The foot scrub and massage were great too! As for the vibe, it was quiet as old movies or tv shows played. I do think there is opportunity to modernize the space and entertainment but obviously it's not a big deal but could definitely enhance the experience. The real ones know what's up. Finding the right nail tech for you is like finding a boyfriend. Maybe harder in my opinion. You gotta find someone who does quality work that lasts, fits in your budget and fits what you need - do you like talking? Do you not? etc. That's where Becky comes in. Becky hooks it up. She's quiet and calm, and pays a lot attention to detail, doesn't rush me. I've been going to her for a while. Main reason is because she actually cares about my nails. I had acrylics for a long time - she noticed a weird spot on my nails and suggested I hold off on them, giving me gels instead. I came in again for dip powder, two of the corners on my natural nail were chipped, she fixed them for me with tips. This woman is top tier. I haven't tried anyone else here but I have no intentions of doing so. So as far as the negative reviews - they happen. But don't let that sway you when the shorties in south sac really know that this place gets fairly busy and don't care about yelp reviews.

Also, there is now a new lady named Kim who specializes in massages, which hasn't brought in a lot of business, so they have her doing the foot/calf rub part of the pedicure, and it's even more spectacular. Who would've thought a nail salon this amazing could be tucked away in a rundown strip mall next to the laundromat? But it's true! The inside is surprisingly clean and modern. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides top-notch service. I've only tried their pedicures so far, but I've been consistently impressed. Pedicures start at just $30, making it an affordable luxury. The massage chairs are super comfy, and the leg and foot massages are heavenly. I usually opt for the $40 organic pedicure, which includes a paraffin wax dip, leg mask, and an extra-long massage. It's worth every penny! If you're looking for a relaxing and affordable pedicure, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed! Took 2 of my friends for pedicures on a holiday and they were able to accomodate all 3 of us at the same time on short notice. Great selection of color choices. My manicurist was very gentle and thorough. The scrub and mask felt amazing followed by an even better foot massage. Highly recommended!!! read more

The French tips are also poorly painted, the tips are uneven, and depending on the lighting you can see smears of white everywhere in her attempt to fix it without wiping it off complete and re-doing it. The shaping is also uneven. To top it off-- the nails are already budging at the cuticle, I'm sure these will fall off before a week. Lastly, I understand that the economy sucks and it's hard for small businesses. I don't appreciate the attempt to do a manicure and pedicure at the same time. The twisting and turning is uncomfortable, it's not relaxing, and you feel rushed.

I did warn them before getting them done that my nails are on the thin side and to please not file much.
