I absolutely LOVE getting my nails done by Ashley! I've been going to her for over 4 years now, and she never disappoints. The shop is always spotless and the entire staff is super welcoming. Ashley herself is incredibly friendly, attentive, and so accommodating as I am always all over the place with my nail art -- she takes her time and makes me feel well taken care of every single visit. I went in today for a pedicure the entire place felt like they were in a hurry because they were low staff. I am a busy mom so I understand the need to do a million things at once but when I am paying $67 for my pedicure and get painted like a chop shop it's frustrating. It felt like the lady attending me was distracted looking and talking to everyone coming in and out wanting walk ins. Wait 15 mins wait 10 min I can tell you everyone's schedule at this point it was not a relaxing luxe experience. I left my chair quickly after her telling me she was done then got home and examined my toes looking like my 2 year old could have painted them. I had trusted them and didn't think I needed to check them up close in store but honestly I've gone to cheaper places with way better results. Horrible customer service, Rushed outcome. I will be going tomorrow and asking for a refund or at least making them fix this because this has to be a joke. Maybe im going to need to hold her hand how I do my toddler so she isn't distracted. My mom and I visited Luxe Nail Spa for mother/daughter time to bring in 2024. Found this cute shop on Yelp, with good reviews. We came at lunch, and was not at all busy. No wait time on NYE?!?! How did we hit this magical jackpot?!? It Mom's first time. She enjoyed her experience. She absolutely loves her gold glitter pedicure color! Best daughter the year goes to me :) My mom went for the basic pedicure. Myself being a lil bougie, went with the spa pedicure (?) With additional $10 for gel. My package includes paraffin treatment, hot stones, hot towel on top of the basic My tech Kate was great and very sweet! My Color of choice: Color #112- green apple like gel color, unsure of name. I'm really loving this color! I really loved the laid back vibe, pleasant staff, and a relaxing/chill experience getting pedis with mama bear. I can see why Luxe get such reviews. Went in for a basic pedicure, but the girl suggested I consider the next level up? Which she said would be better for my feet. Boy was it! Massage buff and hot rock on my legs all help with my dry a cracked feet and calf's. I told the owner I will be back. And I will. This place seems very low key and concerned about doing what you ask for. read more

Had a "gel x" manicure and gel polish pedicure. Requested almond-shaped gel x nails. One fingernail chipped off that same night, and two more chipped off the second day. And on day four after my pedicure, one whole nail was completely free of any gel polish, and two toenails were peeling/chipped. I've never had such a low quality mani/pedi set before like these. I went somewhere else to redo my manicure and the nail tech mentioned that they weren't gel x nails at all. She stated they used builder gel with nail tips. I've only had one gel x manicure a long time ago and do now notice that this salon used a different technique. This salon used fake nail tips to attach to the finger tips of nails, topped with builder gel. Compared to the last salon I went to for gel x nails, where they glued fake nails to the whole nail bed and cured it. Are they both called gel x nails? Who knows, I'm no expert. All in all, I would not recommend going here unless you want your nails to last 5 hours to four days. Workers were nice though. read more

If you just need a new touch-up pedicure, this place will do. I paid $70 for the second package, which includes gel pedicure and basic manicure. Unfortunately, my nail tech didn't do a good job on my hand cuticles and my feet. Overall, I was not satisfied with the service of the package itself that was performed. read more

Really friendly staff who does a great job! Not all salons take their time to make sure your nails are clean and symmetrical but they sure do here! It was my first time in and I was the only one who was not a regular, so you know they do good business! I showed my girl a picture of what I wanted and got exactly that! $65 for a full set isn't terrible for the quality you get. I live 2 minutes away and will be back! read more

It's very seldom when I take time out for any kind of grooming or pampering session. So when my BF suggested that we stop off here at his favorite nail spa to get a pedicure, I had to mentally convince myself that I deserved a break. After all, this was one of our busy errand days. But since he was "footing the bill", I gave in pretty quickly! LOL! I'm so glad I did! It has been such a long time since I had a luxury spa like procedure, especially on my neglected feet! We both chose the complete package, which included a warm foot bath, foot scrub, pedicure and then a lotion massage. I also added on the application of nail polish & protective gel coating for an additional nominal fee. We sat in comfortable massage chairs during the whole 60 minute session. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. Luckily we arrived at a good time, so we were admitted right away with no wait. The facility was very nice and well maintained. I felt like we were in competent hands, especially during Covid protocols. It was such a nice and relaxing beginning to our day. I even felt rejuvenated! This was my first time here after driving by this place for years. Once I entered, I was a little nervous since trying new shops give me such anxiety. I was greeted right away by the friendly staff-each of them all saying hello as I walked in. I was seated right away and the first tech got to work right away. My second tech (Joyce) did exactly what I wanted from the picture I showed her. She took her time, asked me if there was anything I didn't like and made sure to continuously check on each nail to make sure it was perfect. I know Joyce knew I was nervous about my nails by the look on my face () but she reassured me everything was going to turn out fine. The set itself was $70 which I thought was pretty reasonable. I've done this set before elsewhere and was charged more for it. Overall, the experience was great, the atmosphere was nice and peaceful, and the workers there had the best customer service. I would definitely come back here again for my next set! read more

Post Covid-19 the salons are finally open and I'm so excited!! Obviously I was nervous to visit, especially since, supposedly, the first CA case originated from a nail salon...BUT Luxe is taking many precautions. I made an appointment with my regular technician and she had me text her when I arrived. I waited in my car until she was able to sanitize and prepare a chair for me. I was also required to wear a mask and my temperate was checked when I walked in. The service was pretty much the same, other than the sneeze guards that were put up at each station. The salon was significantly less crowded as well. I was one of two customers along side three technicians. I felt like the experience was much more relaxing due to the open space and my pedicure wasn't rushed. After my service, my technician sanitized and wiped the station we were at before collecting my payment and sending me on my way. Luxe is taking great precautions and I'm looking forward to coming back in a few weeks! read more

New to the Sac/Elk Grove area and was looking for a nail salon. Mani: Just Meh. The shaping of my natural nails wasn't great. I purposely don't get my nails painted because it never lasts (and I'm not interested in maintaining the upkeep of gel). I use a gel polish stickers and press-ons at home, so I go in for a monthly routine maintenance and shaping. My nails are usually really long (naturally) but they happened to all break in my move so I needed a reshape [almond]. It's always telling for me whether a nail salon can work with natural nails or not. I wasn't impressed. Pedicure: It was fine. Nothing special. Noticed some thinning spots happening on my toenails that evening. Salon: The place was clean. They opened new packaging tools for each client. Used plastic covers for the foot tubs. Lots of nail color selections. Service was quick....maybe too quick. Overall I may come again for a basic pedicure just because it's close. But I wouldn't actually want to. Still looking for a place for my natural nails. read more

My first time here & really enjoyed it! Cristina was up for my challenge & Iike that! She gives a good hand/arm massage & also wipe down w/ a warm towel! Service was great, she was on time & took her time thoroughly w/ everything! Glad they're close, love the decor & cleanliness! Everyone was professional. Another tech even offered me candy! Before every step, they would always ask to make sure I am satisfied with the shape, color and finish. Don't walk, run to Lux nail spa on Calvine Road. Their service is always the best. Not only that their music is super relaxing and their massage chairs work amazingly! I'm so thankful my best friend told me about this gem! I made an appointment with Christina a week in advance. When I arrived to my appointment 10 mins early she was waiting for me. So already I'm loving it because I didn't have to wait. She was super gentle with my nails and professional. I admired how she took her time but at the same time was quick. I have dip nails and i was in and out within the hour. And as others have mentioned they have EVERY color possible! The decor inside is super modern, cute and clean. Something about a clean look just instantly makes you feel relaxed. Another thing that I appreciated was how organized everything was! 2 pedicures for $110 Not a bad place. The girls working there seemed pretty nice. I would go somewhere else for the same services, done slightly better and costs less. Seems like the lady working on me was rushing thru the service and the lady working on my friend was taking her time. Cash tips only and the lady requested that we paid thru Venmo. Not everyone has Venmo. Thankfully I just started using Venmo. Not a bad spot if you're looking for a quick pedicure. I'll return here someday in the future to give them my business again. The shop is really nice, no wait time. Ashley did my nails, it was supposed to be white but its like a transparent white which is not what i asked for. She stated dip powder gel is the best for me so we went with that, and there's missing spots on the nail that she missed. I probably would not come back. read more

So I'm always coming here from now on for a good foot massage and thorough pedicure. Lilly was gentle and firm when she needed to be. The jelly pedicure was a new experience and I will be adding this to the bi weekly rotation. The location is in the plaza across from Sam's club. This location also serves children with their very own Elsa chair! The price is comparable to other spas and they offer a myriad of services. I rarely get my nails done at a salon, but I received a gift certificate for here. The experience was okay. I called in the morning to see if they had availability for the evening and still waited about 40 minutes when I arrived. It was my first time getting a full set. The guy was nice and it turned out well. I wish it was a little longer but I guess I didn't know it would get filed down a lot. I also got a basic pedicure which was ok. My big toe was messed up so I told the lady but she blamed it on the slipper because the nail polish wasn't dried yet but I didn't even move. She tried to paint over it then she removed the polish and re-did it but it still was not cute. I speak their language so I understood what they were saying to the other staff. Probably won't do a pedicure here again since I could do a better job. Overall, decent spot. I noticed they do a lot of walk ins so that's nice. read more

I've been here 3 times. I come to get a regular manicure & pedicure (no acrylic). The first time was amazing. I forgot the name of the lady who did my nails, but she took her time with my cuticles & shaped my nails perfectly! The massages were nice as well. She was short with a brown bob. The second time, I don't even remember who did my nails but I hated them lol they seemed rushed & the my cuticles looked tacky. The polish was lumpy as well. So, I came back like a week later & got them fixed by Amy. Amy did my nails soooo good. They're in the picture. I'll keep coming here. I just have to stick with Amy or the lady w the bob when I go lol read more

Her new location is in old Elk Grove. Big win for me because it's even closer in distance! She's in a cute updated Victorian home converted to house a few businesses. They have a small private parking lot. It's enough for their clients. Street parking is also available. If you have time to kill, there are many other small Mom and Pop shops and a few restaurants on this street in old Elk Grove, all walking distance. When you walk in the door there's a lobby/waiting area. Upon entering, Danika quickly came down to greet me and bring me upstairs to her space. It's so feminine and I love it! Great clean smell, bright airy room, glittery walls, acrylic seating, low key, quiet and relaxing. I was in and out in 15-20 minutes! That includes prep, wax, pluck and clean up. And it's always been this way. Not a rush job at all. She's just really fast and efficient at what she does. All the while we are having great conversation, easing the process, and catching up on each other's lives. I couldn't have asked for better service! It's extremely easy to schedule an appointment with Danika by text. She's always very responsive and has a pretty flexible schedule and has always been able to accommodate a convenient appointment.
