Super upsetting with my last experience. Before the expansion they were lovely and if they made a mistake they had no issues with sorting it out. Now per the conversation I just had with the owner "only five day guarantee " Sucks because I have been coming here for a while now, I send people all over the country visiting Sacramento there. They rush so they cut me multiple times and they were on the phone the entire time which is why I believe my nails only after a week and half are chipped. ... I'm beyond disappointed. This was my second time trying this place, and somehow the experience was even worse. I came in for a T.A.P gel hybrid fill after checking their website, which clearly says $53+. I told the guy at the front exactly what I needed, and he sat me down. Simple enough, right? Wrong. The nail tech immediately starts using acrylic powder. I stopped her and told her my nails are T.A.P hybrid and that's the fill I wanted. I've spent a long time repairing my nails from acrylic damage and I actively avoid it (I even think I have a sensitivity to it because my nails hurt every time). She basically brushed it off and told me she "had to" use powder anyway. At that point I should've walked out, but I didn't want to cause a scene..big mistake. Then comes the pricing. Their own website says acrylic fills start at $45+. So explain to me why I'm being charged almost $80 for an acrylic fill?? Yes, I understand designs and French tips cost extra, but that price jump is ridiculous and not clearly communicated at all. When I questioned it, the guy at the front looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about, talked to someone else, and then came back with $71 like that was supposed to make sense. No explanation. No accountability. Just attitude. I paid and left because I wasn't about to argue in a room full of people, but let me be very clear. I definitely will not be giving this place a third try. Between the lack of communication, ignoring what I asked for, and the sketchy pricing, this place is absolutely not worth it. read more

Cherry is the best nail tech you could ask for. I rarely used to get my nails done and I came here a few months ago, I was so lucky she did my nails that first day. She listens to her clients and helps you figure out exactly what you want. She's extremely talented and can do any design you show her. I am now I'm addicted to getting fun sets. The salon is also very beautiful and it has a wonderful vibe to it. I definitely recommend this place and I tell everyone I know to go see her. I promise you will not be disappointed. read more

I visited Dazzling Nail & Spa for a pedicure. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but overall the service felt just okay for the price. I honestly felt like I didn't receive the full service I paid for. The callus removal wasn't very thorough, I expected smoother results. On top of that, their gel polish selection really needs to be updated. The first color I chose wasn't available, and even the second option was out, which was frustrating when you're trying to pick a look. There were also small flies/gnats around while I was there, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. I do appreciate the kindness of the staff, but I hope they can improve by refreshing their gel polish options, providing the full service advertised, and making sure the environment feels clean and fresh. I don't have a go to person but that is because each tech has provided great service and are all so nice and attentive. They have a lot of color selections as well. Kay was my nail tech she was very attentive and patience as I was super undecided with shape and color. I came in for a hard gel fill from another salon with round medium/long length nails. I needed up going with a file down almond shape cat eye! Loved it. It's been years since I did a cat eye and she let me try on a few colors and designs Oh and I brought my 4 year old. The staff was very nice to him he even got his own little station to draw and eat fruits The salon is really big. The ceilings are tall. Very bold ceilings but somehow is so very well lit. I got my nails done for the first time here. I was so excited and was told to sit down. My nail tech was this guy ( I forgot his name) seemed nice at first but didn't talked to me at all during our session and I showed him what I wanted ( pink cateye) and gave me something completely different which was a seashell color. I felt that he rushed the whole experience. My sister came with me and only got a pedicure done at the same time I was doing mines and her pedicure took longer than my manicure. How is that possible if he was just rushing the whole process. Also he cut my cuticles so deep that it bled. They also charged me an extra for doing my nails wrong too. I have been to this place plenty of times and have had great service but today was not one of those days. I asked for a basic manicure to clean up my cuticles and tips for short nails (my nails keep splitting). The tech and I reach an understanding that we'll go with powder. Then the owner (owner) I'm assuming keeps asking me if full set, so I tell him my nails are going to be super short. So they go with full set-fine, whatever. The tech then proceeds to shape my nails-wide squared. So I kindly tell her I never requested this shape and I want a more oval natural look. She appears to get upset bc she starts going at my nails aggressively. Then to top it all off my nails aren't even the same length!! So when I ask what's the price difference between full set and powder for the little bit of extra length I was informed that it was the same. I don't have a problem paying for the services provided so long as it is for services that I request. I don't think that it should be a problem voicing how I want my nails to look, it's coming out of my pockets. I will never return to this place again. read more

From mixing nail polishes and redoing the builder nail gel, she made sure my nails looked exactly like the inspo photos. I'm late in posting this but I wanted to share these incredibly cute nails that were painstakingly painted by Tammy.,I have had so many compliments this month and they really are adorable! While painstakingly painted, the service did not take long at all! I was incredibly surprised that getting a fill and having designs painted on each one of my nails only took an hour. The Santa alone would usually take someone quite a bit of time.. All hand painted no stickers. Everyone is super friendly. I've been going there for years. I moved from the CRC area to Carmichael about two years ago and just could not find a place that I was happy with. I make the trip to Delta Shores because it's completely worth it. Went in for a color change had nail tech, Jennifer. She was doing it really fast and then sucking her teeth and having an attitude when my toenail would smudge onto the other one or any minor inconvenience she would suck her teeth and that was so unprofessional. I never had this issue with another nail tech. I've gotten pedicures here plenty of times and they've been great. Just a specific nail tech was in a rush, even though there was no one in the salon only few people. Do not recommend getting her for pedicures. read more

Today I came on for a fill and my index nail was cracked underneath the fake nail and when the cashier/ nail technician started to file my nails I complained that it hurts and could he hold my nail in the middle while he filed and told me he didn't feel comfortable doing my nails then he stopped in the middle of my service and said thank you and walked off when I asked him could he just be gentle while filing my nails. So I will not come back to this nail salon as he and his 2 week old (newbie) nail technician cannot do nails with gentleness. He and his shop gets no stars from me. Poor service and disrespectful. After going here for years, I will not be coming back. I called in to make an appointment at 4:30. I showed up and had to wait another 30 mins. I was skipped by someone who just walked in. I got a fill and asked "Cherry" to get one of my toe nails fixed after. She said she would charge extra to fix it and I said, that's not a problem. I have a French Tip, and assumed it would be quick to just touch up just one toe.. she then proceeded to say they were too busy and that other people had appointments, well so did I... I feel like my loyalty and support to this business just ended bc someone couldn't take an extra 5 minutes to touch up something super quick. She then proceeded to make condescending comments when I paid, "ohh you have a Costco card, they have high limits" what's that supposed to mean? Usually this is my go to spot and my nails last me 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately I was just here on 5/17 and the next day one of my acrylics had already fallen off. Today on Tuesday 5/20, two more nails fell off way too easily. Since 3 of the acrylics fell off so easily I didn't want just 7 nails so I was able to peel the rest off so easily as if they were press ons. I am highly dissatisfied with the quality this time around and I only work an office job so it's not like I put wear and tear on my nails, there should be no reason they fell off so easily. read more
