First off... I am super picky about my nails, I also have very thin natural nails with very sensitive nail beds so when I say this place is great, understand it really is great! Lee has been doing my nails and I love her! She is super gentle, she never Fs up my cuticles, she always does exactly what I ask, she doesn't rush through, and she's OK with it if I fall asleep! (lol) Also, I have always had issues with artificial nails lifting super fast however, I have not had that problem since I started coming here! Michelle is great with nail art, she did my Halloween bloody tips and they are exactly how I wanted! I have also had a pedicure here. They use Tub liners so you don't ever have to worry if the tub has been properly sanitized and they don't seem to mind if you need an overlay or want gel polish on your toes. This is my favorite place for pedicures. Amy is my favorite but all the lady's do a really good job too. They take there time with your feet and always make sure your happy. So it was a last minute thing had to be at work by 1130 they opened at 9 perfect :-) did a walk in first time there a friend recommended to see Michelle. Which she had a appointment already so I settled for another girl next to Michelle station (2weeks before I went to another shop and the completely did a horrible job) I told her I wanted a fill (fiber glass) they took a looked at my nails and was shock how it was looking lol so instead of a fill I told her she can redo it completely. She took her time and since IM a massage therapist I needed my nail short she made the super short perfect length for me.(other shop said they couldn't do it that short but nail creations did :-P) She didn't no how to do the design I wanted so Michelle stopped what she was doing.g and took over she was pretty quick they girl she was working on was ok with it they're costumer service is excellent here Found my new nail shop. Michelle was awesome. She does amazing work; I'm sure everyone knows! I think the only reason why this place hardly has any yelp reviews is the fact that everyone wants to keep this hidden gem to themselves. The more popular this place gets, the more booked Michelle gets and the more unobtainable she'll be! I definitely recommend her but I have to say the other girls are great too. They work hard on those pedicures! I also got my lashes done and they looked amazing. In addition to all of that, I also got my nails done by Michelle and my nails not only looked but felt great. (I apologize for my poor quality picture. I took it a very long time ago on a very old phone.) She noticed that I had naturally nice nail beds so she recommended that I get gel polish instead of acrylic nails. I've gotten acrylic before and they messed up my real nails very badly. I made an appointment at this salon for a pedicure and they were able to accommodate me with the date and time slot I wanted. My appointment was at 11 and as I walked in through the door, I saw that there were 3 nail technicians occupied and another client waiting. I was greeted immediately by Michelle (I think she's the owner). Michelle was very friendly and I asked if I could fit in a full set with my pedicure as well and she accommodated me. I only waited about 10 mins before I was asked to go sit in the pedicure chairs. The water was extremely hot so the lady quickly adjusted the temperature to my liking. She took her time scrubbing and tending to my toes. It took approximately 1 hour for my pedi and it came out fabulous! However, the lady also did my full set. I asked for acrylic overlay on my natural nails and asked for a pink and white ombre. She used two powders to ombre my nails and it just turned out awful. But I have to mention that the shape is gorgeous however the blend and transition of my ombre nails are just horrible. On top of that, I also bled and had 2 cuts. I didn't complain because I didn't want to give her a hard time. I don't get my nails done much so I'm not sure if this is normal but afterwards my fingernails were very sore. For my pedi and ombre nails, I paid a total of $60... you would think that I should have complained about the bad ombre and got it fixed since I paid so much but honestly I just wanted it to be over with. At least I know better now. Overall, I would go back for pedicures but not for full sets. A lot of the reviews here mention that Michelle is amazing at manicures so perhaps next time I'll book with her. read more

The place is in the ghetto and the inside isn't the cleanest but they always seem to be busy. The only service I use is the lashes and the lady that does them is okay and the price is the going rate for this area. After my last session I will not be returning though. When I first started coming a full set of lashes was $60, then it went to $70 and now this last time it was $75 and she only spent an hour on a full set when she usually takes 2 hours and they were definitely not as full. Every time I would also have to wait 15-30 minutes after my appointment time. When it was only $60 I would overlook the poor performance. The lashes were not glued close enough to your lid so you could tell they were fake. The glue she used was extremely strong and made my eyes water and hurt my nostrils. I will definitely never be returning. I would rather go to my amazing lash girl out in Vacaville. I have gone to her several times, her spa is called Radiance. I always get compliments on them and they are always mistaken for being real. She uses a better quality material and she makes sure she does perfect work! read more

However, I can say that one of the ladies who does nails is always booked! Apparently she is one of the best in town so she books out fast and far! Location - Not the best area, but it's worth the trip! Sometimes the best gems are in the most unlikely spots! This place is located in a really small strip mall sort of place with other small shops. I recall seeing a liquor store and some sort of restaurant. It can be hard to find if you don't know where you are going. They don't seem to need any advertising. They are always busy when I have come in. Most of their clients appear to be regulars or they are there by word of mouth. To me, this is always a good sign! Okay, so pedi review. Let me just say this... there are nail shops a dime a dozen in the Sacramento area. You can pretty much get a pedi for around $15 anywhere, so why go somewhere you have to make an appointment in advance? Because THEY ARE THAT GOOD! I have gone to some other nail shops and been in and out in 10-20 minutes. This place scrubs your feet for 10-20 minutes! They have a wide variety of colors and they always manage to put some pretty sparkles and designs on my toes. By far - this is the best shop in Sac, that I've been to, for a low price, high quality pedicure! The only downside is having to make an appointment, but if you have the time, it's well worth it! read more

I LOVE this place, I've only been going here for a little over a year and the owner is amazing. I left a place that I had been going to over 5 years to go to her. I go in there and get a pedi and a fill. While I am there, there is always someone getting their lashes done. It's $75 for a new set of lashes and have been that price since I became a customer. Even though it is hidden away in the corner of the little shopping center it's a great place. There's nothing GHETTO about this place. If you want to get your nails done by Michelle then call in advance she stays booked no matter what. She is awesome when it comes to nails and designs and Amy is good when it comes to pedicures. Love this place and will continue to go here. UPDATE: 11/7/18 six years later I'm still going to this place, she recently remodeled (within the last year) the whole shop. I went to get my nails done based off a coworkers recommendation. Showed the lady what I wanted and did not get the results I showed her. I went in for a acrylic full set and wanted to get regular polish but was told I couldn't get a nail design with regular so would have to do gel polish. However, I didn't even get the design that I was requesting instead was given stickers when I asked her about the designs and the hand painted lines she told me to pick stickers. I got home and looked at the nails I didn't want and noticed my fingers were cut up from her filing, the shaping is uneven and the nails are incredibly thick. I tried to get them fixed however was told I should have told her I didn't like them sooner even tho I repeatedly said something. Would not return read more

Came here based on the reviews and it was the worst experience. Got a mani and pedicure, started with the pedi. When she turned on the water I said it was too hot instead of turning it down she repeated it's not hot. After I kept asking she finally fixed it. Pedicure went fine. Starts doing my mani and cut into my skin and I started bleeding she did not say one thing like if I didn't notice. I got white polish with designs on the toes and when I told her I only wanted it on my toes and not the hands she lost her mind. She started talking to other workers and kept saying only white over and over to show she was talking about me and I saw them looking up at me. Than sat me down to dry my nails but the fan wasn't even working for my hands. Kept trying to sell me on the gel polish as well. read more

I went in today for a full set. The lady (didnt get her name) convinced me to do a fill in. Alright, it was cheaper so I went with it. I showed her a picture of what i wanted which had a base color and glitter on half of the nails... she knew exactly what I wanted and recommended I do fiberglass instead of acrylic. She quoted me at $28.00 for what I wanted. After she finished with my nails, these are the WORST nails I've ever seen in my life. They're lopsided. The color and the glitter polish was dripping down which caused bumps on the side and edge of my nails. This looks like I asked a 5 year old to pain my nails. I asked her to fix it, all she did was yell and blamed me for it. The customer next to me even tried helping me explain to the lady that my nails were lopsided. If she couldn't do what I wanted, all she had to do was tell me she cant do that. I would have given her a diff options. When she rang me up, she rung me up for $33.00. She said the glitters were an additional 5 dollars. She knew exactly what I wanted and knew glitters would be involved. She should have quoted me correctly from the beginning. I'm never coming here again. Worst experience ever. As a nail technician, if you cant do something, DONT COMMIT TO IT!!! Because you're just going to fuck it up and have an upset customer. read more

Went in on Valentine's day, and it was my first time coming. I was desperate and out of option since my friends were not working at the nail salon that day. After searching through yelp and reading reviews I finally decided to try this place. I was looking forward to Michelle since there were a lot of good proof of her work, but she informed me that Lee would be able to help me with my ombre and marble design. That's when I made an appt for 1, and got seated right away when I got there after being greeted when I walked in. Lee did a good job, but she spent 2 hrs or so to get my ombre look. Which I don't mind if they are taking their time to prefect the look instead of rushing it just to get paid. She also got the coffin look down, but my nails are longer then what I normally like. Once she was done Michelle had to come over to do the marble look, because she didn't know how. Overall I love my nails, but a couple needed to be blended better and I got a small cut on my pinky is why I gave a 4 star. I would definitely return and price is just right read more

Needed a pedicure and am new to the area. This was my second choice since my first choice was too busy. Picked my color and was seated after about 2 minutes. The lady who gave me my pedicure didn't talk much, but it's ok...I'm not much to talk too and just wanted to relax. Her name is Lan. She didn't ask me which pedicure service I wanted, so I didn't say anything. So I guess if you don't specify, you get the basic pedicure which is $20. The spa pedicure is $32. She did an awesome job and took her time in cleaning my nails and especially my heels. My heels was cracked and very dry. To my surprise, she used a dremmel to sand the bottom of my feet. She also used a sponge thing to sand and clean away the callus and later after my leg and foot massage, she put more oil and used a different tool to sand my foot again. So I was very impressed that my heels hardly had any cracks in them and they were soft again because of the oil and lotion they use. Overall, I am very pleased and happy with the results. I am only disappointed in their massage chair that they put an extra cushion on the chair so you don't feel any massage. If you don't care for the massage chair, then I'd say the service was great. I will definitely come back again. read more
