Current Pedi Prices --- 30, 45, 55 I've gone a couple times and it's been good. The last time, however, the nail tech pushed the $55 and I just wanted the middle one-- $45. I sat in the furthest pedi chair from the entrance and I just kept hearing "You are being recorded" over and over, throughout the service. I've had many pedis in my time and there's a usual order to it in regards to massage, paraffin, clean and paint nails... This was a out of order that what I'm accustomed to but it worked out. Same outcome. I just found it odd. But why was I charged $55 when I asked for the $45 treatment? I don't remember what the difference in treatments were but I'm pretty sure I asked for the $45 one because I had to repeat myself several times and what I got was what I believed to be the $45 treatment. What a experience for my parents and my girls . I took them all for pedicures on Mother's day. The ladies very sweet kind professional and patient with my little one. It was her 1st pedicure ever her being special its hard for her to stay still. This was my dad second time coming to do a pedicure. He dont like his feet touched lol but now he is older its hard for him to bend an cut his toes. Walked in and they accommodated a somewhat complicated design. I did get nicked twice and I thought that my hands would get soaked before the service to prevent that a bit. I could tell that the nail tech hasn't had much experience with ombré but she picked it up fast. My nails have been on for a week so far with some lifting. My cuticles were in pretty bad shape so I was hoping they would help with that with a soak and cuticle trim before jumping right into the acrylics. However, I will say they did a phenomenal job on the daredevil logo and after the first ombre nail they did smooth. I've gotten lots of compliments but I think I'm ready for something else :) read more

Cons: -chairs were outdated taped up and the massage chairs lacked any kind of pressure . -lack of design options and thing to add on to nails (gems, glitter hearts, letters) Pros: -Wasn't pressured into getting gel on toes. -The woman who helped me was so sweet. Her massage was okay. But maintenance she provided was amazing . - coulda be a con depending on what type of person you are , but they are not talkativeAT ALL . I was able to listen to an audio book while in there, uninterrupted. I opted for the special pedicure. Wasn't giving an option scent . Came in as a walk in the evening , looking forward to relax and enjoy a treat myself day. The lady that completed my toes went super quick (under 30 minutes) , did not even nicely file and shape my nails at all, I still have polish on skin. I'm starting to notice a trend with multiple nail salons using nail drill machine to clean up cuticles on toes . I hope more salons look up what does a manicure and pedicure means vs acrylic set when using nail drill machines . Sanitation also concerns me here as she double dip the brush into acetone . Will I come back? No , I'm glad that I did not get the premium pedicure , as I was debating back and forth between deluxe and premium package . I still tip her due to the heart that I have in consideration for labor, but no extra for the service . Why did I not speak up? Simple , if she did not want to make it right the first time out of her action , what is the point ? Especially, with the rushing actions , it does not make me feel comfortable to even ask her to do it right so I can get my money worth. Should you come ? 3.5 stars: I've been coming to H & Nails off and on for about 3 years now. I don't have a preferred technician, so this is general. Things I like: Price: this place has good value for what you pay. I typically do a gel pedi and dip mani on natural nails and that's usually around the $75 mark with the two devices combined. I might be slightly off...maybe $85 at most before tip? It's been a few months since I've been back so I can't be too sure but anyways... many people pay double that for a (fancy) manicure alone! Efficiency: they work quick. I can be done in 90 flat. Love that for me and the other people who have places to go and people to see. Selection: it's pretty solid. I've been to places with more options, for sure, but I'm not complaining here. Longevity: I literally only go every 4-6 weeks and typically because my nails just get too long for me to function, not because something breaks/breaks off. Things I Dislike: Quality & Attention to Detail: I alwaysssss have to go home and clean up my nails. And maybe I need to pay for a better manicure options, but there is pretty much no nail prep short or taking off what was once there. And the amount of times I've had polish up the sides and beds of my nails... come on. Then I have to attack that with a nail clipper or file? We can't spent an extra 2-3 minutes checking and cleaning up our work? If the quality and attention to detail was better, it'd be an easy 4.5 star review. In general, I like this place. Would I recommend it to others? Idk, maybe... with a couple of caveats. But I'm gonna keep going and maybe just be pickier when I'm in the seat. Something to note: I never do designs. First time here. Family recently came by and said it was okay. Mom wanted a medi pedi so we came here with big kid. Big kid got a pedicure. Our appointment was scheduled for 3 pm, we arrived early and waited. Got two deluxe pedicure with regular nail polish and mom got gel for her manicure. Mom and big kid was seated as scheduled. Inside it had a very strong chemical odor. I gave this place 3 stars due to big kids toe nails were done very poorly and mom's was okay. When asked to redo big kid's two big toes another lady other than the one who worked on her came by and put another coat on top which it didn't make it any better. The lady who did my mom's seemed to have done a decent job. It wasn't as sloppy as big kid. Didn't catch any of the staffs names. Not sure if would return here to get myself a medi pedi. read more

Cute place! Looks a little smaller than last time but cute. The only thing that threw me off was that they say nails start at $40 and out of no where they jumped up $30 but they dont explain why or what each thing costs. Called before hand to ask if they do soak offs since I had previously gone to another shop to get one where they used a nail tip to pop them off and that hurt. Well they told me they did do soak offs so I drove that way expecting a soak off. I came in let them know I was there to get a soak off and she right away began using tools to pop them off which HURT I asked if they weren't doing the soak off after all she said yes went to bring a bag dipped my hands in for a couple minutes then filed them a bit and proceeded to pull them off . All of my nails look horrible and are very thin thanks to this. Definitely never going back. read more

My new go to spot for my pedicures . They immediately answer the phone and have availability for you to either walk in or make an appointment. It's in the parking lot with 99c store and dds right next to wienerschnitzel. As i walked in i was promptly greeted and asked what i needed. This is the first place that didn't say "ok wait and pick a color" they simply said one moment and immediately prepared a chair for my pedicure! Chau (Nancy) was amazing she was personalable and would even let me know what someone said if they happen to speak in their language besides that let me tell you she was great with my pedicure. I chose the vip included a good foot scrub, dead skin removal, hot wax, hot rocks and a bomb maSsage. She did not rush and even when i changed my mind about color ( right before applying) she was happy to grab a selection of options of yellow. She even made sure i liked it before finishing Best of all they didn't rush me to move to a drying area or to rush and pay. Took a leap of faith as I found myself in this nail spa. I needed a pampering day. The place accepts walk-ins, I was lucky to catch a time that there were only a few chairs occupied. The nail techs and owner are super friendly and accommodating. It's clean, prices are similar with other nail spas around. They are open 7 days a week. Now for the experience, I would say that it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but I had a good time overall and I see myself as being one of the regulars just out of location convenience. As an Asian, it's very common in our culture to speak our mother tongue in front of others who don't speak the same language. It is also very common to video chat or call people while being in the presence of others. As an American, these practices are very offensive and unprofessional. So I was sitting in the luxurious massage chair getting my knead massage, I found myself included in a video call with the nail techs and their friend. I don't speak Vietnamese, I have no idea if they're talking about me (Asians always assume someone's talking about us) but I really didn't care. Just felt disappointed since the call was made right in front of working on my pedicure. My feet weren't video call ready at that point. I asked for regular polish. Turns out, it only lasts a couple of days, which they are very honest about. So I chose gel for my hands. Oof. Didn't look the same color as my toes. The nail tech notices, she was so upset about it (for me) and did a redo. We're going to blame the manufacturer since the boxes have the same codes on them. Gel manicure and pedicure done for $50+tip, including the massage chair. Discounted prices are posted in front. Please don't ask for more discounts and try to game the owner.
