister got dipped nails. I opted to get a flower design after my nail lady recommended it, for $5 more. I was nervous when she started cutting into my cuticles. Usually I would have my cuticles pushed instead of cutting them. I felt like she cut too much skin but not enough that it stung, it just felt raw. She kept cutting even after she filed my nails. I had already shaped my nails but she still kept filing away. My lady didn't talk to me, which is fine by me as I was talking to my sister. My nails were done before my sister. My sister got dipped nails. She told me the way they applied the dipped powder was different compared to other salons. Typically a white or pink powder base is applied with the bonder/sealer prior to any colors added. But they didn't do this to her nails. She said she'll go back to this salon if their dipped powder method makes her manicure last the usual 3 weeks. My nails were $25 plus $5 for the design and with tip, $40. My sister's came out to be $45. Both prices are very reasonable compared to other salons. There are barriers at each manicure and pedicure stations. They had a sign at the door requiring face masks before entering. But several customers and nail salon workers didn't wear a mask. read more

My go to nail salon in Elk Grove. The staff here are friendly and offer great service. They don't rush you and always do a meticulous job. Any of the ladies or gentlemen that work there do a fantastic job. The technician that normally does my manicures & pedicures is Michael. He is extremely careful and does a perfect job every time. Nails and cuticles are trimmed and shaped the way I like and gel polished is applied carefully. There was a time I came in at 6:30 and asked for a manicure and pedicure. I figured it would be a rushed job, Michael stayed until 7:30 (shop closes at 7). Despite having to stay an additional 30 minutes, he still did quality work! This place is pretty busy even during COVID so highly recommend making an appointment. They have all safety precautions in place including plastic walls between you and the nail technicians and plastic walls in between pedicure stations - and of course everyone wears masks. You also watch them sanitize the stations and the seats in between customers so they are doing a great job. I love one of the technicians Mary in particular. If you get your nails done with any frequency you know you just latch on to people you love and for me she does my pink/white fills the best. During COVID i didn't go to a nail salon for a year and used plastic press on nails - which ruined my nails.
