I made an appointment the day of (Thursday) right when the opened for an acrylic nail fill at 5:30PM. I came in around 5:35PM and they were pretty busy. When I told them I had an appointment, they were not aware and told me it would be a few minutes, didn't get seated until 6PM and they didn't start my nails until 6:20PM - they close at 7PM. The nail technician who helped me was Kayla, she didn't seem very happy to be working on my nails as they were about to close. There were other free technicians but I believe she was the one who answer my call so she ended up doing them. Her station is in a very awkward spot as your left side will be mostly blocked by a wall, very uncomfortable. I showed her my inspo photo and I believe she did the best she could. She was rushing quite a bit, not allowing the gel to fully cure and kept messing up the design because she would pull or bump my hand trying to hurry. The final product wasn't the best, the nail base didn't match the original nail base I had previously but the designs for the polish ended up lifting since she did not allow me to cure it completely. My total for an acrylic fill with designs was $82 which I felt was really high. I tipped as well but they did not tell me there was a "convenience fee" for using card (the price generated after paying). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place because they were very unorganized and I felt very rushed out of my service. They were also cleaning up shop the entire time once I sat down so it wasn't relaxing either. Time management and scheduling system needs to be worked on. read more

LOVE JP Nail Spa! I've been coming here for years and have never left. It's in a very convenient location if your husband doesn't want to stay and wait for you, he can go get food at any of the restaurants around. When I got my wedding nails down, all the techs congratulated me and Karen did an amazing job. When I come after work, my techs always ask me how work was. They always take the time to make me feel relaxed. I always get basic nails for work but the techs always put so much time and care when doing them. Even when I change it up a slight bit, they get excited haha Could not recommend this place enough! They are easy to get a walk-in appointment and very reasonable for your pocket. read more

They do pretty good work. But sadly loyalty is built on returning customers. But if u take the one who is paying more over a regular but lesser service, you may never see that person again . I travel A lot I was on a tight schedule. When I make an appointment I am serious. 15 mins late and not saying that when I walk in is very poor customer service. They should have said Hi we are running late. I had to leave. Very sad this happened. read more

JP Nail Spa is everything you want in a nail salon: clean, friendly, and a high quality pedicure. They have many different tiers of pedicure service so it is very budget-friendly. However, if you are coming in with regular polish on your toes, take the polish off at home! They charge $15 for REGULAR POLISH REMOVAL -- kind of steep. I got the Spa Special Pedicure ($45) but my total came out to $65. I didn't catch the total discrepancy until after I left, so I went back in to clarify. My total came out to $60 (they overcharged me on accident and gave me back $5 cash). I came in as a walk-in, so I was very grateful to be serviced regardless. I would definitely come back because all the technicians are so nice and they did a wonderful job on my toes, just without polish on my piggies to begin with. read more

Ah-mazing! I came as a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon. Best decision I made that day! The staff were welcoming and polite. I could feel the relaxing vibe right away. The place is clean, tastefully and beautifully decorated, with nice massage chairs and furniture. Easy listening music was being played. There were about 4 other customers at the time but they were ready for me after a few minutes. I chose the $65 "deluxe" gel pedi. Linda did a fantastic job from the perfect temperature of the water to all the massages to the shaping and polishing of my toes. It was perfect and worth the splurge (that wasn't even the most expensive option, if you really want to spoil yourself). Kaitlyn worked on my hands at the same time I was getting my feet done. I asked for a gel mani but she talked me into doing a dip powder, which was $10 more. I agreed to it, and she ended up doing a wonderful job. My natural short nails look beautiful and hopefully will last longer than gel polish. My total was $110 (not including tip), which is more than I would usually pay, but I'm telling you, the service, the results, and the atmosphere were definitely worth every penny. This was my first time coming here! My toes have finally been in decent enough shape where I'm not embarrassed to get a pedicure! This place is only about a five minute walk from my house. Very clean looking inside! We had an appointment but had to wait about five/ten minutes. I enjoyed my pedicure and got regular polish. I wanted to wait longer for my polish to dry, but the woman that did my nails came over and said I was good to go! I left and went swimming at my moms, then noticed my nails had messed up while I was in the pool!! When I used to get regular nail polish on my nails, if it was ever to smudge on the first day, or even chip within the first couple days, they would fix, FOR FREE. I went back in after a few hours, said I would get gel instead since regular had messed up so fast (I knew would be extra), and they told me it would be $25! I told her that from my pedicure ($45) that I received earlier, gel was only a $10 up charge. (Mind you I had convinced my husband to come, his first pedicure ever! :) and he got no polish, obviously...so like...didn't we kinda pay for two?? I know it doesn't work like that....but still.....) Then they told me they would give me a discount at $15. Would put 3 stars for that, but the woman that did my pedicure made my experience 5 stars. Not sure who the woman was that wanted to charge me more, but I didn't appreciate that. Seemed like she was trying to take advantage and didn't leave a great first impression. $30 tip total ($20 for myself and husband first time, $10 second time for redo) $105 for services. $135 total for two pedicures with tip. The pedicures we received were lackluster... the price was about what other salons charge. The manicure that I received was terrible though. Way overpriced ($25 classic manicure- I opted for no polish) and it lasted all of 5 minutes. I still had cuticles that were unkempt and dead skin on my fingers. We probably won't be back. read more

I went in on Saturday to get a pedi and full set. Tricia and I for some reason can not remember the lady that did my toes did an amazing job. Unfortunately I woke up at 3am on Sunday morning with a horrible pain in my pinkie nail on my right hand, I was in so much pain I had to take the nail off. I was in pain all day and on Monday I went into Urgent Care and they said I had gotten an infection. I was put on antibiotics and I'm still in pain but I have to say the manager here was kind enough to give me a refund because I was in so much pain. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else this salon has great staff I just hope they keep things clean. read more

I was a walk in for a pedicure. I waited about 20 minutes before getting a chair. After I was assigned to my chair, I waited another 15/20 minutes sitting in the pedicure water. The woman who did my pedicure didn't talk much at all...which is fine. What I have a problem with is her lack of attention to detail & uncleanliness. I had to get gel removed from a previous pedicure and instead of soaking my toes with foil and acetone, she filed them down. She over filed and ended up hurting me. I said "Ow!" out loud, and then she placed the foil on to soak. The pedicure continued and I was on edge. I was disappointed to see that the file she used to shape my nails was not new. She reused a file that was used on someone else! I was hoping to come in for relaxation and self care. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that. One positive is they accept Venmo, and the pedicure chairs are comfortable. read more

I made a tradition to get my nails done with my mom and she is new to the whole thing but all the employees always make her feel so welcome and comfortable during every appointment. Came here a few times, never had a bad experience. Elly did my full set for my bridal shower and again for my wedding and I couldn't be happier! Both sets turned out beautiful and exactly how I wanted them to look. I provided her with photos of what I wanted and she perfected them and even made them look better than the photos! I came here a second time after my first since I love the experience and money worth it is. But, I came here the other day with my sister for a pedicure, and the lady was picking at my toe skin to the point where two of my toes started bleeding. Now my toes hurt especially when putting on socks. Everything was great up until that event and we were only 10 minutes in. I am now probably never going to a nail salon again cause of how sensitive my feet are. read more

When businesses are "Under New Management," I get nervous. It's either going to be better than ever, or a disaster. Well, the former KACE, now JP Nail Spa, I'm happy to report, is better than ever. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is calming, the prices are comparable to other nail joints in the 'hood, and the owner is a great communicator. Tracy did my pedicure yesterday and she was great -- kind, careful, skilled, and patient. It's such a fantastic amenity to have a friendly nail shop in the neighborhood. I hope they're a great success and stay under the SAME management forever! If they could work on one thing, it would be more transparency about the how they clean their equipment -- so important. My at-home manicures last longer than this. The polish application was uneven, streaky, and overall very blotchy. It looked rushed and poorly done. My pedicure experience was even worse. The technician seemed distracted after having a disagreement with the previous customer, and it showed in her work. The service felt very performative--she applied scrub but didn't actually massage or work it into my skin, skipped lotion entirely, and barely spent time on my feet. At one point, she even scratched me with the pumice stone by dragging it harshly across the bottom of my foot. They also don't offer disposable sandals, which led to my freshly painted toes getting smudged almost immediately. That alone was frustrating. I won't post my toes but it's just like my manicure. While the person who did my manicure paid more attention to my cuticles, the polish itself was just as bad--thick, stringy, and clumpy. It honestly seemed like the salon uses low-quality or old polish. The most concerning part, though, was what I witnessed regarding sanitation. After finishing with a client, tools were rinsed in the sink, placed back into the same "sterile" sleeve, set on the same towel in their cart, and then transferred into a new sleeve. That completely defeats the purpose of sterilization. On top of that, I realized afterward that a drill bit was used on my nails without being changed out for a new one. This place is unsanitary, unprofessional, and careless. I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly a bit horrified. I will not be returning.

Staff was nice and welcoming. Making a reservation was simple however they will make you sign a waiver. I got the "go get em tiger" pedi for $65. I wish they would've stated on the menu that it was only 30mins long. The service fell below what would be the "basic/express" pedi at the usual nail salons in the area. There are no massage chairs and no jetted foot tubs. My tech started with removing my regular polish, trimming and filing and then proceeded to swipe a foot filer once maybe twice on my heels and that's it. That's all you get. Next up, 30 second sugar scrub and then a hot towel. Fresh polish and no lotion massage at all. Also, tech doesn't clean under the nails either. My friend wanted to do French tips with hearts on her finger nails and was told they don't do nail designs. It's below basic service and not worth the price. I will not be returning.
