Book an appointment over the phone. Seemed like the person spoke very good English. There is parking lot that has some parking but a little small. Nina did a good job with taking off my old nails and putting on a full set. She made my finger nails nice and skinny to look good with the French tip and chrome. She's a very cute sweet young lady. But her English is very broken so it's kind of hard to understand her sometimes. She charged me ($70) for a full set. Not bad. But walking in the salon was very hot and half of the lights turned off. I assume that they were just trying to save some money on the electricity bill. I made a comment about being hot. Nina was nice enough to give me her little table fan and close the door to turn on the AC. I definitely think having lights on and keeping it cool for customers to enjoy a nail salon helps with business but that's just my opinion.
I really wanted to give this place a great review because everyone was genuinely so nice and welcoming. When we first arrived, they were very friendly and seated us right away for our pedicures. I was also getting dip powder on my natural nails. The pedicure was great and super relaxing. They were getting a lot of phone calls and were clearly very busy, which I actually think is a great sign and didn't bother me at all. Unfortunately, things went downhill when it was time for my dip powder. While removing the old dip from my pinky nail, the technician drilled way too much and actually drilled a hole into my natural nail, leaving it extremely thin. Another technician came over and took over the rest of my nails. She was very quick with the entire process, to the point where it felt rushed. I trusted that she knew what she was doing, so I let her do her thing. However, my entire dip powder service took only about 30 minutes, and once I got home and really looked at my nails, I was pretty disappointed with how messy they looked. My cuticles were not cleaned up well, and there was dip powder stuck all over my skin and cuticles. The overall finish just didn't look as neat or polished as I'm used to. My pinky is also still painful and extremely sensitive from being over-drilled. I've been getting dip powder on my natural nails for a long time, and my nails are naturally pretty strong. I've never had a nail technician drill through my natural nail like this before. I want to emphasize that everyone I interacted with was extremely sweet and kind, and I really appreciate how welcoming they were. Unfortunately, the quality of the dip service and the damage to my natural nail overshadowed the otherwise great experience. I'm not sure if I'll be back, but I genuinely hope they take this feedback constructively because the staff really are lovely.

This is the best nail shop in Elk Grove by far. Very clean and the atmosphere is amazing. The aroma is very pleasant. The Staff all work together with a plethora of smiles. They aim to please each individual person. They will not disappoint you. If you have not been to this location, it's right across the street from Save Mart on Elk Grove Florin Road. Stop in and check it out for yourself. The pedicure number 2 is awesome. The manicure is amazing. I will definitely be back.
Amazing job and so welcoming! Tom and Mai did excellent on my manicure and love them so much. Emily was very welcoming and she continued to make sure everything is done and however how the customer would like it. Overall, the employees are nice and would come again!!!
I've been meaning to leave this review for a year but I cannot recommend this nail salon enough!! They are all fabulous, nice and reasonable priced! My girl Tracy is the BESTTT! I mean the BEST! She's the one that recommended I try hybrid gel over dip and I will never go back! My nails rarely break and last 3-4 weeks!! I love it and she does the BEST designs, see the pictures!! Don't hesitate and go see the great ladies at Rose Nail & Spa now!
I have been coming to Rose Nails for a while now to get my nails done. Initially I saw whoever was available when I would call to make my appointments. Until Selena (not sure if that's how she spells it) started doing my nails...now I won't go to anyone else! She is so awesome and always does an amazing job. I bring her a picture of what I would like and she nails it (ha, get it?) every time!! There are also days like today where I couldn't decide what I wanted so I am happy to give her free reign! She takes her time in getting them right and puts so much effort into making them just perfect. Selena is also very artistic and can pretty much do anything! I'm so glad to have found her and Rose Nails!! The vibe is also very chill in there and the owner will usually offer a bottle of water which is so appreciated. This is my place from here on out!!

The shop changed a bit and looked so good!! She even said they're doing one more renovation/upgrade of the spa chairs. Everyone was super nice & they took their time. I chatted with Emily about how long it had been and it was funny because her son actually came in & he was so big!
I'm so impressed with Rose Nail Salon! My french builder‑gel manicure turned out gorgeous, and the attention to detail was incredible. They had the perfect shade of nude pink for my base and their French lines were precisely what I asked for too! Everyone there was kind and welcoming, and they really took their time to make sure everything looked perfect and exactly what I wanted. Five stars for sure! Love the vibes and the staff!! Thank you Emily and LeAnne for such great work !
My first time going since it was recommended by friend. I got the paradise gel pedicure and manicure, it was great until I noticed that my manicure started chipping right away. Usually my gel manicure last a couple weeks and this time it only lasted 3 days which is upsetting for the price I paid. The girls were okay. I feel like they aren't that welcoming and the acknowledgement needs to improve. I will most likely not be returning but best of luck with business.

I went here Mother's Day Weekend on a Saturday. This was my first time patronizing this location and I will say that it is an experience I will not forget anytime soon. I called the day before to schedule an appointment and the guy who answered the phone was very professional, took my name and helped me work out a time that was best for me and my mother to come in the next day. The next day when I arrived, we were quickly ushered to sit in our chairs (for a pedicure) and even given water as we were able to enjoy the massage chairs. The staff doing our pedicures were very friendly and attentive to doing exactly what we requested. The aesthetics of this shop is very pleasing as the shop itself is clean, neat and orderly. They also have a myriad of options for nail polish colors. I ended up selecting a gel nail polish, which at the time of writing this review, a month later, is still intact on my toe nails. (I know - I need another pedicure soon. lol) I will say the price was a little bit costly compared to other places I have been, however, that may be because we selected one of the highest packages. Either way, my mother enjoyed the shop and even upon leaving the guy at the register, welcomed us to come back by giving us a 10% off our next service coupon. I will say due to the friendly staff, the clean environment and all of the safety protocols that they take to make sure that you get a clean experience, I would definitely visit the shop again. It's definitely worth the visit. read more

Lots of working massage chairs for the pedicures, pleasant scent when there's not acrylics next to you. Lemon water for nail soaking was pleasant. Decor was cute with fake roses on mirror window frames. Staff were very nice and focused on customers, not gossiping but actually working. Vietnamese speaking as well. Nail techs were quick and experienced. Agree with another review that there's not a lot of leg massage. Beautiful selection of nail colors. I did gel and cat eye mani pedicure plus waxing eyebrows and upper lip total for $93 plus tip. I was also offered water in between my services. Bathroom was fine but no hook to put your stuff. read more

I have been going to this place for 2 years now. Helen is my go-to person for both pedicure and manicure. Helen pays attention to detail from cleanliness to nail design. Customer sevice is great. The owners are very friendly like family. Their pricing is very reasonable too. read more

I got my nails done with Minh (Insta: l.minh1206) because I saw all the amazing reviews and I was not disappointed. I got a full acrylic set with cat eye and glitter accents for $65 and he was so friendly and took his time to get them right. His wife also does amazing nails and the next time I'm looking for nail art I'll ask for her (insta: selenadoesnails_) The salon is large and clean and everyone is very nice. I also got a pedicure with gel polish but the color selection wasn't very large so If you're looking for a specific gel pedi, you might not find the color you're looking for. Will definitely come back for my manicures! read more

The service was super fast (only about 25 mins), the nail art looks really clumped together and messy compared to the reference photo I showed. The color match was on my part, and they were nice, but I feel they didn't take their time on my nails. read more

I get my nails done here by Selena. She always does quality work when I ask for a complex design. Some times I come in with an inspiration picture and other times I ask for a color to match my outfit and she freestyles. Worth the cost every time. Her schedule gets booked up fast so I make appointments ahead of time, especially when I know I have an event coming up. read more

This is the second time I've been to Rose Nails in Elk Grove. Both times have been amazing! Minh @l.minh1206 did this set of Hello Kitty Nails for me and I'm in love. These photos don't do the set justice. Minh was fast, friendly and did a perfect set of nails! It was like he was reading my mind!! I'll be booking my next appointment soon!! I came here for the first time after rave reviews from a family member. My first appt. was nice, I got a pedicure and gel manicure. I left satisfied with the color application and service. Everyone is friendly but it's an act and it allows for sloppy work when you go in for a fix. Unfortunately after a few days my big toes both chipped and my nails on one hand started to peel. Guessing the gel was not cured properly. I went back and they fixed it but it was sloppy and done to get me out. My daughter also had a pedicure after me and same issue, toes started to lose color from tips. My family that referred me also had same issues with her and her daughter, daughter had nail application and they fell off within a week. Had them redone and same thing happened ag We get our nails done regularly at 2 other local salons and have never had these kind of issues. Their work is good, the first time around. They need to do quality control on the products they use, otherwise they will not have return guests. They lost 4 of us pretty quickly. read more

I've been going to the salon for years on and off. Everyone is amazing and welcoming and the prices are so worth the service! As of late I decided to commit to acrylics again and that's when I found Minh. He is a freakin MAGICIAN with the nails. I can't rate this place or Minh high enough. Go in with any idea for nails and he'll find a way to make it happen! read more

Emily did such a great job with my hybrid gel mani, I brought in work from another salon and she helped me reshaped them and kept my tips intacted.
