I'm back to being done here. It started being too time consuming to get my nails done all the time,…read moreso I had my gel builder & what was left of my nail tips removed. My fingernail had already been damaged by a short haired tech here during a polish change. Then I came to get things removed and the person put the sander tool in that same deep groove and it almost went through the nail to the nail bed. I jumped and pulled my hand back because it hurt. All of my nails have deep grooves in them and I haven't been painting them because the grooves show up even more with paint. I have to let the grooves grow out. Also, during my last visit, I used the bathroom. There was a sign on the wall saying not to flush toilet paper because it creates toilet clogs. There is a flip top can in there with USED toilet paper! This is illegal because used toilet paper is technically a biohazard. For drying hands, they have a hand blower. These machines blow germs all over the place. They are not sanitary at all. So pair that up with a trash can full of bacteria covered toilet paper & you have a recipe for grossness. I will not be back. Getting injured by more than one technician and then the used toilet paper in the trash can, I'm out.

Upon removal though my lashes definitely looked a little short and stubby on top of me also being used to extensions. I did some research and settled on Dolores at Beauty Marks for a lash lift. Dolores is so sweet and immediately put me at ease. Very clean little place near Sacramento City College and she was very thorough and professional. We had a great conversation during the process and it really made time go by faster and before I knew it were done. Due to having had lash extensions in, some of my lashes wouldn't curl fully. This was in no way Dolores' fault but she had me come in for a follow up appointment the next week to try and get them to curl more which I really appreciated. Both interactions with her made me feel she really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and in such a genuine way too. Thank you again!
