I made an appointment and came in thinking this was a different salon and not realizing I'd already been here before and left a review (thanks, pregnancy brain!) I got comfortable, flipped the massage chair on, and relaxed. The technician came out with her tray of tools, and I stupidly ignored the first red flag of the tools not being prepackaged after sterilization. The nail file she was using also seemed used. After my pedicure and as the polish was drying, I saw that she simply poured alcohol on a used rag to quickly wipe down the tools she JUST used on me. This leads me to believe that they just briefly wipe down their tools after every client, which is incredibly disgusting and unsanitary. read more

Rushed service and bad polish job. I've given this place several tries and each time I feel they rush through the process to get to the next customer. Went in this weekend for a pedicure, the massage was non-existence and about half my toes has top coat polish way outside the nail bed, just sloppily done. Will not be going back. read more

I love this place but there's a nail tech here who is incredibly aggressive with how she uses all the tools. I don't necessarily know everyones names so I don't ever ask for particular techs nor do I schedule ahead of time so if I show up I get whoever is open. The few times I've gotten this tech I have gotten my finger/toe cut EVERY time with her. So just beware, it is a really great business and they use high quality polishes. It can be an unfortunate experience if you end up going your first time and get the wrong tech. read more

Last year I found this place off a Yelp search of the top nail salons by my friend's house. It was raining - perfect timing to sit back, relax, and get an awesome pedicure. Ironically I'm here again on a rainy day with my friend, finally getting around to cashing in my gift certificate and writing this review to give this cute shop credit for yet another great experience. For starters, this place is impeccably clean. Spotless, actually, and they use liners for all of the pedicure bowls. The chairs are fantastic, and they keep the vibe relaxing with soft music and the tv on mute. Every technician is skilled here, so don't worry who you end up with. The owner, Loren, runs quality control. Although I don't come here often because it's far from where I live, they do such a great job here I don't mind cheating on my regular nail salon with Majestic. Do your nails a favor and make an appointment. There's a reason this place is always busy! read more

When I was seated 30 min after my appointment time, I should've taken the hint to go somewhere else. They were extremely busy and as I was waiting for my appt I could tell they were rushing through everyone else's nails because they were so backed up. When I was finally seated, the pedicure was anything but good. Barely any scrubbing. I told her about an ingrown nail and she barely touched anything. I recommend going elsewhere if you're looking for someone to do a thorough job read more

I came here last month for a manicure and pedicure. I wanted to try dipping my nails for the manicure, but have a regular pedicure. I informed the woman this is my first time having my nails dipped. She proceeded to file, cut, and buff my nails only. She then dipped all of my fingernails. After that, I went to the massaging chair for my pedicure. I received a pedicure as I have had in other salons (i.e. nail trim, buff, massage, etc). At the end of the services, I was charged $40 for the pedicure which I chose from a menu. And I was charged $33 for the manicure where there was no listing of prices anywhere in the salon. I talked to a few friends who have had their nails dipped. I thought $33 was expensive for this service especially since I didn't get a massage with the manicure. I wasn't sure if there is something specific with dipped polish that may interfere with the products used for a massage. My friends informed me that a massage comes with the manicure regardless if dipped polish is used. I feel cheated, because I believe that since I informed the woman this is the first time I would be receiving a dipped manicure she abbreviated the service. No, I will not be returning to this salon. read more

I really liked this nail salon but the lady who just did my nails was really sick and kept coughing all over me while doing a pedicure. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and they put the sick lady with me. Will not be coming back. I think her colleagues were arguing with her about being that sick at the work place and I heard her say Covid, then heard her saying if you want to go home go home to the coworker who was complaining about her being sick. Very unprofessional and just messed up. The water, wax, and stones were so hot. I kept telling her until I got tired of telling her. I could not enjoy it because of this and because she was coughing like crazy. read more

The older lady who did my nails was terrible at it! I dislike that she was rushing to do my nails just so she can do the next person. She even filed my nails too hard that it burned my skin a few time. I was getting irritated so I told her to please do it gently but instead it kept happening again. My nails turned out pretty messy. 1st visit: Walked in and was seated right away. I got to select my color and they started. My nail tech didn't talk much but I was totally okay with that. I like to play with my phone so it was fine. Took about an hour for my pup pink and white ombré. The shape was perfect and usually I have to reshape my nails once I'm home. The ombré was actual ombré and looked really nice. I got my full set the day after Christmas (12/26) and my nails lasted with no breakage, chips or lifting for over a month. I look my nails off on 1/31 due to growth. AND, all I paid was $45! 2nd visit: I called prior to coming this time because I really wanted my nails done here. I was able to come in right away (Friday at 10:30). I got a different nail tech (Katie) but she was just as good. I got the same service and quality of nails as last time. Pictures are from 2nd visit. read more

Wish I could give it no stars. This is by far this is the worst place to get your nails done. We had an appointment for 4 pedicures and my 6 year old niece wanted to get her toes and hands painted. We were greeted right away and the front deck personnel spoke pretty good English. She took us to get seated. The two mail technician came out arguing and opened super hot water for my feet. It was awkward but we didn't want this to get in our way for girls day. First off my nail technician did not trim my nails or cut off the cuticles. She scrubbed a little bit for the dead skin. When she waited my toes, she did not cover the entire toe nail. I'm so disappointed to have paid an extra $10 for gel nails just to have half of my toes painted and the gel came off on the second day. My 6 year old niece paint job was a joke. They had nail polish all over her skin. We went home and took the entire polish off. My sisters had the similar experience with there nail technician. I don't recommend this place and I will not be returning customer. read more

Pretty disappointed at this experience- I walked in and they took me immediately. I needed a fill. The women took four different personal phone calls, assuming distracted she sawed the side of my pinky until it bled. Used the super nail glue on it, touched the wound and the proceeded to put the cap back on and place it in its original spot.... Extremely unsanitary. Now she used the drill, of course. My cuticles were sore for day afterward. I stated to her that my nails were really thin, she responded with "no". I wasn't asking a question.. needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

The name is apt. They're helping me fix the atrocities committed upon my nails at 2 different salons since arrival (I am insanely picky about my nails. Some may not have considered them atrocious.). Perfect job on my manicure. 10/10 will do again. Excellent waxing services. 10/10 will come again and even get my legs done here for my 6 month leg waxings. (Very little leg hair do I have even after 6 months. Even after 1 year.) Pedicure was amazing and the massage chairs actually massage you. Oftentimes, massage chairs in salons make little to no impact. Not so here! 10/10 will come again! Tasteful nail art and jewels. These techs are artists. I feel so pampered and cared for. read more

She knows what I like. So she recommend this place. Of course I give it a try since, I never been. It was good but my fav to go to is still my favorite because it's much more glamorous and fancy ;) but this is cant compete. Jsy.... . So luxury it is ;) luxury is the highest package for 37 ;) comes with pedicure, cutting nails, color, paraffin wax, hot stone, longer massage, and cooling and sweet scrub for the legs. . So the pedicure was ok. They did a good job of cleaning my foot and making it brand new. They did take good care of my ingrown nail. Although they did a minor cut on my little toe, and when they applied alcohol it stinged.... . The massage could be better maybe with a little more pressure would have been great. Didnt feel like the massage was alot longer than normal but it was meh. . The pro inside is that they are clean and have alot of people working so wait time is cut down alot. The con is the parking which is in a neighborhood with narrow streets. . Overall they did the job. Will be back when I need another one when I need one desperately. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day! read more

This is my favorite spot for pedis. I have yet to get a full set of nails because I'm trying to get my natural nails healthy. Anyhow.... I've been here a few time for the "luxury pedi". It's about an hour process of soaking, rubbing, scrubbing, clipping, filing, painting, etc. Very nice and relaxing. They drop some fancy dried fruit into your foot bath. Along with some sort of oils and such. They use hot rocks to massage your legs. Lotions, oils, scrubs... and my all theme fav, the foot wax. Yes it's hot, but your feet have never felt better! This is something to go get done when you need some relaxing me time. You won't be disappointed! 5 stars!! Can't wait to go back!! read more

Summers almost here, ladies and gents make sure to get those pedis! Walked in and it was pretty packed. They were able to seat me in 10 minutes. $32 for the Luxury pedicure which was worth every dollar. I think that's pretty standard, even cheap for a pedi they includes mask, massage, paraffin dip, and hot stone rub. Very thorough with the pedicure. She did a phenomenal job! Wish they had more colors to choose from for Standard polishes. I ended up going with a bright turquoise that turned out really cute. They also have the massage chairs, which is a must when getting those feet done. The Parking lot is small, there's a few 10 minute parking spots, the workers said it's ok to park there. There's also residential parking nearby. For the win it's located next to Freeport Bakery. Go spoil yourself, grab some dessert afterwards. read more

I went to Majestic nails on Sunday, Oct 11, 2020 around 2-3pm. They charged me $40 for a blush pink acrylic nails in medium size coffin shape. The lady who did my nails was really nice and the owner is really sweet too. However, I'm giving this place a two stars because the pinky nail broke off within 1-2hrs after I walked out of their nail shop. I tried to call them multi times around 4:20-5pm but I noticed that they were closed. My middle finger nail fell off 4 days which is today, Thursday! I really wanted to give them a higher rating since everyone was so friendly, but the product/ work that I received wasn't the best. read more

I was referred by a former coworker who told me about builder nails on toes that were misshaped. I wouldn't advise African Americans to go there though! The owner is very discriminatory and will interrogate you over the phone and pretends not to remember you each time you call back to reschedule. If you walk in to schedule an appt she will say they are booked for weeks. When you agree to be scheduled out, she will say to call, only to say they're busy and shorthanded, and tell you to call back! She even recommended I go somewhere else! Do Not Support this business. The owner responded, attempting to discredit my review, so I'll add more context. The last time I called to I book an appt, she told me they were two weeks out. She tried to give me a real early appt on a weekday, I said no, I work during the day. She said I could come on Sat, I said ok. I called the day before to confirm, she said she only had me down for the early weekday appt! I reminded her no, I accepted the early Sat appt. Again she said she didn't see it! I had to remind her of the convo, and she just said ok. Fast forward yesterday, I did call to schedule an appt and asked if there was any openings that day. She said no. No problem. Once again she started to interrogate me. Have you been here before? I said yes. She asked when I explained my initial appt. I told her I had an appt last month. She kept on asking details. I told her it was Labor Day, I'm a state worker, so I was off that day. She allegedly went through the schedule and said she couldn't find me. I told her the lady that helped me said her name was Phu. She said no one by that name works here! I replied, why do you make me feel like I need to prove myself to get an appt and patronize your business. She then tried to refer me to another business across the street! Finally she booked me for next Saturday at 10! I decided after that conversation that this was excessive, and wrote a review! I had no intention on keeping that appt! I realize businesses have the right to refuse service or say they are not accepting new clients. I am ok with that. However the customer service by the owner is unacceptable. I have been using the same tech for years, but she doesn't offer the nail builder service for pedi's , so I wanted to try someone new! Oasis was the wrong choice! Again, I must reiterate the nail techs are excellent! This is not in anyway diminishing the quality of work, just the owners treatment for no reason. I will take ownership, I should've declined to be serviced there! I DO NOT Recommend this business! By the way she called after the review, and suddenly had an opening at 4:18. No thanks!

Blush Nail and Beauty Bar

We were in Sacramento for the day shopping for snowboarding gear and making a trip to the Apple…read moreStore, and since we had some extra time, I searched for a nail salon that could squeeze me in for a regular manicure and pedicure. I'm so glad I found Blush Nail & Beauty Bar! First of all, this place is BEAUTIFUL. The salon is spacious, bright, clean and relaxing, and the pedicure chairs are gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. The music was also SO GOOD! They were playing what sounded like 2000s R&B, and it honestly added so much to the whole relaxing atmosphere. I also really appreciated that they had a good selection of regular nail polish. I don't get gel, and not once did anyone question my choice or try to pressure me into upgrading to gel. That alone was refreshing. The original color I picked was very sheer, and I asked if they could put white underneath it. They explained that doing that could make it look streaky and recommended choosing another color instead. I didn't end up with the exact color I originally wanted, but I appreciated them explaining why rather than doing something they didn't think would turn out well. I still really like the soft color I ended up with. I chose their least expensive manicure and pedicure package, and I was honestly surprised by how much was included. The pedicure was wonderful -- probably the best foot massage I've ever had. It was so relaxing I was practically falling asleep! It even included paraffin wax. My manicure technician was wonderful too. She gave a great massage and was very gentle and patient with my cuticles. I can get nervous when my cuticles are pushed back and trimmed, and I felt completely comfortable here. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant, patient and welcoming. They also offer complimentary mimosas, wine and beer. I chose an ice water, and even that was delicious and refreshing. Overall, this was such a nice unexpected find during our Sacramento day. Beautiful salon, comfortable chairs, amazing music, great massages, friendly staff, regular polish without the gel pressure, and a genuinely relaxing experience. I would absolutely come here again the next time I'm in Sacramento

I scheduled a visit a few days in advance for three people and four services and paid an $80 deposit ($20 per service) via Venmo. One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. How was your experience with the water temperature? Did you have a better experience with a different technician? I'd genuinely be curious to know!

I called the same day hoping to get an appointment after work, and Tracy was so kind and accommodating. She told me she'd take care of me, and she absolutely did. Tracy is professional, meticulous, and pays incredible attention to detail. My nails turned out even better than I imagined, and I couldn't be happier with them. Eric did my deluxe spa pedicure and did an amazing job on my gel French toes. Everything looked flawless, and the pedicure was so relaxing. The salon itself is a cute little shop that is very clean and welcoming. I also LOVE their massage chairs, they massage both your back and bottom. Overall, I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I left feeling pampered, refreshed, and so happy with the results. Highly recommend Tracy and Eric. I've been trying to find a good nail salon near me but it's not easy finding a place that does a solid job on both nails and toes especially for french, something so basic. They do quality work here within reasonable price and I can't wait to come back.

UPDATED REVIEW!…read more Monet Spa and Nails is about convenience for me because it's down the street from my daughter's jiu jitsu class. I took a break from getting my nails done recently, but decided to come in this weekend to get a pedicure for our upcoming vacation. I made an appointment for 9:45am and was immediately greeted and seated at a pedicure station - I was also offered water too. I went with the Deluxe Pedicure which was $42 + extra for the Gel polish. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! Overall, I'm glad I decided to come back and give them another chance. This is definitely my new favorite nail salon!

I was honestly really hesitant about trying someone new because I'm extremely particular about my nail shape and have been going to the same nail tech in LA for years. My sister recommended Tracy, and I couldn't be happier that I trusted her. Tracy absolutely nailed it! The shape, length, and design were PERFECT. She paid so much attention to detail and gave me exactly what I wanted. If you're looking for someone who is talented, meticulous, and truly cares about her work, I HIGHLY recommend Tracy. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in Sacramento!

I'm writing to address the experience I had at your salon today, which was not only disappointing…read morebut completely unacceptable. I have been a loyal client for over a year, consistently spending over $100 per visit, and I have always come in respectfully, communicated clearly, and expected the level of service that matches the price I pay. Today, a nail tech abruptly took over my service and immediately told me I "should go somewhere else" because I'm "never satisfied." I have never raised my voice, insulted anyone, or behaved disrespectfully. I simply expect quality for the price I pay. She went as far as saying the staff "gets scared" when I come in, which is not only unprofessional but completely false. Throughout the past year, I've also noticed that the staff frequently speaks in their language while looking directly at me or other clients, creating an uncomfortable environment where customers feel talked about instead of respected. This has happened every single time I've visited. To make matters worse, shortly before my service was finished, I overheard another woman complaining about her nail tech as well, proving I'm not the only customer experiencing issues. When I requested a small discount due to the disrespect I received, the salon refused. No apology, no accountability, and no professionalism. After a year of loyalty and hundreds of dollars spent, this is how I was treated. I will not be returning, and I hope management seriously reevaluates how staff communicates with customers and handles feedback.

Majestic Nail Salon truly lives up to its name! I've been coming here for dip manicures and pedicures, and every experience has been nothing short of amazing. Their dip manicures are top-notch--neat, long-lasting, and beautifully done every time. The nail techs pay close attention to detail and take their time to make sure the shape and finish are just right. I always leave with nails that look clean, elegant, and professional. But what really keeps me coming back is their pedicure service, especially the hot stone massage. It's not just a quick foot soak--it's a full relaxation experience. The pedicure itself is thorough and refreshing, and the hot stone leg and foot massage is the perfect finishing touch. It's calming, soothing, and feels like a mini spa getaway. The staff is always welcoming, professional, and kind. The salon is clean, comfortable, and never feels rushed. If you're looking for high-quality nail care with a relaxing atmosphere, Majestic Nail Salon is the place to go. read more

This is the worst nail work I've ever had in all the years getting my nails done. After thinking about it, I did not see the lady who worked on me, post a license anywhere near her work station. Is she even trained properly??? The first photo is what I asked for ....I should have stopped her after the multiple times she filed the side of my fingers instead of the nails. Super painful!!! Especially when she did the dip powder afterwards. The burning while under UV light was a terrible feeling by the way. I am hoping I don't get an infection from this. The hygiene between tools is questionable. The shaping is terrible. The application of gel nail polish is the worst ..my 9 year old could have done better. It's bumpy on different parts, as if the nail shavings dropped back on it somehow? I have to go somewhere else to fix this ASAP. I cannot go back to work Monday with this mess. In hindsight, I should have asked to talk to a manager and that's on me. However, I was pretty upset and in shock about this whole experience and just wanted to get out of there. I'm not sure I can trust anyone that works here. I have multiple minor cuts on my fingers from it being basically grated on from the file. Never going back here again. For what it's worth, my friend has been coming here for a long time and has never had a bad experience. She has never had the lady that worked on my nails, work in hers. I guess I get to be the lucky one with the bad experience.

I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience here. I got a basic manicure and pedicure with…read moreregular polish, and everything started chipping within a day--which is unacceptable, especially since I don't do any kind of manual labor. My at-home manicures last longer than this. The polish application was uneven, streaky, and overall very blotchy. It looked rushed and poorly done. My pedicure experience was even worse. The technician seemed distracted after having a disagreement with the previous customer, and it showed in her work. The service felt very performative--she applied scrub but didn't actually massage or work it into my skin, skipped lotion entirely, and barely spent time on my feet. At one point, she even scratched me with the pumice stone by dragging it harshly across the bottom of my foot. They also don't offer disposable sandals, which led to my freshly painted toes getting smudged almost immediately. That alone was frustrating. I won't post my toes but it's just like my manicure. While the person who did my manicure paid more attention to my cuticles, the polish itself was just as bad--thick, stringy, and clumpy. It honestly seemed like the salon uses low-quality or old polish. The most concerning part, though, was what I witnessed regarding sanitation. After finishing with a client, tools were rinsed in the sink, placed back into the same "sterile" sleeve, set on the same towel in their cart, and then transferred into a new sleeve. That completely defeats the purpose of sterilization. On top of that, I realized afterward that a drill bit was used on my nails without being changed out for a new one. This place is unsanitary, unprofessional, and careless. I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly a bit horrified. I will not be returning.
