I was in there on a Sunday and it was uncomfortably hot, there was no conditioning running. I walked in here after being treated rudely at a nearby salon, and these ladies were very kind and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. Upon walking in, I was greeted by all 3 ladies there and they replied with a kind and sincere "Of course" when asked if they had time for a pedicure. The lady who would be doing my pedicure asked me to give her a moment to prepare a tub and less than 2 minutes later, I was siting in the chair being serviced. I received the "Luxury Pedicure" by Vivian and she was very gentle and fast. The pedicure turned out very neat and pretty. First time here and not happy at all. My daughter has prom tomorrow and her nails are garbage. I made appointments for her, 3 friends and myself and was assured that we'd all be taken care of. Unfortunately, when we arrived the salon was empty and only had 2 employees there. Apparently the other nail techs were at DMV. My daughter asked for coffin shaped with black polish, white tips and a gem on each ring finger. She ended up with pink powder, square shaped, lumpy black with uneven white and the gem,(which was placed up against the cuticle) fell off in the shop, within 10 minutes of being put on. (Plus she dropped the running dremel on my daughter's hand because she was trying to listen to my conversation, so my daughter had to pick it up and move it. We asked her to fix the color and she told us that she can't. She also argued that they were coffin even though they were clearly square. My daughter's friend asked for a manicure with a simple ombre, with photo reference, but the tech did what she wanted and didn't listen at all! She butchered her cuticles, clipped her nails way too low, shaped them incorrectly,added glitter when she was told not to and painted her toes a totally different color than her nails! Then she was irritated when we told her it wasn't what she asked for and said she can't fix it. We refused to pay for the garbage,(which I've never done before), and told her we were going to another salon to have them fixed. The nail tech then proceeded to tell us not to come back,(after I said we were never going there again) and called us "stupid people".‍ Another tech followed us to my car to keep throwing insults. It's sad when an adult feels the need to insult kids because they were unhappy and I spoke up. We're at a different salon getting their nails fixed. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. As for your response, WRONG! Do not lie, accept the fact that you tried to bully teenagers into paying for a garbage job and that you spewed insults to kids. Did that make you feel good? As for wanting a free service, get over yourself, money is no issue. I just paid $90 before tip to fix your garbage and have them redone. Look at the pictures, if that is what you call good work, you need to get your head checked. BE ACCOUNTABLE AND ACCEPT THAT YOU WERE WRONG. Also, that was my child not my friend, which I clearly stated at the shop. I stand by my review. read more

I was driving by and had a last minute thought to pull in at this salon. I walked in and they immediately greeted me and were able to schedule a pedicure. It had been awhile since my last pedi and I was a little apprehensive, however as soon as I sat in the massage chair and I took a good look around, I noticed how tidy and clean the salon was. The woman who assisted me, Judy, did a top notch job, she was very careful and meticulous and I was happy with the results. There was even a massage included that lasted awhile. I think many have experienced getting a crappy "massage" during a pedicure that consists of 30 seconds of rubbing and 2 slaps on the leg to indicate they are done. Not here! Real foot and leg massage. This salon is clean and compact, offering services from hair to nails to waxing. They have a huge color wall to choose from and a friendly owner and employees. Wow. I have never had this done before so I didn't realize how bad it is to do it--one of my acrylics and the natural nail broke off and when Anna "repaired" it rather than putting on a new tip she "built" one with acrylic "gel" (what they use when they do a fill). The acrylic on the underside of the nail started chipping away a few days later and now that it's been about two weeks a chunk is gone and dirt easily collects there (see pic). Also, I forgot to mention in my initial review that a lot of my nails had lumps/bumps and "dents" in them. read more

I love this nsil and hair salon my nail look great everytime and their cuatomer service is top notch. They are careful to do the nails exactly how you like them. They also do hair and did an awesome job cutting my boyfriends hair. They have a special service now where the shampoo and condition your hair and scalp. You even gat a mini massage and facial. I have been going to The Perfect Trend for 7 years. I am male, and not one really to get pedicures, but at the risk of giving too much information, I have two nails that are difficult to work with. I cannot deal with them myself, and they cause pain if I don't do something about them. I have tried several nail shops, all without success. then I saw Anna. Anna knew exactly what to do to relieve my pain. she works at the issue. I call her my doctor- she is that good. I travel 30 minutes to see her -each way, and when I leave, the pain is gone, and I am ok for another month or so. All of the women in the shop are nice when I come in. Be prepared to wait!!! I have been here three times over the past two months and one thing is for certain: they do not respect appointment times. I have had to wait for up to a half an hour past my appointment time. Or I have had my manicure or pedicure broken up between staff. They do not have enough staff for their clients. Anna does a very nice job with Dip manicures, but the pedicures are not good. The leg massages are so short and weak and I've left with bloody toes twice. Came here for a Spring wax - legs and "leave just the middle" bikini. I called in advance and got an appointment right away (Thursday afternoon). They did an awesome job and I will absolutely be going back - fast, great price, and great work. Arrived at 4 and out by 5:15 which, in my experience (decade of waxing), is really fast. $120 for the whole thing, plus tip. They did an awesome job too. I prefer to "zone out" and they respected that too, besides a few essential questions here and there. I'll note that the space is a bit cramped but clean. read more

Short version: You'd be hard-pressed to find better quality work, facilities, and nail polish at this price point anywhere in this city. If you are a walk-in, looking for an excellent deal manicure, pedicure, or waxing services, this is an outstanding choice. Longer, more meandering version: Caveat: I come here for regular manicures (not gel) and pedicures, and brow waxing. I can't speak to other services. This place is a damn gem, and I'm angry I didn't find it until a couple of months ago. It's the old-school, South Sac model of great prices and excellent workmanship (there must be a better, more updated word for that, but I can't think of it right now) with limited frills. So, you're not going to a fancy day spa, and you should not come her expecting that. This is efficient beauty / clean up, delivered in a clean and friendly environment. My pedicures have lasted for weeks, and my last regular manicure lasted 10 days without chipping. They are adept with the manicure tools, so you feel cleaned up. Their brow game is on point. You can usually get in as a legit walk-in. There is a certain reader looking for a place like this, and you need to know they haven't all gone to crap despite some of the reviews. And, you don't have to drive to Natomas or work your way down Stockton Blvd looking for that perfect manicurist like the ones you used to know in the early 2000s. read more
